The current research aims to identify the self-esteem and its relationship to the quality of life among the students of sections of psychology and psychological counseling in the College of Education at the University of Damascus, according to the va riables of gender (male, female), and a course of study (psychology, psychological counseling (to identify the relationship between self-esteem and quality life in a sample search I have been using a measure of the quality of life for the students of the University of preparation (and forgotten Kazim 2006) and a measure of self-esteem, Dr. preparation (fruit Jaafar 2007). The number of members of the sample as a whole (100), including 50 of the students in the Department of Psychology and (50) students in the Department of Psychological Guidance. The study found the following results: 1- No correlation statistically significant differences between the quality of life and self-esteem among the members of the research sample. 2- There were no differences by sex in the quality of life. 3- There are no differences depending on the specialization course in quality of life. 4- There were no differences by sex in self-esteem. 5- There are no differences depending on the specialization course in self-esteem.
This exploratory study concluded that the level of basic thinking skills among the sample’s members is low. These findings were the basis of the study in hands, and encouraged the researcher to investigate them, since basic thinking skills are es sentials traits for the students in order for them to develop critical and creative thinking skills as well as higher thinking skills, which affects positively their academic achievements.
The personality constitutes a set of traits and characteristics that distinguish each individual from others. The human personality is distinct and different from one person to another, and each personality has a set of traits that determine its characteristics, weaknesses, strengths, flexibility and ability to conform.
استهدفت الدراسة الحالية التحقق من فاعلية العلاج بالمعنى فى تحسين جودة الحياة لدى عينة من الشباب الجامعى واشتملت عينة الدراسة على (20) من طلاب كلية التربية ببنها تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين : مجموغة تجريبية ومجموعة ضابطة قوام كل مجموعة (10) من الذكور والإ ناث وقد استخدم الباحث الأدوات التالية: 1- استمارة المقابلة الشخصية اعداد / الباحث 2- مقياس جودة الحياة اعداد / الباحث . 3- برنامج العلاج بالمعنى اعداد / الباحث . وأسفرت الدراسة نتائج على : 1- وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين متوسطات رتب درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسط رتب درجات طلاب المجموعة الضايطة على مقياس جودة الحياة لصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية . 2- وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين متوسط رتب درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية على مقياس جودة الحياة فى القياس القبلى والبعدى لصالح القياس البعدى . 3- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين متوسط رتب درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية فى القياس البعدى ومتوسط رتب درجات نفس المجموعة بعد فترة المتابعة على مقياس جودة الحياة . وتم تفسير نتائج الدراسة فى ضوء الإطار النظرى والدراسات السابقة مما يعكس فاعلية العلاج بالمعنى فى تحسين جودة الحياة لدى عينة من الشباب الجامعى مع إستمرار فاعلية التحسن بعد فترة المتابعة بعد أربعة شهور .

This study aimed to identify the level of belief in school justice and its relation with the level of social and psychological skills and academic achievement among students of primary and secondary government schools in Tulkarm region. For this purp ose the researchers used a scale of belief in school justice consists of (24) items distributed equally into three domains: School administration justice, laws and regulations justice, and teachers' justice. The study sample consisted of (425) male and female students. Results showed that students' estimates of the level of belief in school justice was medium in general, and on the total scale and sub-domains of the scale, results showed no statistically significant of differences in the level of belief in school justice among students primary and secondary due to sex variable. On the other hand, results showed a statistically significant differences in the level of belief in school justice among students of primary and secondary education due to the level of education variable, and on the total scale of the school justice, and laws and regulations and teacher's justice domains. while results showed that there is no statistically significant differences on the domain of school of administration justice. There is a statistically significant positive correlation between the belief in school justice level among primary and secondary students and the level of social, psychological and academic achievement of them, on the total and sub-domains of the scale.

The study aims to identify the level of psychosocial development for many ordinary and orphaned children, the effect of gender and the situation of the child [orphaned or ordinary] on the psychosocial development. method was used to a chive that the analytical and descriptive. The researcher prepared a scale of psychosocial development in his dimensions [self- confidence, independence, initiative, achievement] and it has been confirmed to be true and proven. The sample used consists of [101] children from the fifth and sixth grade, in Latakia city. The results show that the sample has a moderate level of psychosocial growth in the dimensions of [self confidence and independence] and in above average in the dimensions of [initiative, achievement]. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females in levels of psychosocial development. But statistically significant differences in levels of psychical development scores between the means score of orphaned children and the mean scores of ordinary children in favor of ordinary children
