This study aimed at investigating Tishreen university students’ psychological stress sources. Furthermore, the study attempted to explore whether students differ according to their gender, their academic specializations. The sample of this study comprised of (200) students: (100 male and 100 female). In order to achieve the goals of this study the Inventory of University Students’ Sources of psychological stress was constructed. The final version of the scale consisted of (60) items. These items distributed in seven dimensions: family stress, economic stress, personal stress, security stress, social stress, and environment of the learning stress. The results showed that most areas of the psychological stress is security, and least influential in them are social stress. The results also indicated to significant differences (α≤ 0.05) between males and females means in the social, personal, family, and the economic domains. according to the variable students’ academic specializations, the results showed no differences statistically function (0.05 "≥α) between the students.

This research aims to reveal the extent of the manifestationspsychological alienation among university youth, and the effect of gender, marital status and accommodation on the level of psychological alienation phenomenon. This research was applied on (110) university students from Tishreen University. To achieve this goal the following tool was used: psychological alienation scale by the researcher after reviewing the previous studies, the scale includes (Normlessness, Powerlessness, Aimlessness, Meaninglessness) dimensions. The results showed thatThe most prevalent manifestations of psychological alienation was normlessness, followed by powerlessness, then aimlessness, and finally meaninglessness. the prevalence of psychological alienation phenomenon among university students is by (57.27%). The results didn't show statistically significant differences between the study sample in the level of psychological alienation phenomenon according to gender, marital status, and accommodation variables.
The current research aimed to recognize the level of psychological security among a sample of Tishreen university students. In order to achieve the objective of this research, Shkeer's psychological security scale was applied, which its factor str ucture was investigate by the researcher in a previous study. The scale was used for data collection, and in year 2017-2018, a sample of (233) students participated in the research. The results showed that the level of students’ psychological security is medium, and there is no difference between males and females, but there are differences according to the specialty, especially in “practice life”, where that the students of practice specialty showed higher feeling of psychological security than the students of theoretic specialty.
The present research was designed to investigate the factor structure of Shkeer's psychological security scale (2005), by using the exploratory factor analysis. the psychological security scale of shkeer consists of four dimensions: (individual bu ilding and future vision (14 items), general and practice life (18 items), temperament (10 items), social relationships and social interaction (12 items). The researcher used the descriptive method, and the research sample was chosen randomly, while the data were collected from (415) students of Tishreen University. The research revealed that the psychological security consists of six factors, which had explained (52.91%) of total variance of items: The first factor: future vision and includes 14 items. The second factor: social relationships and includes 7 items. The third factor: temperament and includes 7 items. The fourth factor: practice life and includes 5 items. The fifth factor: general life and includes 5 items. The sixth factor: social interaction and includes 4 items. The researcher suggests that more studies should be done to investigate the factor structure of the psychological security scale on different Syrian samples.and proposes to study the relationship between psychological security and some variables.
Ideas and social as well as cultural values associated with daily life in foreign films influence the behaviors and habits of viewers. The young are the most vulnerable because they are at the stage of forming opinions and testing values of their soc ialization in childhood and adolescence. University students form the biggest group in society upon which a community is built. So it was necessary to study the impact of what is promoted in foreign films of values and behaviours on this category people. This research poses set of questions: 1. What is the quality of the movies that students prefer to see? 2. What are the most popular ways of watching foreign movies among university students? 3. Are university students watching foreign films affected by cultural aspects presented in the film? 4. Are university students watching foreign films affected by the social aspects presented them? 5. What is the effect of what is being presented in foreign films on the daily life of the undergraduate students viewers of these films? This research was conducted on a random sample of Tishreen University students in Lattakia during academic year 2012-2013. The search presented the phenomenon of people's watching foreign films and analyzed it to identify the impact on audiences of cultural values, social and daily life style that are being promoted in foreign films. A questionnaire was designed, Data was analyzed using the SPSS20 software to reach results.
This study aims to: 1- Know the relationship between the crisis psychological hardness and identity crisis at a sample of Damascus University Students. 2- Check for differences in both psychological hardness and identity crisis, due to variables (gender-Class). Approach of the study: The Comparative correlation descriptive approach. And the sample of the study consists of (255) students from the Damascus University Students (144male, 111female) and they have been selected randomly. The researcher used Statistical methods: Pearson correlation, T.test. And the Results of the study were as follows: 1- There is no relationship statistically significant correlation between the degree of high school students on the scale of Psychological hardness and grades on a scale of identity crisis. 2- There are no significant statistical differences between mean scores of high school students on scale Psychological hardness due to the variable (gender). 3- There are significant statistical differences between mean scores of high school students on scale Psychological hardness due to the variable (Class). 4- There are significant statistical differences between mean scores of high school students on scale identity crisis due to the variable (gender). 5- There are no significant statistical differences between mean scores of high school students on scale identity crisis due to the variable (Class).
