This study aimed to identify the extent of using modern technologies for the purposes of scientific research by faculty members at Tishreen University, and the impact on the degree of psychological satisfaction they have. To achieve this, a random sa
mple was selected of Tishreen University teachers, it consisted of 185 members. Questionnaire has been used as a tool to survey of members of the study sample after it was ascertained that the sincerity and persistence.
The study results showed the low level of use of modern techniques in scientific research by faculty members at Tishreen University, and that the computer and Internet are in the front of technology most commonly used, then CDs and E-mail service came in the intermediate level, the video conference and mobile phone technique did not yet started as an assistant means in scientific research at the university. The results also show that the use of modern techniques in scientific research may help to raise the level of self-esteem among the members of the teaching staff and allow sufficient time for them to accomplish and complete the work as if their existence was optimal, in addition to that most of the sample members responses coincident with the availability of these technologies contributes also to know the results of their work and raise the level of positive appreciation by their departments, thus contributing to achieve an acceptable degree of job satisfaction, which is a form of psychological satisfaction.
The findings also revealed the weakness of the technical equipment needed to conduct scientific research in the laboratories of the university, and a lack of awareness of its importance, in addition to existence technical problems accompany the (lack of regular maintenance and the lack of technicians and the necessary updates) and the lack of sufficient time for faculty members to carry out scientific research.
The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the psychological satisfaction of the members of the teaching staff at Tishreen University due to the use of modern techniques for the purposes of scientific research variable depending on the sex and Grade and of experience years, while there were no differences according to the type faculty variable.
The main recommendations of the study: equipping laboratories of faculties with modern techniques to help to conduct scientific research, and work on updated them and provide with the necessary maintenance constantly, and training the teaching staff members on how to use the techniques of scientific research.
The study aimed to identify the role of the Data Show on the profession of the university teacher from their point of view. The study sample consisted of (56) as a teacher. And applied a questionnaire as a measurement tool, axes focused on the organization of the lecture time, and the development of the teaching method, and keep abreast of scientific developments, and psychological and professional satisfaction.
The research aimed to identify the level of creative thinking skills (fluency,
flexibility, originality, whole degree) among basic fourth class students in Latakia, in the
light of gender. To achieve this purpose, the researcher used Torrance test
of creative
thinking-vocabulary form (A). The sample consisted of (255) students (125 males and130
females)selected by using random sampling method, from several schools in Latakia, The
results showed weakness in the level of creative thinking among basic fourth class
students. The average of degrees were(the whole degree95.21, fluency 46.85, flexibility
28.27,and originality 20.08), The results also showed that there were no statistically
significant differences in each skill of creative thinking (fluency, originality, and whole
degree) due to gender, but there were statistically significant differences in degree of
flexibility in favor of females. In the light of the findings, the study suggested merging the
skills of creative thinking in curriculum, and teaching these skills independently, fasten
training session to teachers to habituation them on development of creative thinking during
the class teaching, and setting up tests to measure creative thinking skills codified in Syrian
environment, and conducting new researches focusing on creative thinking (from where
measuring and development him) in different school levels, with using other variables.
The purports of the research was to study the attitudes Tishreen Universities teaching
staff in the level of University Learning Resources Center quality, and to study the
different of such attitudes according to variables (faculty, qualification a
nd experience).
The present research used the descriptive analytical approach. The sample included
(220) teaching staff for the academic year 2015/2016. To achieve the objective of the
research a questionnaire has been included (80) items, to four areas. Validity of the
questionnaire was established though a jury of (7) of the teaching staff of educational at
Damascus and Tishreen. Pilot sample consisted of (20) teaching staff, Reliability was
established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.95).
The final results indicated that the Quality of Learning Resources Center in Tishreen
University was in the middle degree, Also showed the results that are no differences in the
found degree according to the qualification and experience between the opinions of sample
research of teaching staff, but there are differences between teaching staff in faculty.
The research suggested to supply with modern technological in Learning Resources
Center in the University, and setting the training courses about used its.

From The Teachers viewpoint, And know the differences in the answers to the members of
the teachers according to the research variables: (University, academic specialization, years
of experience). In addition to discovered the difficulties using the modern teaching
techniques in teaching techniques in the Institutes Languages, and presenting the
suggestions for improvement teaching techniques through of modern techniques.
The present study aimed at evaluating the styles of the mathematics teachers which
help to develop thinking skills of the sixth grade students at the basic education in Lattakia,
and it also aimed at examining the significance of differences among
the means average of
teachers who practice the encourage methods to thinking skills of students according to
variables of (gender, Experience and the scientific qualification). To achieve this goal, the
descriptive approach was used. And an assessment scale of the teacher's style of
developing thinking was prepared for evolution. After proving its validity and stability
according to the known statistical methods, the scale was applied to a sample of 30
teachers (males and females).
The results were as follows:
- The degree of mathematics teachers concerning their practices of developing
thinking methods of the of the sixth graders at the basic education in Lattakia was (54.2%)
which was represented first by providing the interactive social environment (58.4%), and
second it was represented to (53.6%) for the method of listening to students and respecting
their views whatever they were simple, and third it was represented to (51%) concerning
the teacher' using modern to modern teaching strategies.
- There are no statistical significant differences between the teachers' responses on
the teacher practice scale of developing thinking methods due to the variable of gender,
scientific certificate, and the years of experience.
The two researchers suggested developing of the mathematics guide book of the
sixth grade, and developing programs of preparing and training teachers to improve the
levels of thinking by students such as analysis, synthesis, criticism and weight-bearing
skills, in addition to holding training sessions to in-service teachers in order to activate the
teaching practices methods that encourage developing thinking, and they also suggested
applying similar studies depending on the observation card at different teaching stages by
other subjects teachers.
The present study aims to find out the reality of postgraduate students' use of printed
learning resources and its role in serving the scientific research. The sample of the study is
all postgraduate students enrolled in Tishreen University college
s. The researcher has
relied on the descriptive approach and used the questionnaire as a research tool in order to
find out the reality of postgraduate students' use of printed learning resources and its role in
serving the scientific research. The study has found that the most important printed sources
used by the postgraduate students at Tishreen University are printed books, followed by
periodicals.
Moreover, there were statistically significant differences at (0.05) among the answers
of the research sample members, Tishreen postgraduate students, concerning the services
provided by the libraries of the scientific research, especially the printed sources, and
regarding the difficulties of using the libraries in the scientific research, especially the
printed sources, according to the variable of College Type. However, there were no
statistically significant differences among the answers of the research sample members
regarding the previous two topics according to the variable of the Academic Year.
