The aim of the research is to assess the environmental performance of industrial companies operating in Lattakia Governorate using the data of the ISO14001 standard, represented by the variables (environmental policy, planning, implementation and ope ration, environmental management system, environmental management tools and environmental performance dimensions). Theoretical, as the statistical survey method was used, where the researcher distributed (140) questionnaires to a sample of industrial companies operating in the Lattakia governorate under study, (137) questionnaires that fulfilled the research conditions were retrieved which represent (98%) of the distributed questionnaires. The researcher also analyzed the data by using the statistical analysis program (SPSS.23). At the end of the research, the researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: The actual environmental performance of the industrial companies under study does not correspond to the required environmental performance, where the statistical analysis of the data showed that all environmental performance variables except for the “planning” variable were below the required level, which indicates that the industrial companies under study does not take the environmental aspect seriously into consideration in its various activities. The researcher also made several recommendations, the most important of which are: The industrial companies operating in Lattakia Governorate should focus on developing a specific environmental policy with clear goals and objectives, in addition to setting up an environmental management system that integrates with other systems of companies, both administrative and financial, and the concerned authorities in the country must impose conditions on industrial companies to obtain international ISO certificates related to the environment or other equivalent certificates.
The study aims to shed light on the lean management method and its role in reducing waste in its various forms and to show the extent of application of this method in industrial companies. ) in reducing supply chain risks before, during and after the ir occurrence and demonstrating the role of agile management in the sustainability of supply chains. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach. In the theoretical section of the research, the concept of lean management, its principles and objectives were studied, the concept of supply chain and the concept of supply chain risks and types of these risks were studied. The study aime to clarify the concept of management, its importance, dimensions and requirements for its application in the organization under study, and to clarify the role of applying performance management in achieving success for the organization . The researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach in her study, and a set of methods, including relying on secondary and primary data through a questionnaire that was designed, and it was distributed to (119) respondents, from which (117) were retrieved, and (110) questionnaires were suitable for analysis, and the research community was made up of a cadre Workers at Tishreen University in Lattakia Governorate (university president, department heads, divisional heads, and employees), and then relied on the SPSS program as a tool for analyzing the available data. The study aims to estimate the requirements of risk management procedures effectiveness in Syrian banking sector, and exams the existence of these requirements by detecting six factors as the requirements of risk management effectiveness according to the literature. The study used the survey method, the data was collected using a questionnaire developed according to literature review. Fifty questionnaires were send to the employees who work in risk management department in Syrian banks, but only thirty three were received back as an acceptable responses. The data was analyzed using SPSS. This paper showed that the requirements of risk management procedures effectiveness are available in some factors (support from top management, Communication, Information technology ) in banks, and they are not available in others factors( Culture, Organization structure, Training).
This study aimed to identify the degree of management practice values in the Faculty of Physical Education in Tishreen University from the point of view of the members of the teaching staff. It also aimed to find out the significance of differences b etween the mean scores of the evaluations of the members of the teaching staff in the Faculty of Physical Education in Tishreen University to practice for management by values at level(α ≤ 0.05), which are attributed to the study variables (gender, academic grade). For achieving the study aims, the researchers used the descriptive approach in the survey method, Where the study population consists of faculty members in the Faculty of Physical Education in Tishreen University and their number (24) member, while the sample of the study amounted to (20) members. Among the most important results is that the degree of practicing management by values ​​in the Faculty of Physical Education from the viewpoint of faculty members is located at the intermediate level. The statistical data was processed by using the statistical program (SPSS).

Most of the contracting companies suffer from poor coordination between the projects that they implement at the same time, and in Shauria, the situation is getting worse due to the absence of the application of modern methodologies in project managem ent, which causes a great waste of time and effort, especially for organizing and retrieving dozens of documents related to planning and follow-up, and consequently an increase in time, cost and poor quality.
The research aimed to identify the degree of practicing Management by Values of the Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City from the Teachers' point of view in their Schools. The research also aimed to study the differences significance between the average points of the research sample of the Secondary Schools Managers according to the following variables: (sex, scientific and educational qualification, years of experience), and to achieve the objectives of this research, a questionnaire was built, consisted of (56) has been applied on a sample of (403) teachers, during the academic year of (2017 - 2018), also the current research used Descriptive analytical method and to approve the questionnaire validity, it was showed to a jury of (7) of specialized adjudicators in this domain. Its constancy was assured by applying it on a pilot sample consisted of (82) teachers, in Lattakia City through Cronbach – Alpha Reliability (0.952), and (0.473) at Spearman-Brown. The final results showed that the degree of practicing Management by Values of the Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City the from Teachers' point of view, came middle rated , the result also showed no statistically significance differences in the degree of practicing Management by Values of the Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City of the sample members' point of view, according to the variables (sex, and scientific and educational qualification), While there were statistically significance differences due to the Variable experience, in favor of teachers with experience of more than (10) years. The research provided some suggestions such as preparing training programs to train Secondary Schools Managers on Management by Values, also conducting other researches about applying Management by Values theory at Schools.
