This research aims to identify the organizational commitment level of workers in the General port Company of Tartous and its relationship to job performance , this research researcher used the descriptive analytical methodology by using a questionnaire to gather information, (70) questionnaire were questionnaire were distributed, collected and analysed, the most important results includes that ; there is of a relatively high level of organizational commitment among workers in the public company in the port of Tartus with a mean ( 3.62 ), And also it was found a relatively high level of functionality to the employees of the company with a mean (3.65) , in addition to, the finding of this research shows a positive and significant correlation between the organizational and functionality commitment and the employees in Port General Company of Tartous . This research aims to study the effect of the organizational structure of the three dimensions(complexity, official, central) on the effectiveness of strategic management at the General Company of Tartous Port, To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was developed to achieve this goal, where the questionnaire was distributed to the research sample of managers (at all levels), The researcher used the descriptive approachin data collection, it was relying on statistical analysis program (spss.20) in its analysis. The researcher found many results such: There is a positive relationship between independent variables ( complexity, official, and central in structure) of the dependent variable (effectiveness of strategic management), the value of the correlation coefficient between independent variables and dependent variable 82% , and coefficient of determination 67%, considering the port is a government company with a large volume and subject to the laws, regulation, and strict instruction. And works in a stable environment . The researcher recommended the need to redesign the organizational structure of the general company of Tartous port to suit the application of strategic management effectively, in addition the promotion of vertical and horizontal organization and informal communications as reflected positively on the workers, and thus the effectiveness of the organization.

This study aimed to identify the impact of career management and demographic variables on organizational commitment of employees in a number of industrial companies in the Syrian coast, where the researcher followed the descriptive approach that fi ts the nature of the research, was relying on deliberate soft sample of (100) factor in the companies mentioned, data were analyzed and test hypotheses using a computer program SPSS 20. the researcher concluded to the following results: there is a positive and a weak correlation between the career management and organizational commitment in the companies under study, and this study found a positive and a weak correlation between the (promoting, job enrichment and training) and organizational commitment, and This study found no significant differences between the answer of respondents by sex and age, witch mean there is no differences between male and female responses, and there is no differences between the answer of the respondents according to age groups.
The aim of this study was to identify the level of transformational leadership, organizational commitment, and organizational effectiveness. The study examines the effect of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Commitment on Organizational Effectiveness from the perspective of workers in Damascus Electricity General Company. The study recommended to increase the practice of Transformational Leadership. Because of its role in creating the organizational commitment of employees, in order to increase the level of organizational effectiveness of company, which will reflected on raising the level of company’ economic and social performance.

And the adoption of appropriate statistical methods was the most important results that have been reached: *The harmony between workers and their confidence Bmadraihm and dedication to work, in addition to the keenness of directors authorized subordinates and develop their abilities and their morale and encourage them to contribute to collective action to activate the decision making process in the company under study. *Encouraging managers to employees urging them to innovate and actually growth, innovation and vision possessing a deep understanding of the creation of new jobs and take advantage of the challenges to increase learning and growth contributes to the activation of the company's decision-making process under study. *The status of directors of the objectives are clear, organized and completed efficiently and their quest for stability and job security contributes to the activation of the decision making process in the company under study. *The confirmation of managers to work efficiently in the completion of tasks, and their interest in achieving a good performance at work, and the utilization of available resources and the preservation of achieving a privileged position in performance and attention to workers and increase their efficiency and follow up their achievements contribute to activating the decision-making process in the company under study.
