إن اقتصاد المعرفة، أصبح مثار جدل في الآونة الأخيرة لدى أصحاب الفكر الاقتصادي و الاجتماعي، إذ
أن في رأي البعض أن المعرفة هي الباب الوحيد نحو تعظي التنافسية، بيد أن الآخرين يرون في سلبيات
وفرة المعرفة ما يمكن أن يؤدي إلى غير ذلك.
و من هنا حاولت هذه الدراسة أن تبين تأثير اقتصاد المعرفة على التنمية التكنولوجية و الاقتصادية
و البشرية في سورية موضحة الإيجابيات و السلبيات في إطار نظري مدللا أحياناً، و معتمداً على حالات
دول بعينها أحياناً أخرى.
Recently, knowledge-based economy became a controversial issue among economists. As many of them consider knowledge to be the only way to maximize competitiveness, others see that knowledge has negative impacts, which would lead to other than that.
This study attempted to show the impact of knowledge on technology and economic and human development in Syria. Pointing out the positives and negatives in a theoretical framework. sometimes, demonstrating and sometimes, depending on the situations of certain other countries.
