This study aims to explore the attitudes of university professors to the determining factors of employment satisfaction as regards salary, functional security, empowerment, relationships and social value.
To achieve the objectives of this study, the
researchers constructed a questionnaire consisting of 28 questions in order to collect primary data from the study sample, which consisted of 150 university professors at private and governmental universities.
The researcher distributed 150 questionnaires, of which 120 were returned.
These questionnaires were validated for statistical analysis.
The most important results were as follows:
- There are no significant differences between the members of the academic staff who work in the private or governmental universities in Syria concerning: salary and remunerations; relationships with colleagues; relationship with management, and empowerment.
- There are significant differences between them concerning: their
relationship with students; job security and social value.
- This study had also proved that the priorities of the academic staff about factors causative of satisfaction vary relating to the university sector (governmental or private). . .
The research has aimed at recognizing the degree of functional satisfaction for
kindergarten teacher women in Tartous and Lattakia governorates. It has also aimed at
recognition of differences in the level of satisfaction according to four variable
s. The
research has used the descriptive and analytical method and the specimen has included
(180) teacher women of the kindergartens in two governorates. In order to achieve its aims
the research has used a questionnaire of four axis and (62) parties representing the
functional satisfaction of kindergarten teacher women. The results have indicated that
teacher women are satisfied with looking after children, where as they are somewhat
satisfied with three axis the results have also shown significant difference in the degree of
functional satisfaction according to the variable of the relation attachment- connection of
the kindergarten in favor of the public kindergartens, it has also been shown significant
differences according to the variable of the social status in favor of single teacher women.
There have also been significant difference according to the variable of experience in favor
of experienced with less than five years. so, there have been significant difference
according to the variable of educational level in favor of teachers with secondary
certificates and intermediate institute. finally the research has offered many suggestion.
This study aimed at exploring the effect of the empowerment in job satisfaction
among workers at Syrian banks .To achieve the objectives of study a questionnaire was
developed to collect data from the study sample, a total of 120 questionnaires wer
e
distributed of which 90 questionnaires were returned and were ready for analysis Data
were
analyzed using a number of statistical techniques including: the mean, standard
deviationand Stepwise Multiple Regression, ..etc. it was found that the independent
variables of empowerment (effective communication, motivation, training, and team work)
affect the dependent variable (job satisfaction).While the delegation of authority does not
have a statistically significant effect.
The study aims to identify the effect of Physical and moral
incentives which provided to employees in the Cement's factory in
Tartous on their satisfaction on their work, and to shed some light
on the incentive systems applied to employees in that sector.
The research aims to detect the level of achievement motivation and job satisfaction among teachers of art education, and research also aims to find out the relationship between achievement motivation and job satisfaction they have, as well as knowin
g the impact of the interaction between (gender, qualification and experience) at the level of job satisfaction and achievement motivation among teachers of art education, the sample consisted of (125) teachers of teachers of art education in Tartous city, the tools included two measurements of achievement motivation and job satisfaction, during the academic year of (2015 - 2016) after the Validity and the Reliability was established. The descriptive approach was used. Findings showed that achievement motivation and job satisfaction level among teachers of art education was average ,as findings revealed the presence of statistically significant relationship between achievement motivation and job satisfaction among teachers, as well as the results did not show an effect of the interaction between (gender, qualification and experience) at the level of job satisfaction and achievement motivation among teachers of art education. The research proposed several suggestions about proceeding a number of related studies.
This study aims at investigating the organizational commitment to
job satisfaction of the teaching staff at Jordanian private Universities. It
