This study aimed to assessing the role of school administration in health education in basic education schools in Lattakia city. The researcher used analytical descriptive method. The questionnaire was used to collect the study data from 30 principal s, who were chosen by using simple random sample. The findings indicated that the degree of the role of the school administration in health education in basic education schools of Lattakia city was low average as a whole is (2.42). The degree in achieving the means of health and safety was low average is (2.58), securing good environment suitable for good nutrition was low average is (2.25), and health culture was the lowest average is (2.10). Where achieving hygiene was the highest average is (2.78). This study recommended exploiting and following the applying of the health education programs. Developing the health culture programs of the school pupils and activating the role of health guide in school health field by holding seminars, training courses and sessions.
The research aim to realized discusses the First Grade Secondary Students' Attitudes Towards Learning French in Lattakia City, and to study the different of such attitudes according to variables (sex, branch). To achieve the object of the research a questionnaire has been included (56) methods, distributed to four areas: (the value of French language, used French language outside school, the role of parents in Learning language French, usefulness French language in study and future life). .then applied to a sample of students of (434) ones school year 2016/2017. The present research used the descriptive analytical approach. Validity of the questionnaire was established though a jury of (9) of the teaching staff of educational at Syrian Universities. Pilot sample consisted of (48) students, Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability (0.93( . The research ended up with the following results: - The Attitudes of the first grade secondary students Towards Learning French in Lattakia City was positive. - There were significant statistical differences in attitudes the First Grade Secondary Students toward Learning French according to variable sex in favor of the females. There were significant statistical differences in attitudes the First Grade Secondary Students toward Learning French according to variable branch in favor of the scientific and literary branches. The research introduced following proposals: Interest in learning French language, and Making training courses for French teachers, also Providing schools with supportive materials necessary for improving learning French.
The aim of the research is to identify the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards the use of the inverted learning strategy in teaching science, and to study differences in their attitudes according to gender variables, years of teaching ex perience, scientific qualification and computer literacy. The research was based on a descriptive method. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to a random sample of (200) teachers and schools, (187) of which were fully valid and valid for statistical analysis, with a response rate of (93.5%). The research found a number of results, the most important of which is that the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards the use of the inverted learning strategy in teaching science is positive and relatively important (79.9%). Where they have a desire to use this strategy because of their positive implications for the educational process from their point of view, where teachers emphasize that inverted learning contributes to increasing learning time by transforming the process of home learning and solving homework in the classroom, and provides a stimulating learning environment Share learners in the responsibility of learning. The results showed no statistically significant differences between the average scores of teachers in secondary education in Lattakia in their attitudes towards the use of the inverted learning strategy according to the gender variable, while there were statistically significant differences according to the variables of the academic qualification and the years of teaching experience and computer knowledge.
This study aimed to recognize the parent’s attitudes of normal and hearing impaired pupils towards the inclusion of those pupils in first stage of basic learning. The sample consisted of 40 hearing impaired parents and 40 normal pupils’ parents. T he researcher applied the descriptive analytic approach. The instrument used is a scale for parents’ attitudes towards inclusion hearing impaired pupils in public schools. Then the data were analyzed using SPSS. The results of the study were: 1- There are statistically significant differences in hearing impaired pupils’ parents and normal pupils’ parents for the sake of hearing impaired pupils’ parents in all scale dimensions. 2- There are no statistically significant differences in normal pupils parents towards inclusion according to the variable of gender in the first and fourth dimensions (general attitude towards inclusion, the effect of inclusion program on normal pupils). However there are statistically significant differences in normal pupils parents towards inclusion in second and third dimensions (the parents’ attitudes of hearing impaired and normal pupils towards inclusion and the effect of inclusion on hearing impaired pupils). 3- There are no statistically significant differences in hearing impaired pupils parents towards inclusion according to the variable of gender. 4- There are no statistically significant differences in hearing impaired pupils parents and normal pupils parents towards inclusion according to the variable of educational level.
This piece of research aims to identify the environmental tendencies and practices of secondary school students throughout the schools of the City of Lattakia. To achieve this, the researcher prepared a questionnaire of of 40 points in order to mea sure them; this follows the confirmation of the tool's authenticity and loyalty. The study specimen includes 200 fe/male students over two study groups: the 10th calss and the 11th class (scientific and literary branches) and the 12th class (scientific and literary branches) to trace the disparity among averages, and their various inherent levels. The adopted law of t-test is the Analysis of Variance Tests. Research findings verify: the existence of a statistical difference between male students' orientations and female students' orientations toward environment where females score higher; the existence of statistical difference between the environemental tendencies and practices where tendencies are higher. Findings also reveal the absence of a significant difference between tendencies and practices of secondary school students toward environment and the environmental education due to the variance of the teaching class; however, the scientific or literary specialization affects the environmental tendencies and practices to the benefit of the literary branch students. This can be ascribed to the apparent shortage of students' information and cognizance about environment and the current status of the environmental education in addition to the increase of the environmental problems and their effect on human health. Thus learning is viewed as the right entrance to education in general and to environmental education in particular, and one basis for achieving the environmental awareness, and the change of behaviour and values to cope with the demands of sustainable development.
