The research handles the evaluation of the performance of teachers of secondary education in the city of
Latakia according to the criteria of total quality management from the perspective of supervisors and school
directors in the following areas:
planning and design of educational situations, classroom management and
the relationship with the students, mastery of educational material and follow-up, use of modern techniques,
student assessment, and the relationship with the local community. To achieve the objectives of the research,
a questionnaire was designed consisting of (37) items covering the fields of research, and distributed to a
sample of (41) educational supervisors, and (23) High School directors in the city of Lattakia.
The aim of the research is to identify the attitudes of secondary school teachers
towards the use of the inverted learning strategy in teaching science, and to study
differences in their attitudes according to gender variables, years of teaching ex
perience,
scientific qualification and computer literacy. The research was based on a descriptive
method. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to a random sample of (200)
teachers and schools, (187) of which were fully valid and valid for statistical analysis, with
a response rate of (93.5%). The research found a number of results, the most important of
which is that the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards the use of the inverted
learning strategy in teaching science is positive and relatively important (79.9%). Where
they have a desire to use this strategy because of their positive implications for the
educational process from their point of view, where teachers emphasize that inverted
learning contributes to increasing learning time by transforming the process of home
learning and solving homework in the classroom, and provides a stimulating learning
environment Share learners in the responsibility of learning. The results showed no
statistically significant differences between the average scores of teachers in secondary
education in Lattakia in their attitudes towards the use of the inverted learning strategy
according to the gender variable, while there were statistically significant differences
according to the variables of the academic qualification and the years of teaching
experience and computer knowledge.
The purpose of the research is to identify the reality of the transformational
leadership in the general secondary schools in Damascus, and the suggestions for
activating its application from the point of view of the teachers. The researcher design
ed a
questionnaire consisting of (28) items divided into five axes. After being verified and
validated, (220) members of the administrative staff, and (347) members of the teaching
staff, and after the necessary statistical treatments, the research showed results, the most
important of which are the following:
- The average score of secondary school principals for transformational leadership
(2.56), ie average grade.
- There were no statistically significant differences between the average degree of
principals of secondary education for transformational leadership according to the
variables: years of experience, scientific qualification and gender of the sample members.
- There were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of
the members of the administrative body, and the average responses of faculty members on
the reality of transformational leadership.
- - Appreciating the efforts of the employees, providing them with incentive
incentives, and setting up training courses for managers in the field of transformational
leadership are the most important proposals of the sample to activate the application of
transformational management in secondary education schools.
