The research aims to study the reality of information infrastructure in October, including the University of libraries contained in both paper and electronic networks and laboratories, and the study of information awareness to undergraduate students
at this university.
The researcher used descriptive analytical method, and relying on random sampling and stratified proportional distribution is the distribution of the research sample the (397) students on university faculties, and using appropriate statistical methods was reached following results:
1- The results showed that the level of information awareness, and effective use of information among undergraduate students at the University of October is generally a high level, but there is limited variation at this level also showed differences and test results mean coefficient values.
2- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students between faculties of Tishreen University.
3- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students caused by the number of skilled languages.
Batteries are energy storage devices that are particularly useful for powering
small portable devices like phones, laptops and entertainment devices as well as
mobility devices that travel over the earth's surface, through water and air. During the
night, or during a period of low solar irradiation, energy is supplied to the load from
the battery in solar electrical Power Systems, and that provides Continuity of power
supply, and on the other hand boosts the Reliability of the system.
The Research aims to investigate the administrators and teachers opinion in the
degree of having of Planning Competencies of Schools Administrators of the Basic
Teaching (Level two), and to study the different of such opinions according to variable
s
(the functional name, scientific and educational qualification, expertness). The sample
included (262) Administrators and Teachers for the academic year 2014/2015. To achieve
the objectives of the research, a questionnaire composed was designed including (70) items
included competencies planning; distributed to the six areas (planning to courses, Planning
to Time Management, Planning to Educational outputs, human resource management,
material and finances management, Planning to Management communication of the
community.
The final results showed that possession the Planning Competencies were middle
rated, the results did not show statistical significance differences among sample answers
averages in possession the Planning Competencies according to the variables of expertness,
but there are found statistically significant differences according to the variable functional
name in favor of the schools administrators, also according to the variable of scientific and
educational qualification in favor of the diploma educational qualification and postgraduate
study. The Research suggestions to building measurement for Planning
Competencies, and doing training courses before joining scholastic job.
Syria suffers from severe water deficiency that will worsen in the future due to
limited water resources and increasing demand for water, especially in agriculture. Syrian
water resources, available from various sources, are estimated by 14.6 billi
on cubic
kilometers, while the estimated demand for water in 2010 was about 14.09 billion cubic
meters, it will rise to about 17 billion cubic meters in 2020 recording a water gap estimated
at 5 billion cubic meters. In order to bridge this gap it was necessary to work on managing
the demand on water according to the criteria of efficiency and rationalization of the use of
water. Indeed, results showed that drip irrigation saves a proportion in the amount of water
used per hectare up to more than 50%, achieving efficiency up to 85% compared with 59%
efficiency for flood irrigation.
Solar and wind energy is considered as one of the best renewable energy resources
because it Available and economical . We can take advantage of these two resources of
renewable energy in Katina area in Homs for designing and building a bilateral r
esources
(solar-wind) electric power system, depending on the daily bending of the wind speed and
the solar radiation intensity in the studied area.
This research studies the design of a hybrid wind and solar system by selecting its
components that available in the local market in terms of their nominal, technical
specifications, based on the technical and economic studies and the corresponding
international standards. The obtained results showed that we have approximately (1246.7
Kw/Year) surplus during the year for the benefit of consumers, which makes the system
economically feasible for investment, as explained in research needs an additional resource
to feed the load and charge the energy-savings with (3360.2 w/day) that constituting (50.4
%) of the volume of the load in addition to the practical results provides a theoretical
database, whether for the researcher or the investor in the field of renewable energies,
particularly in terms of the efficiency of selecting the system’s components.
This study concentrates on two basic problems:i)- Increasing of power
efficiency in Industrial premises to reduce the energy needed for product
unit without any impact on the production level .
To achieve this goal, lighting system should be opera
ted in a certain
condition, capacitor banks for power factor improvement should be
installed, and energy losses of distribution transformers should be reduced.
This study describes the improvement of the reliability and effectiveness of the
straight flow used in piston compressors, valves, and by modeling the flow of gas and the
movement of plate valve. This model distributes the gas pressure and distorti
ons plate
valve as a flexible plate to be determined.
This modeling test gas flow through the valve in the static measurements in addition
to dynamic measurements of the end plate valve movement in the compressor has
checksum where the comparison between numerical results and experimental results
measured.
This research aims to identify the relationship of the institutional
culture efficient and effective administrative reform process in the
public sector institutions. Where it was introduced the concept of
institutional culture and the concept of a
dministrative reform of the
efficiency and effectiveness angle, and then we dealt with the
reflection of these concepts on the ground in a number of the Syrian
public institutions. The main results of this research is the existence
of a relationship between corporate culture and the effectiveness
and efficiency of the administrative reform. Also shows a
difference between the averages of the opinions of the respondents
about the institutional culture in their impact on the effectiveness of
the administrative reform, while there are no significant differences
between the averages of the opinions of individual differences
sample about institutional culture in their impact on the efficiency
of the administrative reform.
The outsourcing of teaching at university colleges is a growing but
still limited practice. But, as a result of lack of faculty members, in
some colleges or graduate institutes in the public universities, resort
to employing this manner to fill th
is gap. Accordingly, this research
has dealt with the importance and areas of outsourcing by using
descriptive and analytical approach studying the case of the Higher
Institute for Management Development. The analyse show that the
growing use of outsourcing often reduces the quality. Among the
most important results of the study, the lack of correlation between
outsourcing of teaching and the efficiency and effectiveness of the
Institute, and the lack of meaningful significant differences between
teachers in the efficiency and effectiveness of the Institute to use the
method of outsourcing to teach attributable to the variables
(workplace experience and scientific rank). While there are
differences among teachers due to the variable age.
This research introduce a detailed study of designing high efficiency
100W DC-DC Boost Converter for standalone photovoltaic system
and practical implementation of it’s circuit, by selecting the best
elements with less loss in power in the tow des
igns,to reach the best
efficiency by theoretical calculations and simulation in ORCA, and
compare the results with the practical implementation. Also this
research shows a study of effect of frequency variation on the
efficiency of the converter.
