The Impact of Information Technology on Banking Service Quality A Field Study on the Branches of the Commercial Bank of Syria- Latakia

The research aims to study the impact of information technology on the quality of banking services in the branches of the Commercial Bank of Syria province of Latakia. To achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to 201 workers, and (183) questionnaire were suitable to analyze, a response rate (91.04%), and based on applying simple regression to assess the relationship between the information technology and the quality of banking service dimensions, the research found the following results: 1- There is a strong and positive correlation between the hardware equipment and the quality of banking service, where it was found that (79.7%) of the discrepancy in the quality of banking services is explained after the equipment. 2- There is a strong and positive correlation between a online banking service and service quality, it was found that (69.2%) of the discrepancy in the quality of banking services is explained after the Internet. 3- There is a strong and positive correlation between communications and banking service quality, where it was found that (65.9%) of the discrepancy in the quality of banking services is explained after the communication. 4- There are acceptable and positive correlation between post-efficiency of human resources and banking service quality, where it was found that (59.9%) of the discrepancy in the quality of banking services is explained by the efficiency of human resources.

IT in Public banks Branches in Latakia City (A Field Study)

This research aims to supply the management with necessary information about how far the organizations depends on IT resource, and how far it is invested in away contributes to applying business strategies. The IT governance by using one of the controlling frameworks, significantly, ensure providing these information to exercise good governance in the public banking sector in Syria according to specific elements to be measured by this framework. The results of this research showed that the commitment of the public banks in Latakia city using exercising of IT governance that ensures the control on this resource, as well as, making sure that it enhances achieving wished fit with the strategy and aims of these organizations, whereas, the recommendation focused on enhancing of this commitment process with these practices.

The views of workers in libraries around the use of information technology (computers and the Internet( A field study in the Directorate of Culture libraries in Tartous

The research aims to identify the views of the workers of the Directorate of Culture libraries in Tartous towards the use of information technology (computers and the Internet), and to achieve the objectives of the research questionnaire was developed and distributed to a sample of workers in libraries, and using appropriate statistical tests of the most important results: 1- Workers in cultural libraries believes that the use of information technology develops the work of libraries, which is necessary in indexing and retrieval, and organizing groups, and eliminates the role of workers, which is at the same time does not lead to the reluctance of workers, as it does not impede the work of the beneficiaries, and is essential in organizing the loan. 2- characterized the views of workers in the cultural libraries towards the use of information technology (computers and the Internet) positive nature of the increase in years of practical experience in the field of computer, high academic qualification, and follow training courses in the field of IT.

The Effect of Information Technology on Employees Performance in The Pubular Cridet Bank (Practical Study in Jablah Branch)

Pubular Cridet Bank is considered the most efficient bank among others. The Adminstration of the Pubular Cridet Bank worked to external the banking works through technology and develope employees performance and improve the services of ( Deposits , Current account , loans ,…etc). This Study handles the important concepts in the list below : 1- The most important technology used in the bank. 2- Employees performance in the bank. 3-The effect of the technology in improving employees performance in the Pubular Cridet Bank. This stydy has been implemented at Jablah branch and the result showed that the available technology is not enough to develop the work performance and not enough to accommodate the pressur of banking work in all the department of the bank.

Information Society A Study of Related Theories and Technological and Economical Basics

The current study handles what related to the Information Society including aspects of concept, origin, essential terms that have been circulating on this concern, characteristics, in addition to the most significant theories of information society that have hypnotized the scholars of various backgrounds and specialties the most obvious of which are the sociologists, economists, and the technologists, not to mention the economical and technological essentials and their impact on such a society. This study concludes with a constellation of findings most important of which are: information become among the basic sources that obviously affect various sectors of life: economical, social and cultural. They are however looked at as a resource that could be utilized as a commodity. The improvements in the field of information technology has led to dividing societies into three constituents, as follows: sharing societies, affiliated societies and secluded societies.

The role of change management in the success of the introduction of information technology in public banks Commercial Bank of Syria (A Case Study)

This Research aims to study the role of change management in the success of the introduction of information technology in the public banks through the case study of the Commercial Bank of Syria،to achieve this goal; a questionnaire was used as a tool in gathering the necessary data. The questionnaire was distributed to the sample of the study; 341 questionnaires were distributed on the employees in commercial bank of Syria and the questionnaires which returned were 340، then there were 15 questionnaires refused. SPSS (22) was used in analyzing the data and testing the hypothesis. The research found that the - A positive relationship and statistically significant between the changing methods of communication between management and employees and the success of the introduction of information technology in the Commercial Bank of Syria. - A positive relationship and statistically significant between the، between training and the success of the introduction of information technology in the Commercial Bank of Syria. - A positive relationship and statistically significant between the stimulus and the success of the introduction of information technology in the Commercial Bank of Syria.

Determinants of Financial Structure Decision: Evidence from Syria Companies subject to the supervision of Syrian Commission on Financial Markets and Securities (2007 -2011)

This study aimed to determine the requirements and constraints of the application of knowledge management at Tishreen University. The study area was a set of employees in the central administration of Tishreen University. The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data, where 160 questionnaires were recovered from a total of 200 distributed. The result of this study found an urgent requirement for the application of knowledge management is the organizational culture, organizational structure and information technology, in addition to a number of direct obstacles, including: lack of clarity of the concept of knowledge management at most of the studied sample, and failure to allocate sufficient funding to be applied at Tishreen University.

The Impact of Information Technology Use on the Performance of Tishreen University Students using Discriminant Analysis

This study aimed at identifying the impact of information technology use on the student's performance amongst Tishreen University faculties, and identifying which factors relate to information technology use have contributed to the differences and variations in student's performance. Consequently, developing a mathematical model for classifying students' performance using discriminant analysis. The most important findings of this research are: There is a significant classification impact of the availability of the following factors: sources and scientific references, computing laboratories, the Internet, computing curriculum, tutors followed training courses in student's performance classification. The findings showed that there is no significant classification impact of the following two factors: foreign language proficiency and the availability of data show facilities on the student's performance classification. In addition, three discriminant functions are obtained which reflect student's performance. Furthermore, the developed model classified studied sample members correctly with 70.2%, which reflect a significant impact of the developed model on classifying student's performance.
