The research aims to study the psychometric properties of the Temperament Scale (KTS) among a sample of high school students in the schools of Damascus Governorate, through using varied methods in studying the scale reliability and validity, and through the application of the scale on a sample of high school students in the schools of Damascus Governorate application (700) male and female students.
The aim of the research was to identify the relationship between the two levels of social anxiety and psychological Hardiness among the general secondary school students in Damascus city, and their differences in the levels of social anxiety and psychological Hardiness according to gender and grade. The study sample consisted of (698) male and female students who were randomly selected from the general secondary schools in Damascus. The social anxiety scale (the researcher's preparation) and the mental hardness scale (Maddi & Koshaba, 2001) were applied after verifying their validity and stability.
This research aims to investigate the nature of the correlated relationship between emotional regulation and resilience, as well as to investigate the differences according to the gender. Emotional Regulation Scale for Adolescents (prepared by Al-A ssemi) and Resilience Scale (prepared by Connor and Davidson) have been used. The sample was (40) students of 2nd year of secondary school in Sweidaa Governorate.
The Research aims at recognizing the opinions of public high school teachers in Lattakia governorate, And determine the difference in their opinions according to many variables as: (Teacher Gender, School Place, Experience and both the Educational an d Scientific Qualifications). The research showed the following results:(The size of the school violence is in the medium magnitude, and the Results showed that there are no important differences between the opinions of teachers of high school in Lattakia about the extent of the school violence there are in schools, according to the following variables:(Teacher Gender, School Place) and that there are important differences according to the following variables(teacher Experience and educational scientific qualification). In Conclusion, the Research included some proposals, the more important of them:( Find a substitute for the Beating Prevention Law, in way aims at making the student bears a part of his responsibility towards his life, study and school, and Open a discussion with students to express their opinions, and give trust to them).
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between social intelligence and creative thinking among secondary school students in Damascus, in addition to identifying the level of social intelligence and creative thinking among the students in t he research sample. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method. The study sample consisted of (74) students from secondary school students who were randomly selected. The study tools consisted of the first measure of social intelligence and the second measure of creative thinking. The researcher conducted the necessary statistical analysis to ascertain the psychometric characteristics of the research tools on the one hand and to verify the validity of the hypotheses on the other hand. The results were as follows: 1. There is a significant correlation between social intelligence and creative thinking among high school students (first secondary) 2. There are statistically significant differences in social intelligence among high school students due to the difference in sex (male - female) in favor of females. 3. There are no statistically significant differences in creative thinking among high school students due to gender differences (male - female). In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity of preparing some activities and exercises that help to develop social intelligence in high school students and to find courses that promote and stimulate the skills of intelligence and thinking, especially social intelligence and creative thinking. The study also recommended that the teacher focus on presenting his material on skills Interpretation, analysis, flexibility, fluency and originality so that students can acquire creative thinking skills
