The study focused on the following problem: Is there an impact of the Corona pandemic on the tourist demand for accommodation facilities in Lattakia Governorate?. The study aimed at the following: To clarify the reality of the tourist demand for acco
mmodation facilities before the Corona pandemic, in addition to determining the changes in the structure of the tourist demand in the accommodation facilities (hotels, chalets and furnished apartments, and visitors) during the period of the Corona pandemic in the Lattakia Governorate in 2020. A descriptive analytical approach was used. The study found a set of results, the most important of which are: The Corona pandemic affected the overall tourism demand for accommodation facilities in the Lattakia Governorate significantly in 2020 compared to 2019, There is an improvement in the overall tourism demand for accommodation facilities in the Lattakia Governorate in the three years before the pandemic. The pandemic affected the components of the Tourism Demand (hotels, furnished apartments, visitors) in Lattakia Governorate in 2020, The tourist demand for hotels was affected less than the Tourism demand for chalets, apartments, and visitors.
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine palatal and maxillary arch width
changes during MBT PEA with maxillary first premolars extraction treatment in patients
with Class II division 1 malocclusion.
Material and Methods: Dental casts of
24 Class II division 1 patients (8 males and 16
females) were evaluated. The minimum age of the subjects at the beginning of treatment
was above 16 years with mean age 02.02± 2.82. All patients were treated with extraction of
the maxillary first premolars and MBT PEA. Pre- and post-treatment maxillary and palatal
(inter-canine and inter-molar) widths were measured using a digital calliper of 0.01
accuracy. Paired samples t-test was used to evaluate the treatment changes within total
sample and within males group and females group. Differences between males and females
were tested using independent samples t-test.
Results: At the end of treatment, maxillary and palatal inter-canine widths increased
significantly (P>0.001).The maxillary inter-molar width increased but the values were
statistically insignificant (P<0.05). The palatal inter-molar width increased significantly
(P>0.01). No significant differences were observed between males and females.
Conclusions: Class II division 1 patients treated with extraction of maxillary first
premolars had tendency for an increase in palatal and arch width during treatment except
maxillary inter-molar width. It seems that a more thorough assessment and investigation
including pretreatment arch shape and factors related to anchorage should be carried out.
The objective of the research is to determine the level of customer satisfaction with the
performance of the members of the distribution channels in Joud Company for electrical
household appliances according to the following characteristics: honest
y, responsibility,
knowledge, skills, presentation and negotiation. Through conducting a field study through
which a segment of the customers who are targeting the distribution outlets of the company
were targeted. The sample of the study was a soft sample from the previous society. The
sample consisted of (200) individual, distributed to the customers of the company, and 176
(complete questionnaire) were retrieved and valid for the statistical analysis , With a
response rate of (88%). The questionnaire was designed from 31 words distributed on five
axes that included the characteristics of the members of the distribution channels. The
research reached a number of results, the most important of which is that the level of
customer satisfaction with the performance of the members of the distribution channels
regarding the level of honesty, responsibility, knowledge, skills, presentation and
negotiation in Joud Company for household and electrical appliances is high.
The research focuses on the phenomenon of the foreign direct
investment, and its impact on the economic growth through using
the supply broad money M2 as an indicator to test the impact of
changing in supply at the level of foreign investment in t
he Syrian
economy. It has been necessary in the context of the country's
direction towards economic openness and marked increase in the
independence of the central bank and its growing ability to pursue
monetary policy, and control the money supply , from study the
impact of these monetary decisions and their impact and
effectiveness in attracting investment or expelled it ,and their ability
to create an environment attractive or repulsive for investments
through the rationalization of economic decision.
This study aims to investigate the means of the mesio-distal crown
width of CPMs, their correlations, gender discrepancies and
symmetry according to the sagittal plane in the Syrian Coast
population .The sample consisted of 300 students with a mea
n
age of 16.7 years old .
This study has been conducted on Syrian coastal area in 2013 season, aimed to
determines affecting factors on honey supply at that level Apiary and measure the price
supply elasticity . A field questioner was applied to obtain elementary data of a
random
sample consisted of (304) of Apiary.
The honey production has been estimated to (10.3) kg/hive and (603.8) kg/ apiary in
the study sample, (89.6%) of which were marketed, while the other part has been selfconsumed
at the apiary level. The marketing quantities of honey distributed between five
major marketing canals, the most important one was the direct selling to the consumers,
contributed to (77.1%) of total sample’ marketed quantities, followed by the selling to
wholesalers with contribution ratio estimated to (18.7%), while the selling to retailer types
(Honey specialized shops, Pharmacies, Grocers) have absorbed the remained small honey
quantities.
The supply price elasticity was estimated to (2.318), referring relatively to a high
elasticity supply. The more diversified marketing channels of honey at apiaries level has
positively affected supply quantities, especially when selling to wholesalers. Moreover, the
existence of selling and storing unites in apiaries in addition to the market information
system would also affect positively on supply quantities. The positively effect of apiary
size reflects the weak position of small size apiaries in supply controlling.
The more important result, was the negative impact of expertize and specialization
and education of producers on honey supplied quantities at apiaries level, Remunerating
Precarious conditions of current honey market, pressing on producers belonging to the
qualified category and indicates high risks of shrinking their leverage in honey sub-sector.
This work discusses the feasibility of applying a small and inexpensive GPS, a Field
Strength Meter (FSM) and a personal computer, that can activity and rapidly determine
the Geo-locations of RF cooperated emitter, which have a wide range of both m
ilitary and
civilian applications.
The emitter’s Geo-coordinates can be estimated by a single moving observation
system, which receives signals from the emitter, and measures his Geo-locations and Field
Strengths of the transmitted signal at four Positions
Analytic Formulas are derived to calculate the location of Emitter, which detected
from four Positions by using of Linear Algebra or pseudo range’s solution, The MATLAB
was used to solve the four Equations and to simulate the Geo-Positions on Geo-Map.
Given The Importance of Relationship between Macroeconomic Variables and

The aim of this research is to estimate the structure of production
costs and consequently to derive the economies of scale for the
irrigated tomatoes crop in Al Hasskae region. The search is adopted
on the questionnaire method for sample included
(15) village by
using random sample of villages in AL-Hassake region, and the
number of sampled population (100) farmer to the season
2012/2013, 2013/2014.
