The modern techniques of the information systems are considered as one of the most important tools, that most institutions, bodies and organizations working in the areas of planning and future development are seeking to use as effective analytical and technical tools for collecting and analyzing the vast amount of spatial and descriptive information and the data of the human and natural phenomena, for both planners or decision-makers, at the various stages of the planning process to cope with the urgent urban problems in addition to supporting the completion of development plans in record time and high quality, and reduce waste in energies and resources. In this context, the research displays the advanced analytical techniques and tool, and their role in whole planning processes, and identifies the methods of application of GIS systems as the most efficient and widely used system in the fields of urban planning and land use, and in developmental decisions support. Also, the research presents a practical model for the distribution of tasks within the departments and institutions involved in the planning, to introduce the information systems in their work, and highlights the most important obstacles that may face the use of those systems. The study comes up with a number of conclusions and recommendations for the potential application of advanced techniques and avoiding obstacles, which directly contribute to raising the efficiency and effectiveness of planning processes, and improving the planning process management.

The purpose of this research is to know the reality of the use of educational techniques and laboratory devices in secondary vocational schools in Lattakia Governorate, The research adopted descriptive analytical method through a questionnaire con sisting of (50) words distributed on four axes, has been verified the validity and stability through appropriate statistical methods, And then applied to the study sample which consisted of (127) teachers, assistant teachers and vocational teachers in a number of vocational secondary schools in Lattakia Governorate during the second semester of the academic year (2016-2017), The most important findings of the research: -The degree of ownership of the competencies of the use of educational techniques and laboratory devices in vocational schools and the degree of use of these techniques and devices medium. -The degree of obstacles to the use of educational techniques and laboratory devices in vocational schools and the degree of requirements for the development of this use is high. - There were no statistically significant differences in the identification of the reality of the use of educational techniques and lab equipment in secondary vocational schools in Lattakia Governorate according to the variables of the place of study and the job title. - There were statistically significant differences in the possession of competencies in the use of educational techniques and laboratory devices in vocational schools and the use of these techniques and devices according to the variable training courses for those who followed one or more courses. There were no differences regarding the obstacles of using educational techniques and laboratory equipment in vocational schools. The research concluded with a set of proposals aimed at developing the use of educational techniques and laboratory equipment in vocational secondary schools in Lattakia Governorate.
This study shows the application of network planning tool for planning, scheduling and control of maintenance operations. Taking into account that the maintenance process is a project as it consists of a set of actions that consume specific resourc es and have a data specified achievement. Thus you can create a represents the maintenance process activities. This diagram helps to maintenance process scheduling, additionally, it allows activity time maintenance. For this purpose, we used the project. Evaluating and Review technique, because it respond to order delivery vacillation.
This research aimed to evaluate the training courses of the use of educational technology from the perspective of the trainees, and to find out the effect of some variables on it .In order to a chieve the objectives of this research, the descriptiv e analytical method was used by designing a questionnaire consisting of 50 statements distributed on six axes. The study sample was consisted of 171 administrators and teachers at the schools of the Governorate of Lattakia who followed one or more courses of the use of educational techniques. The most important research results were: The order of the axes of the questionnaire came as the following: The extent of the advantage of the course, The content of the course programme, The general level of the performance of the lectures, The course place The course objectives, The course time. The evaluation of the training courses of the use of educational techniques from the perspective of the trainees came generally at an acceptable degree. There were no differences which are statistically significant between the average responses of the sample of the questionnaire of evaluating the training courses of the use of educational techniques according to the variables of the job and the number of years of experience. There were no differences which are statistically significant between the average responses of the sample of the questionnaire of evaluating the training courses of the use of educational techniques according to the variables of the number of courses adopted and the scientific and educational qualification except for the axis of (The extent of the advantage of the course) as some differences in favor of those who followed one or more courses and for those who have the diploma of educational qualification were found out.
This paper deals with participatory decision making and planning processes. It critically looks at methods and tools that are practiced currently in Germany and in particular in the city of Berlin, where the author has close relationship to and has studied in depth the Berlin experience made during the past decades. The process of public involvement that started in the 1970ies in Berlin and in the Federal Republic of Germany (BRD) is going to be monitored continiously. Focus is laid on the discourse on whom and how when to involve. Meanwhile the city of Berlin has developed a handbook on public participation that is briefly presented and assessed in this paper. Selected best practice cases where certain tools have been successfully applied in Berlin will be presented and analysed. This paper is meant to enlarge the knowledge about state of the art dicourse on participatory urban planning, design and implementation and gives a brief outlook on replicability of instruments for participatory urban planning and design in the Syrian context.
The implantation of production processes by using network planning for mass production is considered essential in machine production and maintenance . This is more important when producing items as an integrated project that has to be finished in s pecific time and with last cost. The network planning is seen from a new perspective because it studies reaction method and response method to incidental (emergency) events in industrial production such as ( machine malfunction, shortage in raw materials…) This study uses probability methods which considers all previous factors when calculating the critical path in Network plans. The new approach of this research is using Network planning for programming production processes in mass production especially in maintenance processes.
