يعتبر نقل البضائع بالحاويات من العناصر الأساسية للنهضة الحديثة في أعمال النقل البحري على مستوى العالم. و نظراً لأهميته البالغة، فقد ركزت معظم الدول (و خاصة المتقدمة منها) على تطوير أساطيلها البحرية و موانئها، لكي تصبح قادرة على مواكبة و مسايرة التطور المذهل الحادث و البالغ السرعة في التقدم بتكنولوجيا التحوية. حيث يجب أن تتناسب إمكانيات الموانئ مع التطورات التي حصلت في أساطيل النقل البحري و أنماط نقلها ممثلة بسفن الحاويات التي تتطلب خدمات مينائية متطورة مثل الكفاءة العالية للعاملين و الرافعات و المعدات المتخصصة الحديثة و السريعة الاداء و الساحات و الانظمة الإلكترونية الحديثة. فقد تطرقت الدراسة إلى المعايير الأساسية المميزة لمستوى الخدمات في محطات الحاويات التي تم تحديدها في مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة و التنمية UNICTAD 2012، و تم تطبيق هذه المعايير على محطة حاويات اللاذقية الدولية LICT، حيث تم حساب وقت الإنتظار النسبي و معامل الإنتاجية P خلال فترة مكوث السفينة في الميناء و دراسة المؤشرات الإحصائية لأوقات السفن الراسية في محطة حاويات اللاذقية الدولية و معدلات تداول الحاويات و ذلك خلال الفترة الممتدة من 2014 إلى 2017، و قد خلصت الدراسة إلى المعدل الوسطي لوقت الإنتظار النسبي حقق قيمة 0.0553 و التي تضعه في المستوى B و هو المستوى الثاني من أربع مستويات A,B,C,D بالإضافة إلى المستوى B أيضاً كمعدل وسطي لمعامل الإنتاجية P و بقيمة 54.4 خلال فترة الدراسة.
Container transportation is one of the essential elements of modern ren aissance in shipping business in the world. Due to its extremely important, most countries have focused (especially the developed ones) on development of their maritime fleets and ports, in order to be able to keep up and keep the remarkable development and extremely rapid progress in containerization technology. Port capabilities should be commensurate with the developments in maritime transport fleets and their transport patterns represented by container vessels that require advanced port services such as high efficiency of workers and cranes, and modern and fast performance specialized equipments, and modern electronic systems. The study addressed the basic criteria for the level of services in the container terminals that have been identified in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development UNICTAD 2012, These criteria were applied to Lattakia International Container Terminal (LICT), where the relative waiting time ε and productivity coefficient (P) were calculated for the duration of the ship's stay in the port, and the statistical indicators of the times of ships at the Lattakia International Container Terminal and the container handling rates was studied during the period Extending from 2014 to 2017, The study concluded that the average wait time relative ε achieved the value of 0.0553, which put it at level B which is the second level of four levels, A, B, C, D, in addition to the level B is also achieved by productivity coefficient (P) and the value of 54.4 during the The study period.

This research addresses an important economic issue, which is the subject of partnership between the public and private sectors in economic facilities management, this research discusses the participatory experience in the maritime transport sector,
specifically in Lattakia port.
The research will address the reality of Lattakia port situation and its role in the Syrian foreign trade and the reasons for the application of participatory management of containers activity and targets set by the port company, and the nature of working in Lattakia container terminal.
The research aims to assess the experience of participatory in Lattakia port, through the analysis the nature of Lattakia international container terminal(LICT (company, and results achieved during the first three years, and the benefits that Lattakia port company achieved by the application of participatory, and will search to the important results and some recommendations for the development experience of participatory in Lattakia port particular, and the maritime transport sector in general.
Storage is one of the main services provided by the container terminals to its customers.
The competition between these terminals is very strong to provide the best services and
efficiency that reduces the time of containers in the yards to the low
est time. This reflects
an increase in productivity and reduction in storage costs, that is very important to the
shipping agents, so it had to work on the continuous re-preparation of the yards and
transport equipment commensurate with rapid changes and the great development in the
number of containers.
The study focused on methods of calculating the theoretical storage capacity of the
container terminals and applying them to the research terminal and comparing the results
with the actual reality and actual productivity of the fully and empty container yards, and
the global values of the modern container terminals, and calculation of the values of one of
the most important indicators of use, that is the indicators of use of yard which reflects the
efficiency of the use of available resources in the yards of the station.
The research aims to identify the electronic management role in improving the performance
of Lattakia Port Container Terminal through the study of the relationship between each of the mail
planning, organizing mail, execution-mail, electronic contr
ols, and improve the performance of
Lattakia Port Container Terminal. Adopted Find descriptive approach, and included the research
community beneficiaries of the container port of Latakia agents offshore and sincerely customs
agents terminal services, totaling (68) are working effectively, where BI views using the
comprehensive inventory, has been restored (65) complete and valid for statistical analysis form.
The research aims through his studies to determine the effectiveness of the
administrative factors in the application of multi-modal transport system. He also aims to

members of the sample,Cronbach's alpha coefficient to measure the stability was 0,911.
The study concluded: Poor logistic service in the container terminal at the Port of
Latakia and the weakness of qualified and trained staff to use the method of transport.
The researcher found at the end of the study: The need to update all the infrastructure
related to each place and take advantage of the geographical location of Syria.
This research offers assessment of the urban streets in Lattakia city center. These arterials
form main traffic links between major regions. Therefore, Traffic improvement on these
streets will have great effect on improving level of service (LOS),
increasing speeds,
decreasing delay time, decreasing the emissions and traffic accidents.
This research was done on six streets surrounding Lattakia city center for defining LOS.
Floating vehicle was used in this study. Many trips were executed during free flow and
peak periods for measuring free flow speed, Travel time and average speed.
Every street was divided into many sections. This study uses field method and computation
method adopted by Highway Capacity Manual (HCM2000) for defining LOS on streets
and comparing results.
This study showed low values of LOS for most sections and it indicated deference between
field method and computation method. Also, it expressed the necessary to take suitable
procedures to increase LOS on these streets.
