The research aims to define cognitive thinking skills included
in social studies curricula (pupil,s book+ teacher,s book) according
to Sternberg, distribution to the basic third grade, for that
researcher designed a list of cognitive thinking skil
ls must included
in curricula,s content, it consists of: (8) main skills, (20) skills, and
(29) evidence significant skills, and used this list in analizing
content of social studies curricula that is research, sample.
The study aimed to identify the relationship between intelligence
and achievement motivation and self-esteem, and gender differences
in IQ and achievement motivation and self-esteem among a sample
basic third-graders, has reached 105 students "and
pupils in schools
in the province of Homs, data were collected using the test fee guy
(from preparation presence nose) and a measure of self Children
estimate (prepared by Cooper Smith and the translation of Farouk
Abdel-Fattah and Mohamed Ahmed Desouki) and test achievement

of a positive correlation between intelligence and achievement

in intelligence and self-esteem in favor of males, and the lack of
