يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة أثر العمالة ذات التحصيل الجامعي فأكثر في معدل مشاركة كل من الذكور و الإناث في النشاط الاقتصادي. و ذلك من خلال تحليل واقع القوة العاملة بحسب النوع، و تحديداً قوة العمل الحاصلة على شهادات عالية، و من خلال تحديد حجم الفجوة الجندرية لمعدل المشاركة. مما يمكّن من دراسة الأثر المتوقع للمستوى التعليمي لقوة العمل من حملة الشهادة الجامعية فأكثر على معدل المشاركة في النشاط الاقتصادي، باستخدام الانحدار البسيط، الأمر الذي يساهم في تقديم صورة تساعد صانعي السياسات المتعلقة بالتعليم و سوق العمل. حيث أظهرت الدراسة الحالية انخفاضاً في نسبة مساهمة كل من الذكور و الإناث في النشاط الاقتصادي رغم نمو العمالة من حملة الشهادة جامعية فأكثر.
و خلص البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج, أهمها:
يؤثر مستوى التعليم الجامعي فأكثر للإناث سلباً على معدل مشاركتهن في النشاط الاقتصادي.
يؤثر مستوى التعليم الجامعي فأكثر للذكور سلباً على معدل مشاركتهم في النشاط الاقتصادي.
The purpose of this research is to study the effect of higher education employment on labour participation rate. This is done by analyzing the reality of the labour force, especially the reality of employment of people with university degrees as well as by defining the participation rate by gender in order to illustrate the gender gap. It also determines the impact of higher education on the labour force participation rate, using simple regression. Doing these two things helps in putting future economic policies.
The study shows that there is a decrease in the whole labour participation rate during the period of study despite the rise of higher education employment. Using a descriptive analytical and statistical method, the research comes up with some important results:
Higher education negatively affects the rate of female participation in economic activities.
Higher education negatively affects the rate of male participation in economic activities.
