The Orientations of Teachers towards Democratic School Administration: A Field Study in Lattakia City

As a result of research, one can conclude that there are many differences between the attitudes of teachers in the suburb and the city towards school management. The relationship between school managers and teachers in the suburb is so friendly and warmly than the relationship between them in the city. This will definitely affect the attitudes of teachers toward the school administration. There are also many differences between the attitudes of male and female teachers and towards the school administration, because women always tend to do their best, but sometimes her thoughts don't accord with the school manger's thoughts. This will in turn create a gap between their thoughts and points of view. As a result, female teachers' attitude toward the school administration will be affected. As we know the school administration has a significant impact on activating the role of teachers, as it will always stand behind any failure or success.It represents the educational goals and policy and has the responsibility of translating them to real work. School mangers with strong personality have the power to positively affecttheir teachers. They also play a seminal rolein achieving the main goals of their schools. So, the success of the school depends on the way it is managed, and the general system of any school is related with the quality of the manger and the way the school is being managed.

The Role of School Management in Enhancing the Relationship between School and the Local Community in Public Secondary Schools according to the Teachers' Viewpoint in Homs

The research has aimed to identify the role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community in Homs and knowing the different responses of teachers participating in the research depending on the two criteria of (sex , years of teaching experience) . The sample consisted of (303) male and female teachers who have been chosen randomly from the schools of Homs city. The researcher has followed the Descriptive approach in her survey and she has used a questionnaire kind of survey as a means to achieve the objectives of the research after it was tested for its validity and reliability. The most important findings of the study: 1 –The role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community has been highly evaluated by the teachers of the public secondary schools in Homs. 2 - There were no statistical significant differences in the average rate of teachers' responses on the role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community according to the variable of sex. 3– There were statistical significant differences in the average rate of teachers' responses on the role of school management in maintaining the relationship between the school and the local community according to the variable of years of teaching experience for teachers with high record of years of experience.

Management of General Secondary Schools, According to the Concept of Total Quality from the Perspective of Teachers ''A Field Study in Public Secondary Schools of the City of Lattakia''

The research aims to detect the possibility of secondary schools management in the city of Lattakia, according to total quality management from the perspective of teachers, And to know the differences in attitudes towards management of secondary schools, according to the concept of total quality depending on the following variables (sex, educational qualification, years of teaching experience). To achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire composed was designed including (72) items distributed to the seven areas (scholar strategic planning, the quality of teaching and learning processes, Educational Evaluation, openness to the community, educational leadership actors, organizational culture in the school, and information management at the school). The questionnaire was conducted on a sample of (278) teachers, with (18%) percentage for the academic year 2014-2015. Validity of the questionnaire was established though a jury of (7) of the teaching staff of educational at Damascus and Tishreen Universities and the Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.7).

The availability of emotional intelligence among secondary school managers in Lattakia

This research aims to identify the level of emotional intelligence among secondary school's directors in Lattakia, and study the differences between them at this level depending on variables: sex, academic qualification, and years of experience. This research adopted the descriptive and analytical approach. The research community included all secondary school's directors in Lattakia, totaling 167directors. due to the small size of the research community The research sample consisted Statistical original community after an exclusion (10) directors, Exploratory study was done and therefore Questionnaire was distributed to (157) school's directors, and (146) complete and valid questionnaire for statistical analysis Return in response rate 92.99%.

درجة استخدام مديري المدارس الثانوية في محافظة جرش لأسلوب العلاقات الإنسانية في الإدارة المدرسية من وجهة نظر معلميهم

هدف البحث إلى التعرف على درجة استخدام مديري المدارس الثانوية في محافظة جرش لأسلوب العلاقات الإنسانية في الإدارة المدرسية من وجهة نظر معلميهم، و علاقة ذلك ببعض المتغيرات: الجنس، و المؤهل العلمي، و الخبرة العملية، و تكونت عينة البحث من ( 264 ) معلماً و معلمة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية من المدارس الثانوية في محافظة جرش، و استخدم الباحثون استبانه لقياس درجة الاستخدام تكونت من ( 33 ) فقرة، و استخدمت الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة لتحليل المعلومات. و أشارت نتائج البحث إلى أن درجة استخدام مديري المدارس الثانوية في محافظة جرش لأسلوب العلاقات الإنسانية في الإدارة المدرسية من وجهة نظر معلميهم كانت ضمن مستوى الاستخدام المتوسط بمتوسط حسابي بلغ ( 3.37 )، و أوضحت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس و المؤهل العلمي و الخبرة العملية. و في ضوء نتائج البحث قدم الباحثون مجموعة من التوصيات التي يؤمل أن تفيد واضعي السياسة التربوية في الأردن من أجل تحسين جوانب العمل في مهنة التعليم و ضرورة التركيز على العلاقات الإنسانية في التعامل داخل المدرسة.

The Role of School Administration in Health Education in Basic Education Schools in Lattakia City

This study aimed to assessing the role of school administration in health education in basic education schools in Lattakia city. The researcher used analytical descriptive method. The questionnaire was used to collect the study data from 30 principals, who were chosen by using simple random sample. The findings indicated that the degree of the role of the school administration in health education in basic education schools of Lattakia city was low average as a whole is (2.42). The degree in achieving the means of health and safety was low average is (2.58), securing good environment suitable for good nutrition was low average is (2.25), and health culture was the lowest average is (2.10). Where achieving hygiene was the highest average is (2.78). This study recommended exploiting and following the applying of the health education programs. Developing the health culture programs of the school pupils and activating the role of health guide in school health field by holding seminars, training courses and sessions.

The study aimed to identify the role of the school management in the promotion of national belonging among teachers and pupils, and the extent of the practice of school administration for this role, and the disclosure of the differences between the study sample about the contribution of the school administration in the promotion of national belonging among teachers and pupils and the exercise of this role.
