سعى البحث الحالي لمعرفة طبيعة اتجاهات عينة من مدرسي المدارس الثانوية العامة نحو التقاعد المبكر، و هل تختلف هذه الاتجاهات باختلاف متغيرات البحث، إذ بلغ عدد أفراد عينة الدراسة ( 399 ) مدرساً و مدرسة، و استخدم الباحث في الدراسة الحالية
مقياساً للاتجاه نحو التقاعد المبكر، بعد أن تم التحقق من صدقه و ثباته بالطرق العلمية المناسبة.
أهم نتائج البحث:
إن ترتيب الأسباب التي تدفع المدرس نحو التقاعد المبكر كما يأتي: الصحية، المادية، النفسية، الاجتماعية، الوظيفية.
توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في اتجاهات أفراد العينة نحو التقاعد المبكر تبعاً لمتغير الجنس، إذ تبين أن الإناث أكثر ميلاً نحو التقاعد المبكر.
لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في اتجاهات أفراد العينة نحو التقاعد المبكر تبعاً لمتغير المؤهل العلمي.
The present research sought to find out the attitudes of a sample of teachers of public secondary schools towards early retirement, and to what extent these attitudes differ according to the research variables.
The number of the study sample consisted of teachers. (399) The researcher used a measure of the attitude towards early retirement which was tested for its valuably and veniality

There are significant differences in the attitudes of respondents
towards early retirement due to the variable of sex, as it shows that females are more inclined towards early retirement.
