In this research, the effect of different concentrations of Lavender oil on the growth of was studied Fusarium oxysporum،Acremonium strictum and all studied concentrations showed a clear inhibitory effect against this fungus. The inhibitory activity v aried according to the different concentrations The concentrations (0.06-0.04-0.03-0.02-0.01 ml/g) ) showed 100% inhibition against A. strictum and the inhibition percentage was 64.51% at 0.002ml/g and 58.04% ،35.48% 12.9at a concentration of (0.004،0.002،0.001 ml/g) on the seventh day of incubation. The concentrations (0.06-0.04-0.03-0.02-0.01-0.006-0.004-0.002 ml/g) showed 100% inhibition against Fusarium oxysporum and the inhibition percentage was38.82% at 0.001ml/g on the seventh day of incubation. The inhibitory activity varied according to the different concentrations (0.06-0.04-0.03-0.02-0.01-0.006-0.002-0.001 ml/g) ) showed 100% inhibition against A. strictum and the inhibition The lethal concentration (MBC) value of Lavender oil against A. strictum was 0.01 ml/g And the inhibitory concentration (MIC) was 0.02 ml/g while the inhibitory concentration (MIC)and the lethal concentration (MBC) against F.oxysporum were 0.002 ml/g
Automated source code summarization is a popular software engineering research topic wherein machine translation models are employed to translate'' code snippets into relevant natural language descriptions. Most evaluations of such models are conduct ed using automatic reference-based metrics. However, given the relatively large semantic gap between programming languages and natural language, we argue that this line of research would benefit from a qualitative investigation into the various error modes of current state-of-the-art models. Therefore, in this work, we perform both a quantitative and qualitative comparison of three recently proposed source code summarization models. In our quantitative evaluation, we compare the models based on the smoothed BLEU-4, METEOR, and ROUGE-L machine translation metrics, and in our qualitative evaluation, we perform a manual open-coding of the most common errors committed by the models when compared to ground truth captions. Our investigation reveals new insights into the relationship between metric-based performance and model prediction errors grounded in an error taxonomy that can be used to drive future research efforts.
This paper introduces our neural machine translation systems' participation in the WAT 2021 shared translation tasks (team ID: sakura). We participated in the (i) NICT-SAP, (ii) Japanese-English multimodal translation, (iii) Multilingual Indic, and ( iv) Myanmar-English translation tasks. Multilingual approaches such as mBART (Liu et al., 2020) are capable of pre-training a complete, multilingual sequence-to-sequence model through denoising objectives, making it a great starting point for building multilingual translation systems. Our main focus in this work is to investigate the effectiveness of multilingual finetuning on such a multilingual language model on various translation tasks, including low-resource, multimodal, and mixed-domain translation. We further explore a multimodal approach based on universal visual representation (Zhang et al., 2019) and compare its performance against a unimodal approach based on mBART alone.
The study aims to estimate the requirements of risk management procedures effectiveness in Syrian banking sector, and exams the existence of these requirements by detecting six factors as the requirements of risk management effectiveness according to the literature. The study used the survey method, the data was collected using a questionnaire developed according to literature review. Fifty questionnaires were send to the employees who work in risk management department in Syrian banks, but only thirty three were received back as an acceptable responses. The data was analyzed using SPSS. This paper showed that the requirements of risk management procedures effectiveness are available in some factors (support from top management, Communication, Information technology ) in banks, and they are not available in others factors( Culture, Organization structure, Training).
This research aims to reduce the possible consumption in CMOS digital circuit type and to develop new methods in this area and get the results of a new process applicable in the field of the development of integrated electronic devices of high inte gration VLSI, has been in this study the possible reduction of consumer dynamic by Reduction Of switching Activit where the researcher changed the architecture of digital circuit on the possible consuming, and she used different combinations of the circuit. the researcher got good results in a manner using the Matlab simulation program where she got reduction of 01%, which helps us to achieve high standards in the design of integrated circuits.
Total of 33 isolates of lactic acid bacteria from different samples (Dairy products, Pickles), were isolated and identified according to the common characteristics of lactic acid bacteria. Twinty-five isolates were rods and 9 were cocci.
40 samples were collected from milk from Homs to isolate the bacteria and study their ability to produce the enzyme β- galactosidase and diagnose isolates the most efficient in the production of the enzyme, the results showed the presence of 25 sporeforming isolates producing the enzyme β-galactosidase , the effectiveness of β-galactosidase was estimated using spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 420 nm.
This research aimed to know how we can evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns in general, then it focused on the most important models; that are used in evaluating this effectiveness depending on consumer’s behavioral response. The ap plication has been applied on the advertising campaign about the energy label in the Syrian television. The questionnaire was designed according to AIDA model; that is used in evaluating advertising effectiveness, and The survey has been done toward the consumers responses; by using a random sample consisted of 387 consumer in lattakia city. The research results were: 1- the advertising campaign achieved the effectiveness in attracting consumer’s attention to it, and in triggering consumer’s interest to its subject. 2- the advertising campaign did not achieve the effectiveness in creating consumer’s desire to buy, and in leading consumer toward action for actual buying ( or thinking to buy in the future ) the electrical appliances according to energy label standard. The research suggested a number of recommendations, that if they are applied, they may be helping in improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns in the future about energy label subject, or about the similar subjects.
The research aimed to identify the level of self-efficacy and types of classroom discipline and the relationship between them for the students teachers in the College of Education at Tartous University. Using the descriptive method to validate the research hypotheses, the sampling consisted of (76) male and female students of the Faculty of Education for the year 2015/2016, a questionnaire of Self-efficacy (Slimon, 2004) was used and along with a questionnaire of the types of classroom discipline(Alharahsheh and alkhawaldeh, 2009) after verifying the validity and reliability, and a statistical program for educational and psychological (spss) was used. The research found the following results: the students teachers had a high level of self-efficacy, as the value of mean reached (3.882) with a standard deviation of (0.541) The classroom discipline types had the following order: The indicative type at first (3.850), then the reprimand type(3.276) and the punitive type came at least (2.910). There is also an extrusive positive correlation between the level of self-efficacy and types of classroom discipline. The Self-efficacy was affected by variable of sex but wasn't affected by variable of secondary certificate. And the type of classroom discipline wasn’t affected by variables: sex, and secondary certificate. The researcher concludes a number of suggestions like: training students teachers on the positive classroom discipline skills, and raise their level of self-efficacy, conducting more studies about the subject.
