This study was carried out on a 17 years Vineyard (Helwani,
Betamooni. Cvs) when the study started. Two deficit irrigation
treatments were studied (%88, 60%), in addition to the control (full irrigation), and each treatment included three replicati
ons. Drip irrigation technique was applied (one irrigation line for each tree line, and eight drippers for each tree). Fruit yield and sugar
percentage were observed under different water treatments.
This research was carried out on (10) years old ( Golden delicious & Starking
delicious ) apple trees . which were planted in AlKafron region – Tartus Governorate under
high density system .
The research aims to study the effect of severity of dor
mant pruning on yield of apple
trees during (2012-2013) .
There were the results were found :
1- There wasn't any effect of pruning treatments on total soluble solids content or
total sugars .
2- Pruning treatments were better than control in fruit set in both cultivars , in
Golden delicious, were ( 40.75 - 33.20 %) in severe Pruning and control, respectively , in
starking delicious , were (31.35 – 26.30 %) in severe Pruning and control, respectively ,
and Pruning treatments were better than control in average of weight fruit in both cultivars
, in Golden delicious, were (140.50-129.30) g in severe Pruning and control, respectively ,
in starking delicious , were (151.70-139.90) g in severe Pruning and control, respectively .
3- Pruning treatments resulted to reduce total acidity content .
4- Pruning treatments resulted to reduce yield by (14.19-19.72)% in Golden
delicious and starking delicious , respectively , comparing with control .
The study included the reality of marketing crop sugar beet in Syria in general, and
in al ghabb 's area , in particular, has shown results that the problems and difficulties of
marketing sugar beet back to the non-compliance of farmers date of Agr
iculture
appropriate and space devoted to the cultivation of the crop sugar beet and assessed by the
General Authority to manage and develop Al Ghabb's area, in addition to the failure of the
extension units in turn supply the deadline cards provide timely and sufficient quantities to
farmers as a result of the process control system of favoritism in the distribution of cards
supply extension units.
In addition to the low energy manufacturing to the sugar mill, and its inability to
absorb the quantities produced in excess of the agricultural plan, along with breakdowns
lab frequent result gave the mechanisms used in it, and the need for frequent maintenance,
and low efficiency of some sections of the lab, and the control system favoritism determine
the degree of sweetness, as shown by the results Search also "high production and
marketing costs for sugar beet crop and is higher than its price.
The study was conducted in 2011 on 6-years-old citrus trees "Washington navel
141". It contained four treatments with three replicates for each treatment. The results
showed that:
The wastewater treatments showed superiority on the control in the
number of
vegetative growth and its length.
The number of inflorescence buds, was increased in the second treatment (irrigation
with 50% treated wastewater +50% normal water) (5. 37) which dominated the other
treatments.
The weight of fruit was affected by treated wastewater irrigation. Second treatment
(irrigation with 50%treated wastewater+50 % normal water) was better than the control
treatment. It was increased by (308. 3 g) compared to (259. 5 g) for the control treatment.
Fruit yield production per tree, was increased by second treatment (irrigation with
50% treated wastewater+50 % normal water) (28. 9kg) compared to (15. 3kg) for the
control.
Treated wastewater irrigation had positive effects in the quality of fruit
(Total sugar %), (T. S. S %) and the coefficient of maturity were increased in second and
third treatment compared to other treatments, while (T. A %) was decreased in all
wastewater treatments.
In spite of an increase of farming experiance, producers are still facing
many obstacles which affect negatively on their final income.
It is clear from this study the decrease of productivity per unit area of wheat
and cotton crops and high produ
ction cost, caused decrease of the final income.
Most of the farmers, were not satisfied with cultivation of these crops, due to
increase of production cost, unsuitable price, lack of cultivation requirements
and the prices rising…..etc.
Also, the extension services offered to the farmers are poor and not at the
required level. That was the most important reason for the decrease of the
productivity. Consequently, it is possible to develop the agricultural activity by
improving the extension services and decreasing the prices of production
requirement and improving the selling prices. Therefore, it is necessary to
decrease the production costs of wheat and cotton crops, increase their
productivity, improve and activate the extension units work and spread
awareness and knowledge about modern methods of cultivation as well as ways
of decreasing the productivity costs, the factors which help to increase the
productivity from unit area, and acquainting the farmers to other crops, which
could be alternative crops in the future.

للدخول في
اتفاقية المنظمة العالمية للتجارة الدولية (الغات).
بعد توقيع هذه الاتفاقية فإنه لا مكان للمنتجات و السلع التي لا تتطابق مع المواصفات القياسية
العالمية، لذا من الضروري الاتجاه نحو مراقبة الجودة للمنتجات الوطنية السـورية و تحسـين
نوعيتها لتكون قادرة على منافسة منتجات البلدان المتقدمة في الغات.
لوحظ من نتيجة هذه الدراسة أنَّ منتجات الصناعة السورية مطابقـة للمواصـفات العالميـة
و منافسة للسلع و المواد و المنتجات العالمية، و هناك إمكانية لتصدير هذه المنتجـات للأسـواق
العالمية.
After the analyzing of formation pressure data and pressure
interference tests between wells in Ash Shaer field, the field has
been divided initially into three main blocks, then a material
balance model has been built for the field using MBAL software.
This model has proved the previous result besides answering some
problems which hasn’t been solved by the analytical method.
