The research aims at determining the degree of the difficulties of the information seeking by using university library in the areas of: ( sources group, technician procedures, time, place, dealing with employees), To achieve the objectives of the r esearch, the researcher used descriptive approach, a questionnaire was done . consisting of (20) clause. It was distributed for (544) students in Tishreen University at 2015/2016. , and relying on appropriate statistical methods, results were as following: 1- This research resulted in a medium degree of the difficulties of the information seeking by using university library in the field of sources group because of lack of academic specialist sources. 2- This research resulted in a medium degree of the difficulties of the information seeking by using university library in the field of technician procedures because university library depends on classification in general not specialist one. 3- This research resulted in a medium degree of the difficulties of the information seeking by using university library in the field of time because time sometimes is suitable for students according to lectures table, sometimes is not. 4- This research resulted in a medium degree of the difficulties of the information seeking by using university library in the field of place because of some chaos. 5- This research resulted in a medium degree of the difficulties of the information seeking by using university library in the field of dealing with employees because of lace of librarian and specialist employees too. 6- the difficulties of information seeking increase throughout the coming years of studying because of student in high studies degree search for information more than student in license degree. 7- Students suggest some ways that decrease difficulties of information seeking in using university library: ( acquire specialist sources, depend specialist classification, increase hours that students can use the library, attention of library's furniture, appointment specialist employees at faculty field, increase copies of required books, design system of university library's data on internet)
هدفت هذه الدّراسة إلى تحديد درجة توفر تكنولوجيا المعلومات، والدور الذي تؤديه في تنمية العاملين الإداريين في جامعة تشرين، واعتمد الباحث على منهج المسح، وقام بتوزيع 346 استبانة على أفراد عيّنة البحث المتمثّلة بالعاملين الإداريين في كليات ومراكز جامعة ت شرين والبالغ عددهم 3514 وفق إحصائية مديرية الإحصاء والتخطيط، وكانت أهمّ النتائج متمثلة في توفر المكونات المادية، وتوفر شبكة الإنترنت، والبرمجيات والتطبيقات اللازمة لاستخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في تنمية العاملين الإداريين في جامعة تشرين، وأنّ تكنولوجيا المعلومات تزيد من كفاءة العاملين وتخفض من التكاليف وتوفر الجهد المبذول في العمل. فيما كانت أبرز التوصيات متمثلة في ضرورة الاستمرار في استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات بما يعزز من مرونة العمل ويعزز قدرات المديرين في اتخاذ القرارات.
The study aims to analyze the rehabilitation program for indexers in library department, the study will shed light on the role of the information and libraries in the indexing syllabi studied and his/her indexing skills and to what extent he/she ke eps pace with modern developments, the study relied in achieving its goals on the descriptive analytical filed approach to analyze the indexing syllabi studied in the department, the study revolves around indexing department at the university Damascus, and monitoring those professional development programs for indexers, the study is based on the following tools: questionnaires and content analysis, the study has reached result, the most important recommendation were calling upon the libraries and information department at the universities of Damascus to quickly initiation to re-examine at their study programs, especially in courses that address issues of technical processing of information sources due to those frequent change taking place in this area, and initiation to development their websites of the internet, that provoked for school subjects to development their performance and help student to understand their subjects.
The research aims to study the reality of information infrastructure in October, including the University of libraries contained in both paper and electronic networks and laboratories, and the study of information awareness to undergraduate students at this university. The researcher used descriptive analytical method, and relying on random sampling and stratified proportional distribution is the distribution of the research sample the (397) students on university faculties, and using appropriate statistical methods was reached following results: 1- The results showed that the level of information awareness, and effective use of information among undergraduate students at the University of October is generally a high level, but there is limited variation at this level also showed differences and test results mean coefficient values. 2- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students between faculties of Tishreen University. 3- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students caused by the number of skilled languages.
The aim of this study is to identify the relationship between Knowledge Management and Identification of Training Needs at Tishreen University by defining the role of Knowledge Management in the Process of Identifying Training Needs. The researcher relied on Both, the Deductive Approach as a general method, and the Descriptive Approach. He distributed a questionnaire to (303) of Employees in the Central Administration at Tishreen University, retrieving (274) Questionnaires, which were valid for use (264) questionnaire, and then conducted a field study for the purpose of this relationship, where the researcher used Pearson Correlation Coefficient, as well as the Coefficient of Selection. The researcher found through the study, that there is a fairly acceptable practice of Knowledge Management at Tishreen University, in addition to the weakness of the Senior Management of the University in the research in Support of the Process of Identifying Training Needs. The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between Knowledge Management and the Process of Identifying Training Needs. Therefore, there is a Role of Knowledge Management in the Process of Identifying Training Needs at Tishreen University. This study also reached a set of recommendations and proposals that would positively contribute to improving the role of Knowledge Management in the Process of Identifying Training Needs.
