The research aims to study the reality of information infrastructure in October, including the University of libraries contained in both paper and electronic networks and laboratories, and the study of information awareness to undergraduate students at this university. The researcher used descriptive analytical method, and relying on random sampling and stratified proportional distribution is the distribution of the research sample the (397) students on university faculties, and using appropriate statistical methods was reached following results: 1- The results showed that the level of information awareness, and effective use of information among undergraduate students at the University of October is generally a high level, but there is limited variation at this level also showed differences and test results mean coefficient values. 2- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students between faculties of Tishreen University. 3- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students caused by the number of skilled languages.
Batteries are energy storage devices that are particularly useful for powering small portable devices like phones, laptops and entertainment devices as well as mobility devices that travel over the earth's surface, through water and air. During the night, or during a period of low solar irradiation, energy is supplied to the load from the battery in solar electrical Power Systems, and that provides Continuity of power supply, and on the other hand boosts the Reliability of the system.
Introduction:The nurse manager role and how it is carried out in healthcare organizations has been an important topic which had emphasized by many international organizations and institutions during the past two decades. Thus, this role had impact on nursing staff, other healthcare providers, patients and on healthcare environment as whole. To carry out her duties, nurse manager needs to build up and improve her personal skills and leadership competencies continuously. This by depending on international competency standards which developed by international organizations and institutions to be the basic to assess and improve nurse managers competency. Depending on these standards, this study was conducted and aimed to assess nurse managers' competency in implementing international competency standards in Al- Assad university hospital and Al- Wattany hospital at Lattakia. Thestudy was conducted on Al- Assad university and Al- Wattany hospitals at Lattakia. Whereas, The study sample consisted of 21 nurse managers , and 80 nurses from two hospitals. The main results ofthis study was that there was agreement between nurses 'viewpoints and nurse managers' viewpoint in both hospitals on nurse managers' implementation of international competencies standards.
Syria suffers from severe water deficiency that will worsen in the future due to limited water resources and increasing demand for water, especially in agriculture. Syrian water resources, available from various sources, are estimated by 14.6 billi on cubic kilometers, while the estimated demand for water in 2010 was about 14.09 billion cubic meters, it will rise to about 17 billion cubic meters in 2020 recording a water gap estimated at 5 billion cubic meters. In order to bridge this gap it was necessary to work on managing the demand on water according to the criteria of efficiency and rationalization of the use of water. Indeed, results showed that drip irrigation saves a proportion in the amount of water used per hectare up to more than 50%, achieving efficiency up to 85% compared with 59% efficiency for flood irrigation.
This research aims to identify the relationship of the institutional culture efficient and effective administrative reform process in the public sector institutions. Where it was introduced the concept of institutional culture and the concept of a dministrative reform of the efficiency and effectiveness angle, and then we dealt with the reflection of these concepts on the ground in a number of the Syrian public institutions. The main results of this research is the existence of a relationship between corporate culture and the effectiveness and efficiency of the administrative reform. Also shows a difference between the averages of the opinions of the respondents about the institutional culture in their impact on the effectiveness of the administrative reform, while there are no significant differences between the averages of the opinions of individual differences sample about institutional culture in their impact on the efficiency of the administrative reform.
The outsourcing of teaching at university colleges is a growing but still limited practice. But, as a result of lack of faculty members, in some colleges or graduate institutes in the public universities, resort to employing this manner to fill th is gap. Accordingly, this research has dealt with the importance and areas of outsourcing by using descriptive and analytical approach studying the case of the Higher Institute for Management Development. The analyse show that the growing use of outsourcing often reduces the quality. Among the most important results of the study, the lack of correlation between outsourcing of teaching and the efficiency and effectiveness of the Institute, and the lack of meaningful significant differences between teachers in the efficiency and effectiveness of the Institute to use the method of outsourcing to teach attributable to the variables (workplace experience and scientific rank). While there are differences among teachers due to the variable age.
This study aimed to evaluate the training programs that implemented by ministry of Administrative Development in Syria, and their relation with competencies levels through the study of trainee’s points of views. this study was conducted using the fou r components of training program (trainer, trainee, environment and place of training, material of training) and the relation with the levels of competencies (knowledge, experience, skills, behavioral style). The study also included the relation of sex, age, the years of experience and educational qualification categories with training program.
The limitations of global resources of fossil and nuclear fuel, has necessitated an urgent search for alternative sources of energy. Therefore, a new way has to be found to balance the supply and demand without resorting to coal and gas fuelled ge nerators.Environment safety has become very important for any energy system, Increasing demand of conventional sources has further increases the need and optimizes cost of non-conventional energy sources. This paper has analyzed the development of a method for the mathematical modeling of PV System.behavior of the PV Array with series resistance model are studied in this paper. Included effects are: temperature dependence, solar radiation change, diode ideality factor and series resistance influence, and shows the mathematical modeling of stand-alone PV system and then compare withAnalysis of Perturb and Observe MPPT and without MPPT simulation of photovoltaic modules with Matlab/Simulink, And Calculate the increase in efficiency resulting from the use of technology MPPT.
