In recent years, against the backdrop of the processes of globalization and the rapid development of information and communication technologies, the capacity of citizens to influence the policies of their states has significantly increased. In this regard, governments of countries seeking to maintain and expand their influence in the world, try to take these new trends into account when planning and implementing their foreign policy. It can be noted that the importance of these political processes is indicate the need in the interests of increasing the effectiveness of state foreign policy; it is more effective to use the resource of the public diplomacy. The public diplomacy is an integral part foreign policy of the state. What is the impact of public diplomacy technologies on political processes?
The research aims to identify the role of organizational culture in the activation of participation in decision-making in the General Company for the port of Latakia process. The study addressed the Iranian – Turkish relations after the cold war and focused on the most important interactions and trans formations takin, place between the two states in light of the international, regional and internal developments. The s tudy also analyzed the dialectic cooperation-competition which takes control of the track of Iranian-Turkish relationship since the end of the cold war as it identified the cooperation and competition factors between the two states in the three environments (internal, regional and international). The study found that the Iranian – Turkish relations have directly been affected by the end of the cold war when the collapse of the Soviet Union led to building up the regional role and political influence of the two states in the Middle East and central Asia in an effort to get the major regional power status in the regional system. The Thesis focuses on the EU’s security strategy towards the Central Asian states – as part of the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy towards the post-soviet realm. The thesis analyses, assesses and scrutinises one of the topical issues of the contemporary international relations - cooperation between the European Union and Central Asian states before and after adoption in June 2007 of the ‘European Union and Central Asia: Strategy for a New Partnership’, an important political document in the history of relations between the two parties. The new stage of cooperation is analysed more comprehensively accentuating priorities set in the Strategy. Analysis of the regional cooperation between the European Union and Central Asian, issues of diversification of hydrocarbons supply routes from the region to Europe and provision of energy security.
The current situation of the Arab countries acceding to the Great Arab Free Trade Area after several years to complete liberalization of fees and customs restrictions between them, requires paying great attention to measuring the effectiveness of c ommercial interfaces between these states and to know the real situation of the nature and effectiveness of intra-trade among themselves, especially since the figures available about this often lead to misleading results. Based on the above-mentioned discussion comes the necessity this study of trade exchange between Syria and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Arab, as these countries are the most important in the context of the Great Arab Free Trade Area. This study also focuses on measuring the effectiveness of commercial interfaces between them, reflecting the extent of inclusiveness in trade relations and their spread between these countries, exceeding the misleading figures about the nature of intra-trade among these countries.
