The modern techniques of the information systems are considered as one of the most
important tools, that most institutions, bodies and organizations working in the areas of
planning and future development are seeking to use as effective analytical
and technical
tools for collecting and analyzing the vast amount of spatial and descriptive information
and the data of the human and natural phenomena, for both planners or decision-makers, at
the various stages of the planning process to cope with the urgent urban problems in
addition to supporting the completion of development plans in record time and high
quality, and reduce waste in energies and resources.
In this context, the research displays the advanced analytical techniques and tool, and
their role in whole planning processes, and identifies the methods of application of GIS
systems as the most efficient and widely used system in the fields of urban planning and
land use, and in developmental decisions support. Also, the research presents a practical
model for the distribution of tasks within the departments and institutions involved in the
planning, to introduce the information systems in their work, and highlights the most
important obstacles that may face the use of those systems.
The study comes up with a number of conclusions and recommendations for the
potential application of advanced techniques and avoiding obstacles, which directly
contribute to raising the efficiency and effectiveness of planning processes, and
improving the planning process management.
This Paper aims to Studying the factors of Quality measurement in information
systems applied in telecommunications companies. The study is divided into four
main factors; the first factor is time which consists of four sub factors (Timelines,
upd
ating, Frequency, and Availability). Second is Form which includes Five sub
factors (Clarity, Details, Presentation, Order, Media).Third is Content which
includes nine sub factors (Accuracy, Relevance, Completeness, Concinseness, Scope,
Security, Reliability, Economy, Competency).Technical, the final factors, it consists
of two sub factors (Software Quality, Hardware Quality). We have tested this model
in Syriatel Company to prove its validity, and applicability in many other types of
organizations. Time and content factors was the final result for factors of Quality
measurement in information systems applied in the syriatel company.

This study aims to identify the concept of Knowledge management as considering it
as one of the new management theory that many organization trying to apply it useful of
his advantage, also the aim was to identify the Knowledge procedures and cause
s of return
of libraries and information system to Knowledge management, in addition to identify
requester of Knowledge management application in the libraries. The research design was
the theory deism as most appropriate for this study. The results of this research show that
there was no significant different between libraries duties, information systems, and
Knowledge management procedures, also that the most important requisites of Knowledge
management application in libraries was existing of three elements which are:
organizational culture, organizational knowledge, knowledge management technology.
Banking information systems are essential necessities imposed by economic, social
and technical developments which taking place in the banking market world, where these
systems and techniques have an impact obviously on the banks because it depends
on the
digital technology to deliver the banking services to their applicants , which has led to
increase the quality and effectiveness the performance of services , processes and
marketing banking mix and make it more efficient and effective which will be increasing
and improving customer satisfaction for banking services applying.
Thus information systems play major role among private banks in Syria, through
their ability to improve the marketing performance of the bank and provide services and
products of high quality and low costs by redesigning operational banking, customer
contact quickly and provide significant data and information for customers consumption
patterns efficiently and effectively, which enabled the bank managers to take advantage of
this information in develop of plans and programs for improvement the quality of the
banking services performance provided, and increase the degree of satisfaction and loyalty
among customers by focusing on the efficiency and skill of banking services staff, in this
case we can facilitate the process of delivering the service to customers in the right way.
The Marketing information systems are considered the backbone
of decision making, particularly these needed to run facilities with
higher efficiency and effectiveness of marketing process. The study
recommends that the served facilities ought to d
evelop the
organizational structure, in away leaving the routine more over
forwarding towards more flexible structures, and decentralization in
decision making. As well as getting rid of operation standards,
standing in the hand in order to rationalization of the decision made.
And getting the valuable, credibility and economic information at
suitable time allows to rationalization and directing activities the
existing process of marketing the rationalization and directing
activities to achieve at higher level, This enforce the facility to be
awareness to the importance of providing effective marketing
information system, This make it able to govern the process of
decision making, reduce the time and effort which is responsible for
search from information and analysis it, and enable it be able to
assess the prospects for the future, and the face of environmental
changes.

where the information systems management had to holds the
