This paper takes a first step towards a critical thinking curriculum for neural auto-regressive language models. We introduce a synthetic corpus of deductively valid arguments, and generate artificial argumentative texts to train CRiPT: a critical th
inking intermediarily pre-trained transformer based on GPT-2. Significant transfer learning effects can be observed: Trained on three simple core schemes, CRiPT accurately completes conclusions of different, and more complex types of arguments, too. CRiPT generalizes the core argument schemes in a correct way. Moreover, we obtain consistent and promising results for NLU benchmarks. In particular, CRiPT's zero-shot accuracy on the GLUE diagnostics exceeds GPT-2's performance by 15 percentage points. The findings suggest that intermediary pre-training on texts that exemplify basic reasoning abilities (such as typically covered in critical thinking textbooks) might help language models to acquire a broad range of reasoning skills. The synthetic argumentative texts presented in this paper are a promising starting point for building such a critical thinking curriculum for language models.''
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between social intelligence and creative thinking
among secondary school students in Damascus, in addition to identifying the level of social
intelligence and creative thinking among the students in t
he research sample. The researcher used
the analytical descriptive method. The study sample consisted of (74) students from secondary
school students who were randomly selected. The study tools consisted of the first measure of
social intelligence and the second measure of creative thinking. The researcher conducted the
necessary statistical analysis to ascertain the psychometric characteristics of the research tools on
the one hand and to verify the validity of the hypotheses on the other hand. The results were as
follows:
1. There is a significant correlation between social intelligence and creative thinking among high
school students (first secondary)
2. There are statistically significant differences in social intelligence among high school students
due to the difference in sex (male - female) in favor of females.
3. There are no statistically significant differences in creative thinking among high school students
due to gender differences (male - female).
In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity of preparing
some activities and exercises that help to develop social intelligence in high school students and to
find courses that promote and stimulate the skills of intelligence and thinking, especially social
intelligence and creative thinking. The study also recommended that the teacher focus on
presenting his material on skills Interpretation, analysis, flexibility, fluency and originality so that
students can acquire creative thinking skills
This research deals with the role of strategic intelligence in the development of the performance of insurance companies where strategic intelligence contributes to helping organizations achieve their goals and interact with their environment with a
great deal of flexibility, by providing them with predictions of opportunities and threats, and taking appropriate action on the basis of systematic knowledge and thinking, enabling the organization to respond to current and future environment changes, and planning and forecasting results, which reflected positively on performance, strategic intelligence consists of several elements, including: foresight, systematic thinking, future visioning, motivation, and partnership. The research aims to analyze the reality of applying the elements of strategic intelligence in Private Insurance Companies in The Syrian Coast, and study the nature and strength of the relationship between strategic intelligence and performance. To achieve this, three hypotheses were formulated. The researcher used the questionnaire method to collect the data and analyzed it by using statistical tests, the most important of which were: the one-sample T. test, the Pearson Correlation test, and the multiple regression test. The researcher found several results, the most important of which is: Strategic intelligence is available in the studied companies with an average evaluation. There is also a positive correlation between strategic intelligence and performance. There is a statistically significant effect on the elements of strategic intelligence on performance in the studied companies, except for the elements of future vision and motivation.
This study aimed at investigating the styles of thinking of class room teacher
students in the College of Education at Tishreen University, and to know the impact of the
variables of ( gender, school year and the type of secondary school certificat
e) on styles of
thinking of those students, and to achieve the aims of the study a Questionnaire was
designed included some items , then the researcher assured its validity and reliability and
its suitability to the purposes of this study , the researcher distributed it on a stratified
random sample consisted of ( 287 ) students. The descriptive approach has been used.
The present study aimed to detect the degree of exercise The Arabic language
teachers for creative thinking skills in the Directorate of Education for the North Eastern
Badia region. The study's sample consisted of (200) The Arabic language teacher
s for sixth
and seven grades. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a
questionnaire composed of (63) items.
The results of the study showed that the degree of exercise The Arabic language
teachers for creative thinking skills development of the student was moderate on the
instrument total score, and in the fields of freedom of expression, the positive perspective
towards creativity, teaching methods, methods of evaluation, the class environment, and
creativity stimulation. Results of the study also pointed to the lack of a statistically
significant degree in exercise The Arabic language teachers in the Directorate of Education
for the North Eastern Badia region for creative thinking skills development differences
depending on the variable: gender, experience, and qualifications of all fields of study.
Accordingly, the study concluded that a number of recommendations related.
This Research Aims To Study The Role Of Strategic Intelligence In
Formulating An Effective Strategy For Organizations, By Studying
Two Important Elements Of Strategic Intelligence: Strategic

Strategy That Is Considered A Dependent Variable.
This study aimed to investigating the prevalence of Cornell Critical Thinking Test
Level (x) on a sample of talented students in the national Centre for the distinguished
(NCD) in Syria, and to identify the levels of critical thinking among talente
d students, and
whether these differed according to (students’ gender, academic level), the sample
consisted of (167) talented students, the results showed that the participants exhibited an
average level of Critical Thinking, and no Significant differences were found due to
gender, the results also revealed that Significant differences were found due to academic
level for the third academic level.
The purpose of the research was to identify the level of reasoning
thinking in a sample of students in the sixth grade for the academic
year 2016-2017. The effect of the sex variable (male and female)
was defined on their levels.
