Narcissism and the Image of the Other in Omar Bin Abi Rabee’a’s Poetry

This study aims at analyzing the poetic content of the poetry of an Omayyad poet who was born to a wealthy family which was so close to the Court. The objective of the study is to shed light on one of the most salient features of literary creativity and literary masterpieces-whether poetic or prose- which is the human essence that stimulates human creativity and the doublet of this essence, that is the Other. This study attempts to identify the most prominent subjective features in the poetry of Omar as a famous poet who became a phenomenon in the field of poetic and literary creativity through mastering flirtation poets and poetry in his era. It should be mentioned that the image of the Other in Omar’s poetry examined in this study is the image of woman which considerably resembles that image presented in the work of the majority of other poets. However, this same image varies in Omar’s poetry. Woman is represented as the chaste, beloved, and the rebellious.

Theory of Language in Essence and Activity

This research studies the linguistic theory throughout Arabic Language characteristics and laws which could be Found in structure of language. It also draws attention to the constituents of the mental existence, and connects them with the linguistic deduction. This study discusses the linguistic phenomena, and analyzes the linguistic structure in the same way wherefrom we can see the language as sensual existence phenomenon overlapping with abstract lawsof thebehavior of things.Subsequently, this study tries to confirm the relevance, on theone hand, between the language as a human phenomenon and the mental laws. On the other hand, it relates to the language and the material laws bringing out the beauty of the Arabic language.

The Manifestation of the Ego-Image in Al-Farazdaq's Poetry

This paper attempts at focusing on analyzing the poetic structure of a pre-and-post- Islamic poet who witnessed and lived in the early Islamic and Umayyad Eras. With regard to the objective, the paper is intended to shed light on the major features and master pieces of literary output, be its prose or verse, which is the human ego, the driving force and dynamo behind any human creativity. In this regard, the paper attempts at categorizing the major subjective characteristics of a famous poet, such as Al-Farazdaq, who represented a unique phenomenon on the creative, literary, and poetic scene, through the poetic satirical exchanges with Jareer, the Umayyad poet laureate. All this is being dealt with through trying to trace the major characteristics of this ego and the impact it had left on the Arab poetic output.

The poblem of reconciling the wisdom and Sharia in the Islamic Middle Ages ((Kendi - Farabi - Ibn Rushd))

The paper Sheds light on one of the most important problems among the whole problems that we find in the history of philosophy, namely, the problem of the relationship between wisdom and Sharia law, trying to disclose the nature of the relationship between wisdom and law in order to detect intellectual conflicts or issues that the philosophers tried to detect the pivotal and key points between wisdom and Sharia law, and philosophy and religion, through the general cultural state prevailing in the Arab society during the Islamic middle ages. In addition, we will try to clarify the theoretical and methodological foundations of the problem of reconciling and highlight the ideological goals that drove the philosophers to reconcile between wisdom and Sharia.

Features of Human Self in the Poetry of al-Akhtal al-Kabeer

This piece of research endeavour to analyse the poetical structure of one of the most recognizable Umayyad poets. He was the poet of the sensitive imagination that is dominated by mind. He used to handle, and as well critically probe, each of his poems singly. This had manifested his poetry as well-structured, fully-fledged talendedness, accurate expressions and fluent pouring of thoughts. He stood as one of the most apparent three poets of their period: Jareer and al-Farazdaq. He had highlighted the literary heritage and superby handled it. This piece of research attempts to concentrate on the most obvious characteristics of the human self as observed by al-Akhtal al-Kabeer through penetrating his literary style, the most distinguishable psychological features, and studying these features quite considerably. Toward this temptation, the research tends to examine these most recognizable features in the anthology of the great poet al-Akhtal al-Kabeer where he constitutes a unique experience in the field of the literary and poetical creativity: he surpasses his peers and contemporary poets, and gains the admiration of the authoritative circles. All this continues in an attempt to recognize the the most promoted features of this self, and the deep influence that the Arabic literary production witnesses.

Conscientious Self in Andalusian Poetry

Self takes a conscientious form when it embodies its life values in its world, so its feelings and sensations crystallize. When conscientious self is creative by itself, it reflects these emotions in the art it creates, and then this art (poetry) can be named as conscientious. Arabic poetry lasted in Al-Andalus for eight centuries; therefore, it is the product of its milieu. Many factors collaborated to determine its tends and characteristics, that is why poetic conscientious self in Al-Andalus singled for itself a specific literary taste which was a response to Al-Andalus reality and its particular nature. Eventually poetic conscientious self offered Al-Andalus singular creative aspects.

Friendship is not a positive social relationship full of moral values .Rather ,it is an essential existential component that has to do with the human soul on all levels starting from the significance of a friend in understanding the other, who represents the major characters in the handled novels of research .The research aims at representing a socialphilosophical compromise of friendship from a comparative perspective dealing with three novels different in time and theme to get the relation which exceeds being an embodiment with which the friend lives with his friend to the self and the other in the major characters which its special world shaped by blending the life experience with the reality portrayed shaped by this relation.In conclusion ,it aims that friendship is a vital active discourse .The most rational part derivate the self of the social weak part , to show his opinion toward self and world.
