Storage is one of the main services provided by the container terminals to its customers. The competition between these terminals is very strong to provide the best services and efficiency that reduces the time of containers in the yards to the low est time. This reflects an increase in productivity and reduction in storage costs, that is very important to the shipping agents, so it had to work on the continuous re-preparation of the yards and transport equipment commensurate with rapid changes and the great development in the number of containers. The study focused on methods of calculating the theoretical storage capacity of the container terminals and applying them to the research terminal and comparing the results with the actual reality and actual productivity of the fully and empty container yards, and the global values of the modern container terminals, and calculation of the values of one of the most important indicators of use, that is the indicators of use of yard which reflects the efficiency of the use of available resources in the yards of the station.

Customer Retention Management (CRM) provides a strong competitive advantage for the organization to stay in the market. It helps management to track customer interactions with the organization and allows employees access to all customer,s previous i nformation; CRM gains its importance by creating a strategic vision to achieve the organization's goals of maintaining customers and reaching loyalty through integration with marketing policies and product development To increase the sales of the organization and to make offers that attract the target customer and interact with him in a way that ensures its preservation. The aim of the study is to define the reality of the application of CRM during the crisis period (2011-2018) in the Syrian private banks in Lattakia, and study the dimensions of customer relationship management in these banks, and then study the impact of these dimensions on the performance indicators that were measured through indicators of profitability, customer complaints, strong relationships with customers, customer satisfaction and loyalty. In order to achieve this, two main hypotheses were formulated. The researcher used the questionnaire technique to collect the data analyzed using statistical tests, the most important of which were the one-sample t. test, and the Pearson Correlation test. The researcher has reached several results, the most important of which is: a good evaluation of the availability of CRM dimensions in the studied banks, and there is a positive relationship between these dimensions and performance.

The purpose of this research is to deduce the basis for calculating the cost of honey bee products since the actual costing of various levels on accurate basis is the right starting point for achieving all the goals of the cost systems. Because the actual cost is the basis of planning, control and reduction of that cost. Lack of information to properly determine product cost may cause choosing unhealthy competitive strategies, and make bad decisions, whether it related to product pricing or product selection. The research objective was reached through an analytical study of previous studies that discussed the economic feasibility of honey bee production projects in a variety of environments. In addition, a field study was carried out on the working beekeeping firms in Lattakia governorate during the period between the month of 11/2017 and the end of the month 8/2018. A number of conclusions were reached on the determinants of the cost of honey bee products, including the need to rely on the variable cost approach in preparing the list of honey product costs, the adoption of the production season as a period for the preparation of this list and a number of conclusions regarding the basis for calculating the depreciation of the assets of the honeybees and classified it as fixed cost which must included in the income statement for the financial cycle which ends at the end of the production seasons on 31/10 of each year.
Container transportation is one of the essential elements of modern ren aissance in shipping business in the world. Due to its extremely important, most countries have focused (especially the developed ones) on development of their maritime fleets and ports, in order to be able to keep up and keep the remarkable development and extremely rapid progress in containerization technology. Port capabilities should be commensurate with the developments in maritime transport fleets and their transport patterns represented by container vessels that require advanced port services such as high efficiency of workers and cranes, and modern and fast performance specialized equipments, and modern electronic systems. The study addressed the basic criteria for the level of services in the container terminals that have been identified in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development UNICTAD 2012, These criteria were applied to Lattakia International Container Terminal (LICT), where the relative waiting time ε and productivity coefficient (P) were calculated for the duration of the ship's stay in the port, and the statistical indicators of the times of ships at the Lattakia International Container Terminal and the container handling rates was studied during the period Extending from 2014 to 2017, The study concluded that the average wait time relative ε achieved the value of 0.0553, which put it at level B which is the second level of four levels, A, B, C, D, in addition to the level B is also achieved by productivity coefficient (P) and the value of 54.4 during the The study period.
This research was conducted in laboratory of Nematology in the Center of Scientific Agricultural Research in Lattakia, to detection of Entomopathogenic Nematodes (EPNs) in Citrus Orchards soils in Lattakia governorate. A total of 66 composite soil samples were collected from Citrus orchards during (2016- 2017). Entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) were recovered from soil samples by the insect baiting technique, using seventh instar larvae of the Greater wax moth Galleria mellonella (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae). Infective juveniles (IJs) were collected from G. mellonella cadavers using the method of White (1927). EPN isolates were identified based on morphometric methods. Eight isolates were identified as Heterorhabditis bacteriophora Poinar 1976 (Ord. Rhabditida: Fam. Heterorhabditidae) . Positive soil samples ratio was 12.12% of total samples, where EPNs isolates were extracted from regions (Al-Bassa, Al-Magreet, Al-Shamia, Gio, Al-Kharnoba, Al-Sorsokia, Fideo, Borj Al-Qasab)0 The soil textures of the EPNs positive samples were (sandy loam, silt loam, loamy sand, loamy clay sand, clay) with ( pH 6.34- :0.5) and (1.99- 4.82) g\100g organic content. The electrical conductivity of the nematode positive soils varied from 0.33 to 0.82 ds/m.
Regional planning is currently one of the pillars of the state and a measure of its development, because planning works to show the current or the future problems, and puts the appropriate solutions. So there is no doubt that the population is the main goal of any planning process by ensuring the various requirements of life for the increasing number of them year after year. Finding adequate housing is therefore one of the first steps in the planning process. The problem of population growth is one of the most prominent problems facing countries at present time. This is evident in city centers, which results in many problems such as informal housing. In this study, we had a spatial study to determine the best location for establishing a new city in order to accommodate the increasing number of population within the Lattakia Governorate (Syrian Arab Republic), and we also achieved a population study in order to determine the future population growth. Geographic information systems (GIS) have proven its efficiency in spatial and descriptive data management and analysis, so they have been relied upon to determine the appropriate places for urban expansion based on a set of criteria collected from a range of research that affect the selection process of these areas, through spatial analysis tools within the GIS software to reach the appropriate areas of expansion to accommodate the expected population growth.
The purpose of the research is to identify the reality of the practice of transparency in its dimensions: accuracy and honesty in providing information, easy access to information, public information, in the General Company of Lattakia Port, and it s role of reducing the manifestations of administrative corruption represented by: combating bribery and limiting the exploitation of the position. The study was based on the descriptive approach. The research society included all the administrative staff in the general company of Lattakia port. The sample of the research is a soft sample of (200) administrative workers, the questionnaires were distributed to them, 177 (complete questionnaire) (88.5%). The results showed that there is a strong and inverse relation between the commitment to transparency and the reduction of administrative corruption in the company under study. 77.9% of the variation in the reduction of administrative corruption is explained by the commitment to transparency. Contribute to the reduction of the manifestations of administrative corruption in the company under study, and this applies to every dimension of transparency (accuracy and honesty in providing information, accessibility of information, public information).
The objective of this study is to assess the reality of the professional commitment of the employees in the private commercial banks in lattakia Governorate, The researchers identified three types of functional commitment, which included both Affec tive commitment, Continuance commitment, and Normative commitment. The researchers distributed a questionnaire to a random sample of 77 workers. Each questionnaire included 24 phrases that measured the three types of commitment. They calculated the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient to measure the stability of the scale, The t-test was used for one sample to test the hypotheses, The researchers found results showing high degrees of functional commitment of all three types, but at varying degrees, where the mean of the responses on the expressions that measured the three types of commitment was Greater than the mean neutrality of the scale.
