This study was conducted in two areas: Misyaf in Hama governorate and Alshaikhbader in the governorate of Tartous to identify some of economic and social effects of animal production projects carried out by rural woman who had a loan for it. The primary data were collected during the period 2012-2013 from a random sample (23 villages in Misyaf, and 13 villages in Alshaikhbader). Size of the sample was calculated according to Morgan law so that 243 rural women were valid for analysis. The results showed a high percentage of successful projects which had an economic and social impact for 91.8% of respondents and these projects had the following effects: 57.2% of targeted families stated that there was a rise in their spending on food, 92.2% of them confirmed the improvement of their food quality. Enhancement in quality and quantity of their clothes and increasing their ability to take family’s related decisions declared by 61.7% and 44% of respondents respectively. About 90.5% of rural women were able to make project’s related decisions and 85.6% of targeted women acknowledged a rise in self trust after the implementation of the project. The results also showed that there was a significant relationship between each of employment status before having the loan, project’s annual income and the dependent variable: rural woman’s successful project (at level of significance 1%) by using Logistic Equation. It was concluded that micro finance projects had a good impact on empowerment of rural women and activating their economic and social role. The projects also increased the family income and improving the living situation.

The current crisis has been deteriorating in Syria since the spring of 2011 with an armed conflict which is causing catastrophic effects on development performance through the wide-spread destruction of infra-structure as well as the capabilities a nd potential economic losses which will impact upon the prospects for both current and future generations. It was those economic and social policies which were already ineffective for the government during the past decade - before the current crisis played a key role in this situation. In addition, there were the objective conditions of other economic sanctions placed upon Syria by the United States, and later by the European Union, including other pressures to force Syria to abandon its own vision of economic development and the ways to solve the Arab - Israeli conflict. The aim of this study is to shed light on those economic and social policies and their results and then to estimate the economic losses which have been caused by acts of sabotage by armed gangs by using a methodology based on the comparison of economic and social indicators during the crisis in 2011 and 2012. This methodology will take into account those economic and social policy indicators which would be determined without the current crisis and by also assuming the continuation of the pre-crisis effects. The research has intended to identify the economic impact of Livestock Development project, which pursued small raisers in the middle region, A class random sample was used to include (11) villages from Homs governorate and (2) villages from Hama governorate. This sample actually contained (75) beneficiaries of project by taking percentage (12%) from total number of the beneficiaries, whereas total number of the beneficiaries' project was (613) as from the beginning of the project till the end of 2015.
This research was conducted in Lattakia province during the year 2012 first, to identify the current status of the production residues and agro-processing materials in the province and, second, to introduce modern methods of taking advantage of the m and raising their nutritional value. Results showed that, the most agricultural residues are not optimally used, instead, they were disposed and accumulated causing substantial losses and environmental pollution. Results showed that, the investment average ratio of legume, vegetables, cereals, and fruit trees were 75%, 65%, 60% and 40% consensually This research conclusion shows that, the optimal use of barley residue is a source of cheap protein units that are necessary for animals feeds; where the cost per unit of digested protein resulting from urea treated hays amounts to 0.5 S.Y.P. This amount represents one fifth of the cost of protein unit from barley. Also, the use of wheat straw in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms achieve significant economic results, the net profit resulting from the cultivation area of 10 m2 of oyster mushrooms using 30 kg of wheat straw was about 81000 S.P. In addition to that, the research results show the importance of agricultural waste in biogas production and the resulting compost, which in turn has achieved excellent results when fertilizing crops with it. The increase in the yield of maize, wheat, faba bean and vegetables were 35.7%, 12.5%. 6.6% and 14.1-20.6% consensually.

Therefore, our economical study on cotton includes several aspects such as agricultural, productivity, trading, social and industrialization. The study is based on official statistical data, which was been analyzed and discussed in according with certified scientific principles for such studies.
