Due to the problem of unemployment of adverse effects at all levels
of social , economic and political in could threaten the stability of
societies , so it was necessary to work to find solutions to this
serious problem , small and medium enterpri
ses was one of these
solutions to meet them , and the importance of this matter dealt with
the pages of this paper the concept of unemployment defined as the
types and causes of it in the first section , the concept of small and
medium enterprises in terms of the various definitions ,
characteristics and their importance and their role in reducing the
worsening problem of unemployment , in the second topic of it.
This study was conducted in two areas: Misyaf in Hama governorate and
Alshaikhbader in the governorate of Tartous to identify some of economic and
social effects of animal production projects carried out by rural woman who
had a loan for it. The p
rimary data were collected during the period 2012-2013
from a random sample (23 villages in Misyaf, and 13 villages in
Alshaikhbader). Size of the sample was calculated according to Morgan law so
that 243 rural women were valid for analysis. The results showed a high
percentage of successful projects which had an economic and social impact for
91.8% of respondents and these projects had the following effects: 57.2% of
targeted families stated that there was a rise in their spending on food, 92.2%
of them confirmed the improvement of their food quality. Enhancement in
quality and quantity of their clothes and increasing their ability to take family’s
related decisions declared by 61.7% and 44% of respondents respectively.
About 90.5% of rural women were able to make project’s related decisions and
85.6% of targeted women acknowledged a rise in self trust after the
implementation of the project. The results also showed that there was a
significant relationship between each of employment status before having the
loan, project’s annual income and the dependent variable: rural woman’s
successful project (at level of significance 1%) by using Logistic Equation. It
was concluded that micro finance projects had a good impact on empowerment
of rural women and activating their economic and social role. The projects also
increased the family income and improving the living situation.
This research aimed to study reality small business in Syria between 2001 & 2017,
through discussing, the different definitions of small business and the criteria for
determining them comparison for other countries. It also highlights the reality o
f these
business in Syria over the past sixteen-year. Moreover, it presents the most important
challenges that the work of these business faces, in addition, it discusses the most
prominent laws concerning the small business. Finally, the research presents a number of
recommendations to activate the role of this important sector.
The study aimed to look at the
importance of small and medium enterprises, and to identify the
financing constraints faced by small and medium enterprises in
Syria and that hamper their growth and development and to identify
the role of banks and financial institutions and their difficulties in
financing small and medium enterprises sector in Syria.

لها استراتيجية شاملة لتجعل منها الحجر الأساس في البناء الاقتصادي للبلد. كما أنها أجادت توظيف واستغلال هذه المشروعات في تغذية المشروعات الكبرى بالمنتجات الصغيرة والو
سيطة.
أما بالنسبة لموضع في سورية فقد عانى الاقتصاد السوري من مشاكل عديدة تمثلت في مجموعة من القضايا الاقتصادية التي شكلت بمجملها مجموع العوائق التي ساهمت في الحد من تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، كان أهمها البطالة بكافة أنواعها، حيث لم يسمح نطاق الإنتاج والأساليب الفنية للإنتاج باستيعاب فائض عرض قوة العمل.
In the past, the traditional way of thinking and the fact that woman generally inherits her social roles from her mother, limited woman's work into a very traditional patterns what restricted her involvement and ambition in the society.
However, pr
ogress in social and economic and educational system going on in the society, requires changing in woman's role and status, Currently, the process of woman empowerment becomes a pressing necessity which demand searching for suitable and effective ways for achieving good results. However, the empowerment process requires making real changing in educational, economic, social, sanitary and political situation over all the society.
One of the suitable mean which can help to empower women in the community is raising micro enterprises due to its flexible nature. Hence, we should encourage women's work in this sector, and work to defeat the difficulties facing them in their seeks, this will provide real help for them to play a pioneer role in production process, what will reflect positively on woman and her family and the whole society, that empowered women are important pushing factor in the development process.
This study aimed to clarify the role of technological innovation in its dimensions (innovation in product, innovation in operations, innovation in research and development) in enhancing the competitive advantage of small enterprises. Their number is
2312 workers, where the researcher obtained this number through the records of workers in administrative affairs, in order to know the role of technological innovation in improving competitive advantage. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach within the framework of explaining the role of technological innovation dimensions in enhancing the competitive advantage. A main hypothesis was formulated that included three sub hypotheses. The researcher used the questionnaire to collect the data that was analyzed by Statistical package for social sciences. SPSS(20). The study reached a set of results, from which correlation between technological innovation in its dimensions (innovation in product, innovation in operations, innovation in research and development) and the promotion of competitive advantage, which means a statistically significant relationship between Technological innovation and promotion of competitive advantage The study recommended the necessity of promoting the adoption of competitive advantage in the project by increasing mutual trust between the organization and customers, and the organizations having a large number of technological innovations to achieve customer satisfaction.
