this study aims Specifying the level of adjusting with university life among the
students of the University of Al-Furat hosted at Tishreen University after leaving their
mother university due to the current security conditions experienced by Syria
through some
variables such as gender , study specialization and place of residence. In order to answer
the study questions and verify their hypotheses, the researcher applied a measure of
adjusting with university life on a sample of the students of the University of Al-Furat who
were hosted at Tishreen University. The number of students in the sample (332) , The
results of the study showed the following: The social adjusting came in first place and the
psychological adjusting In the second place and the academicadjusting in the third place,
and there are differences of statistical significance in the axis of psychological adjusting
according to gender variable and these differences in favor of females, while there were no
differences in the axes of social and academic adjusting according to gender variable, and
the research there are differences of statistical significance in the axis of social adjusting
The differences were found in favor of the humanitarian faculties, while there were no
differences in the pivotal psychological and academic adjusting. There were also
statistically significant differences in the level of psychological adjusting between the
students according to the variable of the place of residence, The differences were found in
favor Of those( who live in the houses with the family),There is relationship statistically
significant correlation betweenaxes The adjusting with university life and variables(gender,
academic specialization, the place stay). This study offered some propositions.
This study aimed at investigating future anxiety and its relationship with the
psychological stress on a sample of Tishreen University students. Furthermore, the study
attempted to explore whether students differ according to their gender in the fu
ture anxiety
and the psychological stress.
The sample comprised of (188) students: (95 male and 93 female). In order to
achieve the goals of this study the Inventory of University Students’ Anxiety Future was
constructed. The final version of the scale consisted of (28) items. And the Inventory of
University Students’ Sources of psychological stress was constructed, the final version of
the scale consisted of (60) items. The results showed: there are correlation statistically
significant between the future anxiety and the psychological stress. The results also
indicated to significant differences (α≤ 0.05) between males and females means in the
psychological stress, and its indicated to no differences between males and females in the
future anxiety.
The aim of this study is to investigate the level of selfefficacy
and the type of goal orientation at college student's
and the relationship between the goal orientation and self –
efficacy beliefs.
Data was gathered through the scales" self-effi
cacy scales,
and goal orientation scale " from (162) random sample of
male and female student's of education college student's.
This study aimed at identifying the perceptions of university postgraduate students with regard to the factorial structure related to the perceived professional competencies for the educational counselor. The researcher employed the descriptive corre
lation method, and the instrument was developed so as to measure the professional competencies for the educational counselor; the content validity as well as the reliability for the instrument were verified. The study sample consisted of (175) male and female students from the students of postgraduate studies at Mu'tah University and Students for in Israa Private university.
This research aims to reveal the relationship between moral intelligence and selfesteem
among a sample of third-year students in the College of Education and Engineering
Informatics at the University of Damascus, also it aims to find out the differ
ences between
third-year students in the College of Education and Engineering Informatics at the
University of Damascus in moral intelligence and self-esteem depending on the variable
Specialization (psychological counseling, Informatics Engineering), and variable sex (male
and female), has formed research sample of 310 students from the third year students in the
College of Education and Engineering Informatics at the University of Damascus,
distributors to (72) to guide myself and (238) Engineering Informatics, randomly selected
class of the College of Education and Informatics Engineering at Damascus University.
The measure applied to them moral intelligence and a measure of self-esteem of the
researcher after the Pttbaiqama the exploratory sample confirmed Sedkhma and Thbathma.
This study aimed at investigating Tishreen university students’ psychological stress
sources.
Furthermore, the study attempted to explore whether students differ according to
their gender, their academic specializations.
The sample of this study
comprised of (200) students: (100 male and 100 female). In
order to achieve the goals of this study the Inventory of University Students’ Sources of
psychological stress was constructed. The final version of the scale consisted of (60) items.
These items distributed in seven dimensions: family stress, economic stress, personal
stress, security stress, social stress, and environment of the learning stress.
The results showed that most areas of the psychological stress is security, and least
influential in them are social stress.
The results also indicated to significant differences (α≤ 0.05) between males and
females means in the social, personal, family, and the economic domains.
according to the variable students’ academic specializations, the results showed no
differences statistically function (0.05 "≥α) between the students.
The research defines the role of TV talk shows in strengthening participation in
social activities in a sample of students at the University of Damascus and know denoting
differences in the answers of the research sample to identify the role of tal
k shows and the
identification of individuals and social activities according to research variables (gender,
type of university specialization, and school year). The researcher adopted an analytical
descriptive approach and used the research tool: (a measure of social activities). The
research sample included 484 male and female students in the faculties of economics,
education and medicine at the University of Damascus.
Among the most important findings of the research:
1) The role of talk shows in strengthening the participation in social activities among
a sample of Damascus University students moderately reached the relative weight
(65.87%).
2) The lack of statistical significance between the mean differences in answers to
members of the research sample to identify social activities in accordance with the variable
of sex.
3) The lack of statistical significance between the mean differences in answers to
members of the research sample to identify social activities in accordance with the type of
a variable of university specialization.
4) No statistically significant differences between the mean of the answers of the
research sample to identify members of the social activities of the school year in
accordance with the variable of the fourth year students.
The research aims to:
- Learn about the degree of Hesitation on the social networking sites with students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus.
- Learn about common social problems among students of the Faculty of Education
at the University of Damascus.
- Learn about the relationship between the Hesitation of social networking sites and social problems.
- Know the significance differences in the answers to the research sample to identify Hesitation of social networking sites and measure social problems according to the members of the search variables: (number of years of Hesitation on the social networking sites, the number of hours of use).
And adopted a researcher on the analytical method, and used two tools Search: (Hesitation questionnaire on social networking sites, and the measure of social problems). The research sample included 400 students in the College of Education at the University of Damascus.
Among the most important findings of the research:
1) there is a positive correlation statistically significant differences between Hesitation of social networking sites and social problems at Damascus University students.
2) there are significant differences between the average sample answers to a questionnaire on the Hesitation of social networking sites members according to the use of variable years networking for the benefit of students who were using networks since a period of 5 years or more.
3) the presence of statistically significant differences between the average answers the research sample differences on a scale of social problems, according to a variable-year frequency networking sites for the benefit of students who were using communication networks, since a period of 5 years or more.

التربية/جامعة دمشق، تعلموا من خلال الصفوف التقليدية و باستخدام الطرائق التقليدية.
