The research aims to study the most important economic efficiency of agricultural foreign trade indicators, and to identify the most important problems facing the export companies and organizations working in the field of foreign agricultural trade, using descriptive and analytical approach in the treatment of research data. The results show that the annual growth rate of Syrian exports during the period 2005 to the first year of the crisis in 2011 amounted to about 15%, and from 2005 until the end of 2014 about 1%. We have chosen the agriculture sector، and the need to go to increase agricultural exports. We'll focus on it in our present search، hoping to succeed in serving our country to withstand economic backbone and Foundation of all other types of resilience.
This research handles one of the most important and contemporary subjects. It is the status of Islamic banks, which proved a significant presence since its earliest beginning, through increasing growth in market share, high performance and amount o f banking businesses, and multiple methods of Islamic funding. This research focuses on studying the conditions of Islamic banks in general, in terms of offering its concept, principles of founders, and the practical application of these principles in bank business, then examining the conditions of Islamic banks in the Syrian Arab Republic in spite of its newness and the crisis the area is going through. This would be done through displaying its origin, development, the performance of banks operations in it, and knowing if these banks are committed to the principles of founders ,then monitoring the crisis’ effects in the area since 2011 on the performance of these banks (Financial resources - Funding- Profits) through analyzing its financial statements and knowing the truthfulness of these positive data mentioned in these statements specially the highest profits. The study also attempts to offer some suggestions to face the effects of the crisis and straighten the work of these banks. The most important search results is that the conditions of Islamic banks in general and Syrian Islamic banks in particular did not match the principles of founders , financial resources employment ratios were low despite the rise of resources and funds , and the profits made by Syrian Islamic banks during this crisis are not real profits.
The export sector is the main driver of the development process of any country and one of the main pillars of its economy, the importance of exports lies in their ability to create new jobs, reform the deficit in the balance of payments, and attract private investment, both domestic and foreign then they help achieve sustained growth rates. They are also the most important sources of foreign exchange, and without export the economy fails to develop and unemployment increases. This research studies the evolution of Syrian trade balance during the period 2000 – 2010. Results show that the balance of trade suffered a deficit between (2004-2010). exports were much lower than imports. Oil exports and their impact on total exports and on the Syrian economy in general as well as agricultural exports and their share in total exports were also analyzed using Hirschman Index.
This study is based on the analysis of Syrian traditional private bank's ability to manage liquidity and profitability, especially during the current Syrian economic crisis. The study revealed that: Syrian banks are focusing on the goal of liquid ity, while it reserves on their lending policies for most extent, and the increasing of return rate for most Syrian banks is caused, due to its non-operating profits which also comes out as a result of re-evaluating of foreign currencies center. However, this study emphasizes on the importance of rising up the obligatory cash reserve that imposed on deposits. Taking into consideration the deposit types whether current or long-term. This research aims to study the Syrian banking system performance in light of changes that began in Syria since March 2011 and their implications (the case of Commercial Bank of Syria). It was found that the banking sector exposure to fallout led to instability, which limited the role of as a financial intermediary supporting production and encourage investment in the various national sectors of the economy, in addition to reducing the volume of services provided by banks, and changes in exchange rates, and a crisis of liquidity and credit.
