The study was conducted on winter date (15th of Febraury), during 2015 and
2016 seasons, to study the effect of spraying calcium chloride CaCl2
concentrations (2, 4, and 6%), on the manufacture traits assigned in randomized
completely block design (RCBD) with four replicates.
Due to the lack informations on Biochemical of jellyfish in the Syrian waters, the
aim of this paper is determining the nutritional value and organic content for each of the
species Rhopilemanomadica, Pelagianoctiluca and Aequorea forskalea, and co
mpared the
biochemical composition of the three types , so the comparison showed clear differences in
the content of organic material, the sugar were the most concentrated in the three species
and lipid comes in second class, and then followed by the protein content and organic
carbon.A.forskalea was the most containing sugar and R.nomadica the most lipids content,
and P.noctiluca were the most protein content.R.nomadic was the highest content in
organic carbon, R.nomadica and P.noctiluca were convergent contents of organic
phosphorus, while the least contain of organic nitrogenwas in A.forskalea.
Producing of biofuel from crops wastes is considered one of the
advanced eco- friendly technologies. This research was conducted
in the General Commission For Biotechnology in order to study the
possibility to use the juice of sugar sorghum plant
as alternative
substrate to produce bioethanol using S. cerevisiae and optimize
the production’ conditions.
Two hundred fecal samples were randomly collected from various
aged broiler flocks farms, which suffered from diarrhea or
respiratory problem or both in Tartous and Latakia Provinces of
Syria.
This study demonstrated the infection of the broiler
flocks with
Cryptosporidium in Tartous Province of Syria with a rate of 5.6%
only.
The results of tests based on morphology and size of
Cryptosporidium oocysts showed that the parasite is probably
C. baileyi which ranged in size about (6 μm X 4.5 μm).
This study was carried out during 2015to determine some chemical Composition
of the fruit of some distribution phenotypes of Prunus ursina in different regions of
Westrens of Syria.
six natural distribution sites were determined(Duerbsndiana-Alnab
een-Alshohtte-
Helata-Btmazah-Wadeheleen), and 35 trees were determined as samples.
Fruits were harvested and following parameters were determined: dry matter, total
acids (T.A), total soluble solids (T.S.S), and total sugar.
Statistical analysis of investigated phenotypes showed that There were differences
between dry matter, total soluble solids (T.S.S), and total sugar between two groups.
the trees were distributed in two groups (A, B) .The results showed existence of most
trees in whole sits, while (J6 and KA6) were distributed in two different sits(Btmazah and
Duerbsndiana) .
This research has done in aiming for the effect of extract of Nerium oleander plant in
the level of blood sugar and total glucose , triple alglesiredat and total cholesterol on
created albino mouse which has got diabetes. The results showed the fol
lowing:
- A Significant increase in the concentration on bothglucose, triple alglesiredat and
cholesterol through a serum in the blood of created albino mouse which has got diabetes,
while the weight decreases comparing to the control.
- The injection of Aqueous extract led oleander leaves plant with dose of 200 mg / kg
of mouse weight for a period of ten days to a significant decrease of concentration on
glucose ,the rate of total cholesterol and triple alglesiredat, in addition to, the weight has
returned to what it was before the injection.
Macrolophus caliginosus (Hemiptera: Miridae) is a zoophytophagous predator
widely used in integrated pest management programs in both greenhouse and open-field .
Mass rearing of Macrolophus caliginosus is greatly dependent on Ephestia kuehniella
Z
eller (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) eggs as food source. Moreover, the addition of this
factitious prey after the inoculative releases of Macrolophus caliginosus under field
conditions is recommended to facilitate establishment of this mirid. However, E.
kuehniella eggs are expensive and availability is limited. One possible strategy to reduce
the amount of E. kuehniella eggs needed is the provision of sugar. This study was
conducted during the period between May and November in 2014 in the labs of the
Lattakia center of rearing bio enemis. In this work, the effect of sucrose as nutritional
supplement on selected life-history traits of M.caligenosus was studied. The addition of
sucrose (100 g/l) ad libitum to a diet of E. kuehniella eggs significantly increased the
progeny of Macrolophus caliginosus and did not affect survival of nymphs nor
developmental time. Moreover, addition of sucrose significantly reduced the number of E.
kuehniella eggs consumed. These results may have practical implications of interest in
mass rearing systems of M.caliginosus and its management in fields and greenhouses as a
part of integrated control programs.
This study was carried out on a 17 years Vineyard (Helwani,
Betamooni. Cvs) when the study started. Two deficit irrigation
treatments were studied (%88, 60%), in addition to the control (full irrigation), and each treatment included three replicati
ons. Drip irrigation technique was applied (one irrigation line for each tree line, and eight drippers for each tree). Fruit yield and sugar
percentage were observed under different water treatments.
The study included the reality of marketing crop sugar beet in Syria in general, and
in al ghabb 's area , in particular, has shown results that the problems and difficulties of
marketing sugar beet back to the non-compliance of farmers date of Agr
iculture
appropriate and space devoted to the cultivation of the crop sugar beet and assessed by the
General Authority to manage and develop Al Ghabb's area, in addition to the failure of the
extension units in turn supply the deadline cards provide timely and sufficient quantities to
farmers as a result of the process control system of favoritism in the distribution of cards
supply extension units.
In addition to the low energy manufacturing to the sugar mill, and its inability to
absorb the quantities produced in excess of the agricultural plan, along with breakdowns
lab frequent result gave the mechanisms used in it, and the need for frequent maintenance,
and low efficiency of some sections of the lab, and the control system favoritism determine
the degree of sweetness, as shown by the results Search also "high production and
marketing costs for sugar beet crop and is higher than its price.
The potential growing of mobile devices, in terms of hardware
and operating systems, has led to rise new innovative methods of
work depending on new generations of mobile phones and tablet
computers in the completion of various works. Therefore a
new
wave arises moving towards the development (or rewriting)
software applications for this type of devices, rather than for
desktop computers. From this perspective, it has been working in
this research on the design of application for technological
calculations of sugar extraction unit working on Android system,
which is the most prevalent system in smartphones and tablets.
Although, this work is devoted to calculate mass balance of
extraction unit, the main interface of the application has been
developed for integrated application which allows moving between
the various operating stations in a sugar factory.
Running the application shows that it is easy to input data,
navigate between multiple interfaces and accuracy of results.
