An analytical Study of the Evolution of Syrian Exports

The export sector is the main driver of the development process of any country and one of the main pillars of its economy, the importance of exports lies in their ability to create new jobs, reform the deficit in the balance of payments, and attract private investment, both domestic and foreign then they help achieve sustained growth rates. They are also the most important sources of foreign exchange, and without export the economy fails to develop and unemployment increases. This research studies the evolution of Syrian trade balance during the period 2000 – 2010. Results show that the balance of trade suffered a deficit between (2004-2010). exports were much lower than imports. Oil exports and their impact on total exports and on the Syrian economy in general as well as agricultural exports and their share in total exports were also analyzed using Hirschman Index.

Commercial Insurance and Takaful and their Impact on Economic Development

The insurance sector (Commercial or Takaful) has an important role in the national economy. It supports and contributes in improving the economy and the economic development. This study compares between commercial insurance and takaful, and their impact on economic development. In this study we try to define the similarities and the differences between commercial insurance and takaful, and the effect on economic development, trying to reach applicable objective recommendations that contributes to the insurance sector in Syria and helps insurance companies to do the best in supporting the national economy and the economic development.

دراسة إحصائية لإنتاجية العامل في شركات المؤسسة العامة للصناعات الغذائية في سورية خلال الفترة 1996 - 2006

يعد عنصر العمل أهم عناصر الإنتاج، و الاستثمار فيه يفوق الاستثمار في باقي العناصر. و في هذا السياق جرى إعداد هذا البحث لدراسة المشاكل التي تعترض إنتاجية العمال في أثناء قيامهم بعملهم، و التي تؤثر بشكل مباشر في مستوى أدائهم و إنتاجيتهم، و ذلك على عكس الوضع بالنسبة إلى عناصر الإنتاج الأخرى التي يمكن التحكم فيها بشكل أو بآخر. و قد اخترنا بعض شركات الصناعات الغذائية في سورية نظراً إلى الدور الكبير الذي يؤديه قطاع الصناعات الغذائية في سورية في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني و في رفد الموازنة العامة للدولة بموارد كبيرة.

الاستثمار في الجمهورية العربية السورية

يستند البحث إلى مسألة الاستثمار حيث يؤدي دوراً مهماً في تحقيق معدل نمو اقتصادي مستمر و عالٍ في الاقتصاد الوطني و ذلك في حال توفر الموارد المالية إلى جانب العوامل الأخرى كالموارد الطبيعية و القوى العاملة الماهرة و الظروف السياسية و الاجتماعية الملائمة. إن إيجاد بيئة استثمارية قادرة على توفير المناخ الاقتصادي المناسب لتوطين الاستثمار المحلي و جذب الاستثمار الخارجي و اتخاذ سياسة استثمارية مواتية من الممكن أن يؤدي إلى تأمين فرص العمل لتشغيل الأعداد المتزايدة من الشباب و لاسيما أن الزيادة السكانية المتوقعة خلال السنوات القادمة قد تؤدي إلى تفاقم معدلات البطالة.

الدور التنموي للاستثمار في المؤسسة المصغرة في الجزائر

يعد الرهان الاقتصادي و الاجتماعي للاستثمار في مؤسسات الصغيرة و المتوسطة و منها المصغرة في الجزائر ذا أهمية بالغة، حيث أن الاستثمار في مؤسسات المصغرة يوفر إجراءات تسييرية أقل تعقيداً و طرق إنتاج أكثر مرونة و قدرات تكييف أكثر ملائمة مع نسيج الأسواق المحلية و الدولية التي تعرف ارتفاع في درجات عدم التأكد، و لهذا عرف هذا النوع من الاستثمار في الجزائر نمواً نتيجة العلاقات الباطنية الهامة و كذلك لارتفاع مكانته في النسيج الاقتصادي، فأصبح الاهتمام به و تنميته ضرورة لبلوغ التنمية.

The contribution of the private banks in the Syrian private investment (years 2004 to 2010)

Private banks began to work with public banks in Syria Under an economic and financial reform plan, As the public banks undertake the task of financing the public sector mainly and receive deposits from it, The private banks largely responsible for financing the private sector and increased investment in the private sector to achieve the goals of development, Although the contribution of government banks in the financing of the private sector , but it remains constrained orientations of the monetary authorities and provide support to state institutions, mainly,so, this research studied the role of private banks in the development of investment in the private sector through thevarious types of credit facilities of offered by private banks, we don't found a significant relationship between the credit offered by private banks in Syriaand the size of private investment, which means the weakness of role of these banks to increase investment, the researcher has provided a set of recommendations that will help to find appropriate solutions.
