هدف البحث الحالي إلى استقصاء مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى أطفال الروضة في مدينة اللاذقية (منخفض، متوسط، مرتفع). لتحقيق هذا الهدف تم اختيار عينة البحث من أطفال الرياض في مدينة اللاذقية الرّسمية و الخاصّة؛ و قد بلغ عدد أفراد العينة (180) طفلاً و طفلة في المرحلة العمرية بين (5-6) سنوات. كما تم سحب العينة بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية و قد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي في بحثها، و تم بناء أداة البحث و هي عبارة عن مقياس لفظي و مُصوَّر للوعي البيئي و ذلك من خلال قيام الباحثة بتطويره ليتلاءم مع الخصائص النّمائيّة لطفل الرّوضة في البيئة السّورية. توصّلت نتائج البحث إلى أنّ مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى أطفال الروضة في مدينة اللّاذقية كان مرتفعاً، و لكن أظهرت النّتائج عدم وجود فرق في مستوى الوعي البيئي تبعاً لمتغيري الجنس و تابعية الروضة.
The study aimed to identify the environmental awareness among the kindergarten children (high, middle, low) in Lattakia city. In order to achieve this objective, the sample of the research of kindergarten children was selected from public and private kindergartens. The number of the sample reached (180) children of the age (5-6) years. This sample was chosen stratified randomly. The researcher used the descriptive method to achieve the objectives of the study. The research tool consisted of a non-verbal environmental awareness scale, which was developed by the researcher to suit the developmental characteristics of the kindergarten child in The Syrian Environment. The study found that the level of the environmental awareness of kindergarten children in Lattakia was high. The results also showed that there were no differences between kindergarten children in their environmental awareness according to gender and kindergarten's own.

The aim of the research was to investigate the level of environmental awareness among
sixth graders’ students in light of the gender variables and the cultural level of the mother.
In order to achieve this goal, the descriptive approach was used, a
nd the "environmental
awareness" scale was prepared. After verifying its validity, it was distributed to a sample of
140 students and students from the sixth grade school in Lattakia in 2017/2018.
The results showed that the level of awareness among the sixth grade students was
average. There were no statistically significant differences among the sixth grade in terms
of environmental awareness due to sex, while there were statistically significant
differences due to the cultural level of the mother in favor of students whose mothers have
university degrees.
The objective of this study is to know the level of psychological stresses of mothers
of children with intellectual disability in Lattakia city. it aimed to find differences in the
psychological stresses according to some variables : mothers educat
ional level, child's
gender , and the child's disability degree. The sample consisted of 34 mothers . The test of
Sertawi& Abdul Aziz (1998) had been used. The results indicated that 14.7% of the
participants experienced high level of psychological stress, 58.8% experienced medium
level and 26.5% didn’t show any symptoms of psychological stresses. The study did not
show any notable differences regarding variables: mothers educational levels, child's
gender or the child's disability.

The study reached the following conclusions: the presence of environmental awareness about the seriousness of solid waste on our lives and consider it the source of contamination and disease. And the existence of a social willingness to contribute to the management of solid waste as sort of domestic or work in environmental associations. The environmental awareness is spreading in the province as a whole, but noted concern for the environment in the city, most of the countryside. As environmental awareness associated cultural level where it was noted the high level of awareness among the educated classes more than illiterate. It has been observed is that to the environmental awareness is equally between males and females.
The research found the most important proposals : attention to publish more environmental awareness among community groups is an educated in addition to spreading the culture of voluntary work in the field of environment an educated.
