The aim of the current research is to know the degree to which the students of the Kindergarten Department in the College of Education at Al-Baath University use some habits of the productive mind, and to reveal the significance of the differences be tween the average responses of female students on the scale of productive mind habits according to the variable of the school year, so the research followed the descriptive approach, by preparing a scale of habits of mind. The Productive Mind, which included seven mental habits selected from Costa and Calick's list (Costa & Calick, 2009), and its application to a random sample of (401) female teachers distributed over the four school years, representing 45% of the original research community. The results of the research revealed that female students in the first year used the habits of the productive mind at a slightly low degree with an average of (2.0158) and a percentage (40.31%), while the degree of use of the second year students of the habits of a productive mind was medium with an average of (2.696) and a percentage (53.92%), as well as the degree of The third year students’ use of the habits of the productive mind is medium with an average of (3,100) and the percentage (62%), as well as the degree of use of the fourth year students with an average of (3.328) and the percentage (66.56%). The productive mind according to the variable of the school year, where the value of P (17,524) came with a probability value (0.000) less than 0.05, and the (LSD) test showed the direction of differences in favor of the second, third and fourth year students.
This research sought to illuminate the skills of self-learning as one of the requirements of the knowledge society today. A fundamental aspect is that the student of Riyadh must be able to form the personality of the researcher, reader and evaluator to make them achieve their objectives and solve their concerns towards the experience of change and innovation.
The purpose of the research is to find out the extent to which female teachers in the specialization of kindergartens at Al-Baath University have some self-learning skills, and differences in their degrees of practice are defined according to the var iable of the school year. The sample of the study consisted of 67 female students and the fourth year (28) female students and the first (39) students, randomly selected from the original community. The research sample includes a measure of some self-learning skills and includes skills: preparation and planning for learning - research and reading - active reading - review and memorization, where the final form of the (25) item distributed in the skills mentioned, after adjusting in accordance with the views of a number of arbitrators in Faculty of Education, Baath University, see Appendix (1). The results showed that there were significant differences between the female students in the exercise of these skills according to the variable of the academic year for the fourth year students. This article explores the possibility of establishing a unique feminine aesthetics within the larger domain of female body politics in the French writer Anaїs Nin's controversial work, House Of Incest (1936). The article questions the apparent subm erging of the female body in the literary representations of the canon. This research also attempts to study how Nin's formulation of the "womb writing" extends and, actually, precedes the tradition of l'ecriture feminine by way of analyzing the female body's engagement with and commitment to a continuous existence through the body's most basic organic function; i.e. (re)productivity.
The study aimed to get acquainted with the situation of field training in the department of kindergartens in the faculty of Education at Tishreen University, and this training role in giving female students the necessary skills to practice the care er of an educator from the view point of fourth year female students. The two researchers followed the descriptive approach. The subject of the study, which is a questionnaire, was distributed to a random sample consisting of seventy female students form November 1st to December 15th, 2014.Mathematical medians and relative weights were used to analyse data. The study got to know the most important points of strength and weakness in the field training programme. The study also showed the students, appreciation of the programme's ability to give them the necessary skills to be educators in the future. It also showed a medium degree of satisfaction with the programme in general. The study recommended an increase in field training hours as well as an increase in the number of kindergartens where female students can train so that they can apply theoretical knowledge more practically.
This paper discusses the ways in which Constance Naden, a major female Victorian poet, used the dramatic monologue genre as a tool for female empowerment and for the acquisition a female voice. It explores the major aspects and functions of tradition al dramatic monologues and examines the ways in which Naden departed from these traditions: Firstly by redefining the character of the misfit, and secondly by giving the female the role of the active speaker, rendering the male a mere passive silent listener. These aspects are mainly studied in the light of four of Naden's major monologues: "The Astronomer," "The Carmelite Nun,""The Confession," and "The Sister of Mercy.
The research highlights the significance of studying and assessing the multidimensional concept of the self so as to guarantee the psychological health of the individuals who form the basis of a well-being society, and its essential role in persona lity development that positively reflects on society. It tends to make certain whether the concept of the self changes according to sex and residence. A few theories and approaches on the definition of the self have been mentioned, next to the potential difficulties while assessing such a concept.
This research deals with Hypochondriasis for a sample of Female Nurses in the Public Hospital in Damascus, the aims of this research are; knowing the percentage of the spread of hypochondriasis disorder in those working in nursing profession (sample members). -Knowing the differences in hypochondriasis in the female nurses according to the following variables: (Age, family status, number of years of service). Research sample: The sample is composed of 400 female nurses who work in the public and private hospitals in Damascus city. The research tool: Hypochondriasis scale is used, prepared by Fayez Al-Haj (1991). Research methodology: the researcher has used the analytical descriptive methodology which is considered the suitable methodology for the psychiatric, social and educational sciences. Statistical methods used: The raw marks of the sample members and their processing through the Statistical package (spss). The most important results of the study: - Percentage numbers amounting to 24% of the female nurses (sample members) suffer hypochondriasis. - There are no differences in hypochondriasis in the female nurses according to age variable. - There are differences in hypochondriasis in female nurses according to the family status variable. There are denoting differences between the two means of (married) class and (widow)class in favor of the later one, differences between (married) class and (divorced) class in favor of the later one, differences between (single) class and (widow)class in favor of the later one, and differences between (single) class and (divorced) class in favor of the later one. - There are differences in hypochondriasis in the female nurses according to the variable of number of years of service between the two means of class (1-5) and class (11-15) in favor of class (11-15). Moreover, denoting differences have appeared between the two means of class (1-5) and class (16-up) in favor of class (16-up). This study aims to identify the Saudi female student tendencies towards the consumption rationalization culture and knowledge about it. Sources of this knowledge and the student’s contribution to the enhancement and dissemination of this culture. The field study consists of a sample of 550 students at the department of Sociology. Studies in the female student’s university studies center. The aim is to test the before mentioned objectives through a questionnaire designed within the appropriate questionnaire characteristics. The study has concluded a number of important results including the following: The knowledge about the culture of consumption rationalization is obtained from limited resources. In addition, the students play a very limited role disseminating this culture. The statistical analysis of the study’s results indicates a statistical relevance between the social background and adoption of the student and her knowledge of the consumption rationalization culture. The study also shows lack of interest in the civil society of this culture. The study develops several recommendations and suggestions for the university, the society and the family based on the general results it reached.
This study investigates the extent of using the Internet by teachers in Irbid Second Directorate of Education and the obstacles which hindered its usage. The sample of the study consists of (172) male and female teachers who where chosen randomly. The findings reveal that all male and female teachers use the Internet, and that there were significant statistical differences (α = 0.05) over all degrees of using the Internet in the educational field due to the differences in the qualification, knowledge of English language and computer. Furthermore, the findings reveal that there were no significant statistical differences (α = 0.05) due to sex, specialization, experience, usage per days, usage per hours.
