This research aimsto study the effect of single and mixed infection of Potato Y Virus (PVY) and Cucumber mosaic virus(CMV) on the number of leaves, number of branches, plant height and stem circumference of tomato plants (cv.Elegro and Local). The experiment was carried out in 2012 in a greenhouse in Tartous. Results show that the interactions in both varieties to virus infections are different. The mixed infections cause slight and weak effects compared to single infections. This is probably due to the antagonistic relationship between Potato Y virus and Cucumber mosaic virus and their effects on mean number of leaves, mean number of branches, mean height of plants, and mean stem circumference. Tomato plants' stems were (Elegro 106.42, 16.75, 103.58 cm, 4.84cm.; Local 94.42,15, 87.17 cm, 4.59 cm, respectively). Consequently, the timing of mixed infection playsarole in appearance, development and effect on other viruses.

Research summary
Critical review

The study was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of Pseudomonas chlororaphis MA342, Serratia plymuthica HRO-C48K, Bacillus subtillis B2g, B. subtillis FZB27 to induce systemic resistance in Tomato plants against Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) under greenhouse conditions. Tomato seeds submerged in suspension of Pseudomonas chlororaphis MA342, Serratia plymuthica HRO-C48, Bacillus subtillis B2g and B. subtillis FZB27 9×109cfu . plants emerged from these seed were inoculated with CMV after 10 days of planting. The time of beginning symptoms was recorded, Disease incidence, disease severity, area under disease progress curve AUDPC, progress of infection disease degrees during the study period were calculated using virtual symptoms . pyroxidas enzyme activity was determined, Some growth parameters such as Plant height, foliage fresh weight, root fresh weight , foliage dry weight, root dry weight were observed after 30 DAI. Results of this study showed that seed treatment with Pseudomonas chlororaphis MA342, Serratia .plymuthica HRO-C48, Bacillus subtillis B2g, B. subtillis FZB27 significantly decreased the diseases incidence on treated and inculated plants which ranged between 40% - 66.66% ,compared with un treated and inculated control 93.33% Without the presence of significant differences between the bacterial treatments. significantly decreased the diseases severity on treated plants which ranged between 45.53 %- 62.2% compared with inculated and un treated control 88.86% .Without the presence of significant differences between the bacterial treatments. Peroxidas activity on treated plants increased by Compared with untreated plants. Seed treatments with bacteria significantly increased the plant growth. The plant height , fresh and dry weight of foliage, fresh and dry weight of root on treated plants were significantly higher than those of inculated and un-treated plants according to LSD 5%.where bacteria reduced the rate of stunting and the rate of decline mild and dry weight of foliage and mild and dry weight of the root occurring due to infection with the Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV).
This study aimed at studying the effect of using three species of bacteria (PGPR) Azotobacter chroococcum Bacillus megaterium and Frateuria aurantia in three inoculation manner ( seeds, shoots & seed+shoots) on suppressed the effect of Cucumber mo saic virus (CMV) on tomato plants (pots), Some growth parameters such as plant height, number of leaves on plant, foliage fresh weight, root fresh weight were observed after 60 days. The experiment carried out in 2016 in a greenhouse in Tartus.
This study was conducted in the village of Almetrkyah located in the southern coastal plain of Lattakia city during 2014. In order to study the effect of Cucumber mosaic virus on growth and development of two varieties of peppers, hybrid ESTAR F1 H (sweet pepper) and Demer(spicy pepper). This study included eight treatments, four treatments for each variety. Plants were mechanically inoculated in three different stages, preflowering bloom, flowering andpost-flowering stages each beside its non-inoculated control. The result should that, the appearance of Cucumber mosaic virus symptoms on infected sweet hybrid, was within four days before its appearance on inoculated spicy variety, symptoms were leaf crinkle, leaf deformation, yellow patches and plant stunting. Inoculated plants showed reduction in number of leaves, number of branches and yield. Plants in pre flowering bloom stage were more effected by virus infection in both varieties. Meannumber of leaves per plant of ESTAR F1 H hybrid were 130 in pre flowering bloom stage compared with 170 leaf/plant in the control treatment. Mean number of branches per plant of ESTAR F1 H hybrid were 43,4 branch/plant in pre flowering bloom stage compared with 56,7branch/plant in the control treatment. Total pepper production per plant was 700,8g in infected plants in preflowering bloom stage compared with 1267,5g/plant in ESTAR F1 H hybrid control. Results of Demer variety take the same results of ESTAR F1 H hybrid. The effect of virus infection on pepper plants were reduced when inoculation were done during flowering stage and post-flowering stage, differences were significant between inoculated plants in both varieties.
The research aims to study the effect of certain organic and amino compounds in the growth and production of tomato under green houses conditions.Hulay F1 hybrid tomato and two organic commercial vehicles differing in composition Hupost and Boldo uzerwere used. The experiment done in a way randomized complete blocks designed , with three replicates per treatment , and 10 plants per replicate . Seedlings WERE Prepared in beet moss using trays of Alstrepor inside the greenhouses.
This study is aimed at studying the effect of using four species of bacteria Plant Growth Promotion Rhizobacteria (PGPR) Azotobacter chroococcum, Rhizobium leguminosarum, Bacillus megaterium and Frateuriaaurantia on the growth, yield and reducing the effect of Cucumber mosaic virus(CMV) on pepper plants in a greenhouse experiment. The observed growth parameters were: plant height, foliage fresh weight, root fresh weight, fruit weight in a green house expirment in Tartous in the season 2016/2017.
