The current research aims to identify the self-esteem and its relationship to the quality of life among the students of sections of psychology and psychological counseling in the College of Education at the University of Damascus, according to the va riables of gender (male, female), and a course of study (psychology, psychological counseling (to identify the relationship between self-esteem and quality life in a sample search I have been using a measure of the quality of life for the students of the University of preparation (and forgotten Kazim 2006) and a measure of self-esteem, Dr. preparation (fruit Jaafar 2007). The number of members of the sample as a whole (100), including 50 of the students in the Department of Psychology and (50) students in the Department of Psychological Guidance. The study found the following results: 1- No correlation statistically significant differences between the quality of life and self-esteem among the members of the research sample. 2- There were no differences by sex in the quality of life. 3- There are no differences depending on the specialization course in quality of life. 4- There were no differences by sex in self-esteem. 5- There are no differences depending on the specialization course in self-esteem.
The research aims to studying the relationship the depression to self esteem in second grade secondary in Homas, and to study the differences in depression in the research variables(sex, specialization), and to study the differences in self esteem i n the research variables(sex, specialization). students from the second grade secondary. and it was used the following tools: 1 - a measure –Blal Alkhateeb- 2 - Beck measure of depression, after that she has tested reliability, It was followed the descriptive analytical method.
This study aimed to identify social anxiety and its relationship with self-esteem of pupils in the first stage of basic education in the city of Homs, and know the difference of sexes in their performance on each of the social anxiety scale and th e self-esteem scale; to achieve these goals has been applied study consisting of 426 sample male and female, from the first stage of basic education pupils, the use of SPSS17 computer program to find averages, "ttest",and correlation coefficients.
This study aims at investigating the relationship between self-efficacy and learning disabilities among the stuednts who have learning disabilities; the study applied the tools of (self-efficacy test learning disabilities tests) on a sample of 21 m ale students 16 female students. The results of the study indicated that there was a Artbatih test scores between the self-efficacy and learning disabilities test in a sample of students; the study also found that there are no differences between the averages of the scores of (male and female) students in self-efficacy and learning disabilities measure, and finally reached the conclusion that the components of self-efficacy (Achievement and positive Confrontation to the life positions)predict learning disabilities students.
This study aims to extract the psychometric properties of the adult edition of Toulouse self-esteem scale. The scale was translated from French to Arabic and it was introduced to a set of Arabic language specialists to ensure good paraphrasing, and then it was re-translated to the original language (French) to ensure the accuracy of the translation. The Scale was implemented on a random sample consisting of 500 adults in Latakia city. The study results indicate a high level of validity of the scale and high degree scale of reliability identical with the statistical indicators to of the French version of the scale. Subsequently a series of hypotheses was tested which showed that there was no difference between male and female means degrees on the scale except the social self field. Also, it was found that there are statistical differences by educational level of respondents in favor of postgraduate and graduate degrees. The differences on scale dimensions according to the taxonomic variables (gender and educational level) were studied too. The research suggested further studies on the scale in different environments and the necessity to be used in educational and psychological fields.
This research aims to reveal the relationship between moral intelligence and selfesteem among a sample of third-year students in the College of Education and Engineering Informatics at the University of Damascus, also it aims to find out the differ ences between third-year students in the College of Education and Engineering Informatics at the University of Damascus in moral intelligence and self-esteem depending on the variable Specialization (psychological counseling, Informatics Engineering), and variable sex (male and female), has formed research sample of 310 students from the third year students in the College of Education and Engineering Informatics at the University of Damascus, distributors to (72) to guide myself and (238) Engineering Informatics, randomly selected class of the College of Education and Informatics Engineering at Damascus University. The measure applied to them moral intelligence and a measure of self-esteem of the researcher after the Pttbaiqama the exploratory sample confirmed Sedkhma and Thbathma.

The research concluded to suggest the need for further studies on the scale in different environments and the need of using it in educational and psychological fields.
The study aimed to identify the relationship between intelligence and achievement motivation and self-esteem, and gender differences in IQ and achievement motivation and self-esteem among a sample basic third-graders, has reached 105 students "and pupils in schools in the province of Homs, data were collected using the test fee guy (from preparation presence nose) and a measure of self Children estimate (prepared by Cooper Smith and the translation of Farouk Abdel-Fattah and Mohamed Ahmed Desouki) and test achievement motivation (preparation Harmanz and translation Abdel Fattah Musa), and resulted in the results of the current study, the presence of a positive correlation between intelligence and achievement motivation and self-esteem and the existence of gender differences in intelligence and self-esteem in favor of males, and the lack of .gender differences in achievement motivation.
The present study aimed to extract the Indicators of Validity and Reliability of the Toulouse Self-Esteem Scale - Children's Copy. The Scale was translated from French to Arabic and presented to a group of Arabic language specialists to ensure that the wording is correct, after which a counter-translation into the original language (French) was performed to ensure the accuracy of the translation. The scale was applied to a random sample of 413 children in Lattakia. The results of the study showed a high level of accuracy with a high degree of stability (repeatability of 0.776 and alpha-cronbach 0.81 ), identical to the statistical indicators of the Scale in its French version. A hypothesis was then tested as to whether there was a difference between the average male and female scores on the scale. It was found that there was a difference on the macro scale, the dimensions of social self-sufficiency and school self-interest for females. And 71.4% of individuals are at the high level of self-esteem. The research concluded that more studies on the scale should be carried out in different settings and should be used in the fields of education and psychology
This study aimed to know the relationship between life Satisfaction and self-esteem among students of faculty of education students- Damascus University and whether there exist any significant differences between the means of life satisfaction and self-esteem degrees with respect to male and female variables and between first and fifth years students.
