The research aimed to identify the degree of practicing Management by Values of the
Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City from the Teachers' point of view in their
Schools. The research also aimed to study the differences significance between
the average
points of the research sample of the Secondary Schools Managers according to the
following variables: (sex, scientific and educational qualification, years of experience),
and to achieve the objectives of this research, a questionnaire was built, consisted of (56)
has been applied on a sample of (403) teachers, during the academic year of (2017 - 2018),
also the current research used Descriptive analytical method and to approve the
questionnaire validity, it was showed to a jury of (7) of specialized adjudicators in this
domain. Its constancy was assured by applying it on a pilot sample consisted of (82)
teachers, in Lattakia City through Cronbach – Alpha Reliability (0.952), and (0.473) at
Spearman-Brown.
The final results showed that the degree of practicing Management by Values of the
Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City the from Teachers' point of view, came
middle rated , the result also showed no statistically significance differences in the degree
of practicing Management by Values of the Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City
of the sample members' point of view, according to the variables (sex, and scientific and
educational qualification), While there were statistically significance differences due to the
Variable experience, in favor of teachers with experience of more than (10) years. The
research provided some suggestions such as preparing training programs to train
Secondary Schools Managers on Management by Values, also conducting other researches
about applying Management by Values theory at Schools.

differences in the trends of secondary education towards the application of
knowledge management according to gender variables, years of experience

The study aimed at revealing the role of educational guidance in solving

The research aimed to identify the level of job satisfaction of teachers in secondary
schools in Tartous governorate, as well as their level of job performance, and to identify
the impact of job satisfaction on the performance of the sample members
. The descriptive
approach was used. The sample included (440) teachers, ie (88.53%) of the original
community of the selected schools, for the Academic year 2016/2017. In order to achieve
the objective of the research, two questionnaires were designed, The first one consisted of
(37) sections divided into five axes to measure job satisfaction. The second consisted of
(29) items to measure the job performance. The research reached several results, most
importantly: job satisfaction of the sample members came at medium level, and the axis of
The nature of work) ranked first, While the axis of (work environment) ranked last. As
well as job performance of the sample members came at medium degree with average of
(3,31) and a relative weight (67,54). The result also shown The effect of job satisfaction on
job performance of the sample members. The research presented some of conclusions and
proposals, including: provide an emotive and lovely atmosphere for teachers to enable
them to perform their tasks to the fullest, and improve the work environment by providing
educational equipment and tools to facilitate the work of teaching, as well as conducting
similar studies in other educational stages and in other governorate.
The aim of the research is to identify the attitudes of secondary school teachers
towards the use of the inverted learning strategy in teaching science, and to study
differences in their attitudes according to gender variables, years of teaching ex
perience,
scientific qualification and computer literacy. The research was based on a descriptive
method. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to a random sample of (200)
teachers and schools, (187) of which were fully valid and valid for statistical analysis, with
a response rate of (93.5%). The research found a number of results, the most important of
which is that the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards the use of the inverted
learning strategy in teaching science is positive and relatively important (79.9%). Where
they have a desire to use this strategy because of their positive implications for the
educational process from their point of view, where teachers emphasize that inverted
learning contributes to increasing learning time by transforming the process of home
learning and solving homework in the classroom, and provides a stimulating learning
environment Share learners in the responsibility of learning. The results showed no
statistically significant differences between the average scores of teachers in secondary
education in Lattakia in their attitudes towards the use of the inverted learning strategy
according to the gender variable, while there were statistically significant differences
according to the variables of the academic qualification and the years of teaching
experience and computer knowledge.

Secondary Education is considered a basic stage of the educational system. It is the gate from which the outputs of the general education come to the market and universities . Therefore, the general education receives special attention from Ministrie
s of Education and teaching at the world level. The educational system of developed countries with its different stages adopts at present new concepts which have characteristics that agree with the new scientific developments such as informatics, total quality, knowledge society, post-knowledge, and School of the Future. School of the Future works at developing the whole personality of all students, facilitating knowledge for them and giving a chance for their creative abilities to appear, so the student becomes able to lifelong learning and continue to develop his knowledge and skills by using all methods of learning and educational technology. To achieve these aims , there should be a distinguished teacher who is able to think in a scientific organized way to face the social, cognitive, economical, educational, , and cultural challenges, as well as a manager who is able to face the social, economical, technological, educational and administrative challenges to lead the school with its all elements. So, the research aimed at identifying the challenges which face the managers and teachers of the general secondary education in the light of the school of the future. The research consisted of seven chapters. The first five chapters included the theoretical part while the sixth and seventh chapters included the procedures of the field study and its results.
The research handles the evaluation of the performance of teachers of secondary education in the city of
Latakia according to the criteria of total quality management from the perspective of supervisors and school
directors in the following areas:
planning and design of educational situations, classroom management and
the relationship with the students, mastery of educational material and follow-up, use of modern techniques,
student assessment, and the relationship with the local community. To achieve the objectives of the research,
a questionnaire was designed consisting of (37) items covering the fields of research, and distributed to a
sample of (41) educational supervisors, and (23) High School directors in the city of Lattakia.
This descriptive research aims to explore the state of affairs of the top students in Lattakia high schools and the factors that led to their eminence. It also aims to identify the role of some socio-educational, familial, and economical factors (as
independent variables), and educational achievement (as a dependent variable).
The researcher followed social survey approach to collect data for each of the research's variables concerning top students from Ghassan Harfouche, and Ezz Al-deen schools in Lattakia. Data was collected by a questionnaire addressed to one hundred top students. School registers of the above mentioned schools showed that 9% , 35%, 43%, and 13% of students obtained 90% , 89-70%, 69-50%, and 13% of the total degree respectively in all disciplines.
The research showed that eminence is related to the educational level of the parents, family income, and the way the students spend their free time. In addition, factors such as gender, and teacher appeal, and genetic factors affect educational achievement positively. However, large number of family members affect achievement negatively. Another factor that affects the student's achievement positively is the numerous studying hours per day.
This study aimed to recognize the importance of identifying the
requirements for achieving decentralization in elementary and secondary
schools in Syrian Arab Republic as perceived by headmasters.
The study used the descriptive method; A Questionn
aire was
constructed for this purpose, which consisted of (50) items.
