The Research aims at recognizing the opinions of public high school teachers in Lattakia governorate, And determine the difference in their opinions according to many variables as: (Teacher Gender, School Place, Experience and both the Educational an d Scientific Qualifications). The Researcher chose a Sample, including 36 teacher of both genders "male and female" work in the Public High School during the school year 2013-2014. And to achieve the purposes of the Research, the Researcher designed a questionnaire. Then , the questionnaire to committee of nine arbitrators in both Damascus and Tishreen University, where the committee proved the questionnaire after it was applied to the group of 30 teachers, then calculating (Alfa Cronbagh), which evaluates in 0.91. The research showed the following results:(The size of the school violence is in the medium magnitude, and the Results showed that there are no important differences between the opinions of teachers of high school in Lattakia about the extent of the school violence there are in schools, according to the following variables:(Teacher Gender, School Place) and that there are important differences according to the following variables(teacher Experience and educational scientific qualification). In Conclusion, the Research included some proposals, the more important of them:( Find a substitute for the Beating Prevention Law, in way aims at making the student bears a part of his responsibility towards his life, study and school, and Open a discussion with students to express their opinions, and give trust to them).
The present research sought to find out the attitudes of a sample of teachers of public secondary schools towards early retirement, and to what extent these attitudes differ according to the research variables. The number of the study sample consist ed of teachers. (399) The researcher used a measure of the attitude towards early retirement which was tested for its valuably and veniality The most important search results: The order of the reasons why the teacher tend to early retirement was as follows: health, materialistic, psychological, social, functional. There are significant differences in the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement due to the variable of sex, as it shows that females are more inclined towards early retirement. There are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement due to the variable of academic qualification.
This research aims at knowing the reality of School Theatre in Damascus city schools from the point of view of second stage teachers' of basic education. In addition, it aims at researching some suggestions that help in activating the use of School T heatre according to variables of this research which are (gender, qualification and expertise). The sample consisted of (405) teachers who were selected from Damascus city schools by using the simple random sample. The researcher prepared a questionnaire related to the reality of School Theatre and it was applied on the sample after it was tested for its validity and reliability.
The objective of this research is to identify the organizational climate in basic education schools in the province of Damascus, from the point of view of teachers and the nature of human relations prevailing between them. This search used descriptiv e analytical method. The sample included (328) teachers of primary schools in the province of Damascus for the academic year 2012/2013. To achieve the objective of this research, the organizational climate questionnaire has included (38) items, and human relation questionnaire has included (30) items. Results show that, there were significant relationships between organizational climate and human relations prevailing between teachers. Also there were no significant differences between respondents answers about their schools' climate and human relations in general. The research concludes with recommendations, including further researches about organizational climate in schools according to other variables, also aims to provide more programs and activities, which enhance human relationships between teachers.
The aim of this research is to know the differences among the students of higher studies in Damascus University, faculty of Education towards the evaluation of their teachers and to reveal the students' most important qualities according to the va riable of gender, specialization, the type of direction, and university. The research also presents some suggestion in the light of its results. The researcher made questionnaire consisting of 57 items revolving around three axes. The questionnaire has been applied on a sample of 59 higher studies students of both genders and of different specializations.
This study aimed to identify the training requirements of teachers in classroom management as perceived by teachers themselves in first six cases of the basic education in state education schools in the province of Damascus, and to identify the ef fect of each of the following independent parameters: gender, the class which is taught by the teacher, scientific qualification, educational qualification, years of experience.
This research aims to reveal the Human Relationships Between Managers and Teachers in Secondary Schools ,from viewpoint of teachers. The research adopted the analytical descriptive approach, using the questioner, it involved (26) items to gathering information and opinions from the teachers.
The aim of this study was to identify the degree of effectiveness of the performance of the secondary school principals in the Directorate of Education in the province of Damascus from the point of view of teachers. To achieve the goal of the study, a tool consisting of (44) items has been developed and distributed on six areas. The veracity of the tool and its persistence has also been ascertained and applied on a random sample consisting of (236) male and female teachers working in the official schools of the Directorate of Education located in the province of Damascus. The collected data has been analyzed by extracting the arithmetic means, the standard deviations, the analysis of variance, and the post hoc Tukey's test. The results showed that the effectiveness degree of performance of the managers of the secondary schools has recorded an average rate according to the teachers. Whereas, the effectiveness degree of the recruitment technology, school climate, and planning has been high. The effectiveness degree of performance, concerning school tests, academic achievements, leadership, has achieved an average rate. The findings have indicated no statistically significant differences attributable to the independent variables at the function (0.05) on the different fields of the study except of the variable experience degree of school tests. The differences have been in favor of those who have an experience of less than 5 years. A number of statistically significant differences have been detected and which have resulted from the interaction between gender type and the academic qualification within the realm of academic attainment. The differences have been in favor of males holding BA degrees along with those working in different fields such as, recruitment of technology, school climate, and school tests. The differences have been in favor of females holding degrees of intermediate institutes.
The research has aimed to identify the role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community in Homs and knowing the different responses of teachers participating in the research depending on the two c riteria of (sex , years of teaching experience) . The sample consisted of (303) male and female teachers who have been chosen randomly from the schools of Homs city. The researcher has followed the Descriptive approach in her survey and she has used a questionnaire kind of survey as a means to achieve the objectives of the research after it was tested for its validity and reliability. The most important findings of the study: 1 –The role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community has been highly evaluated by the teachers of the public secondary schools in Homs. 2 - There were no statistical significant differences in the average rate of teachers' responses on the role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community according to the variable of sex. 3– There were statistical significant differences in the average rate of teachers' responses on the role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community according to the variable of years of teaching experience for teachers with high record of years of experience.
The Research aims to investigate the administrators and teachers opinion in the degree of having of Planning Competencies of Schools Administrators of the Basic Teaching (Level two), and to study the different of such opinions according to variable s (the functional name, scientific and educational qualification, expertness).The sample included (262) Administrators and Teachers for the academic year 2014/2015. To achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire composed was designed including (70) items included competencies planning; distributed to the six areas (planning to courses, Planning to Time Management, Planning to Educational outputs, human resource management, material and finances management, Planning to Management communication of the community. The final results showed that possession the Planning Competencies were middle rated, the results did not show statistical significance differences among sample answers averages in possession the Planning Competencies according to the variables of expertness, but there are found statistically significant differences according to the variable functional name in favor of the schools administrators, also according to the variable of scientific and educational qualification in favor of the diploma educational qualification and postgraduate study. The Research suggestions to building measurement for Planning Competencies, and doing training courses before joining scholastic job.
