This study investigated the Persistence of Deltamethrin on Apple, Grape, Tomato and Cucumber. as follows:The grape and apple trees were sprayed with Deltamethrin at rate 250 Cm3/ha, while Cucumber and tomato were sprayed with Deltamethrin at rate 150 cm3/ha. The half-life of Deltamethrin was 5.36, 5.78, 2.32, 2.11 days on grape, apple, tomato and cucumber respectively. The calculated safety periods of Deltamethrin were 7, 4, 0, 3 days for grape, apple, cucumber and tomato respectively. Although the pesticide container label, states that crops can be consumed immediately after spraying.

Study was conducted at Hama on summer ١٩٩٨ to determine the Persistence of two pesticides, the Organophosphorus Dimethoate, and the Pyrethroid Deltamethrin, on the Grapes.
This research aimsto study the effect of single and mixed infection of Potato Y Virus (PVY) and Cucumber mosaic virus(CMV) on the number of leaves, number of branches, plant height and stem circumference of tomato plants (cv.Elegro and Local). The ex periment was carried out in 2012 in a greenhouse in Tartous. Results show that the interactions in both varieties to virus infections are different. The mixed infections cause slight and weak effects compared to single infections. This is probably due to the antagonistic relationship between Potato Y virus and Cucumber mosaic virus and their effects on mean number of leaves, mean number of branches, mean height of plants, and mean stem circumference. Tomato plants' stems were (Elegro 106.42, 16.75, 103.58 cm, 4.84cm.; Local 94.42,15, 87.17 cm, 4.59 cm, respectively). Consequently, the timing of mixed infection playsarole in appearance, development and effect on other viruses.
The objective of this study was to study the economic characteristics of non-irrigated apples and grapes in Syria. The study depended on published and unpublished data from Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, during the period 2000 – 2014 . The data is related to the cultivated area, production costs and prices. Certain economic indicators (net income, profitability of invested SP), as well as the most important marketing indicators (marketing share, marketing margin, marketing efficiency) were estimated, to clarify the progress in the marketing process of these important crops in Syria, because the farmers are still suffered from increasing production costs and decline in their share of the price that had been paid by end consumers, in addition to their inability to sell their production.
The investigation was conducted during 2013-2014 in Al-Moroj - Baniyas - Tartous. The effect of grafting cucumber (Hybrid Amir F1 and Potenza F1) on (TZ 148 F1) rootstock on growth and production was studied. The experiment contained 4 treatments (ungrafted Amir F1 and Potenza F1, and grafted ones on Cucurbita hybrid). The results showed that grafted cucumber (Amir F1) on (TZ 148 F1) was significantly superior to other treatments in leaf area (15368.79 cm2.plant-1) and total production (21.58 kg .m-2). Grafting cucumber (Potenza F1) on (TZ148 F1) leaded to a significant decrease in each of plant height (113.25 cm), number of secondary branches (7.5 branch . plant-1), number of female flowers (94.13 flower . plant-1), number of fruits (38.13 fruit . plant-1) and total production (14.61 kg .m-2). The earliness in grafted cucumber (Amir F1 and Potenza F1) on (TZ 148 F1) (0.19 and 0.28 kg .m-2 respectively) was significantly decreased compared to ungrafted plants (0.43 and 0.54 kg .m-2 respectively). Grafting on (TZ 148 F1) didn't affected the fruit qualitative characteristics.
The study was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of Pseudomonas chlororaphis MA342, Serratia plymuthica HRO-C48K, Bacillus subtillis B2g, B. subtillis FZB27 to induce systemic resistance in Tomato plants against Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) under greenhouse conditions. Tomato seeds submerged in suspension of Pseudomonas chlororaphis MA342, Serratia plymuthica HRO-C48, Bacillus subtillis B2g and B. subtillis FZB27 9×109cfu . plants emerged from these seed were inoculated with CMV after 10 days of planting. The time of beginning symptoms was recorded, Disease incidence, disease severity, area under disease progress curve AUDPC, progress of infection disease degrees during the study period were calculated using virtual symptoms . pyroxidas enzyme activity was determined, Some growth parameters such as Plant height, foliage fresh weight, root fresh weight , foliage dry weight, root dry weight were observed after 30 DAI. Results of this study showed that seed treatment with Pseudomonas chlororaphis MA342, Serratia .plymuthica HRO-C48, Bacillus subtillis B2g, B. subtillis FZB27 significantly decreased the diseases incidence on treated and inculated plants which ranged between 40% - 66.66% ,compared with un treated and inculated control 93.33% Without the presence of significant differences between the bacterial treatments. significantly decreased the diseases severity on treated plants which ranged between 45.53 %- 62.2% compared with inculated and un treated control 88.86% .Without the presence of significant differences between the bacterial treatments. Peroxidas activity on treated plants increased by Compared with untreated plants. Seed treatments with bacteria significantly increased the plant growth. The plant height , fresh and dry weight of foliage, fresh and dry weight of root on treated plants were significantly higher than those of inculated and un-treated plants according to LSD 5%.where bacteria reduced the rate of stunting and the rate of decline mild and dry weight of foliage and mild and dry weight of the root occurring due to infection with the Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV).
