This study has been done on Sparus aurata (Sparidae). Fish samples (297 individuals) were collected along the Syrian Coast from March 2012 to February 2014. Total length (T) was 15 - 31 cm, and the total weight (W) was 53,1 - 410,34 g. The study o f gonado somatic index (GSI) showed that the reproduction period was between November and February with a maturity peak in January (3.98±0.97)% for females ,and in December (2.19±0.29)% for males. In addition, the length at the first sexual maturity was (21.5 cm) and (22.5 cm) for males and females respectively. The results of the hepato somatic index (HSI) was compatible with the surrounding environmental and physiological changes which resulted from the change of sexual activity during the reproductive cycle. Fecundity showed a wide range for a given length, there was a linear relationship between the absolute fecundity and each of length groups and total weight. Relative fecundity was (567896-849362) egg per 1kg body weight. The frequency distribution of eggs diameters revealed the presence of one peak, and the eggs diameter during the reproduction period ranged from 0.05 to 0.3mm.
This research deels for the first time the studying fecundity of species blue crab Portunus pelagicus in our regional waters which as an introduction to breeding and culture. This research carried out in the period from September 2011 until January 2013. At the following three region of Lattakia coast : Fishing bort and picnic area, Ibn Hanni area and Southern Corniche area.Biomonthly samples were collected from Littoral and Sublittoral area of 8-18m deeps. Studies results revealed as the following: The number of mature females 240 female, Ranged: carapace length 4.6-7.9cm Carapace width between 5.2-13.8cm and body weight between 49.2-171.45 g . Spawning takes plase during the period from May until December and the rate of the highest in the month of October. Absolute fecundity in females of this species was ranged between 21435-143510 eggs, and relative fecundity was ranged between 1924-766651 eggs/g, and the eggs diameters ranged between 0.25-0.45 mm.
This study aimed to detect the relationship between some metabolic indicators of energy with fertility results in the period: 8 weeks before calving till 8 weeks after calving in dairy cows.

A total of 410 Sardinella aurita Fish , were collected from Syrian coast during the period from April 2014 to March 2015.Total length and weight ranged between 81 – 270 mm, 6.94 –137.29g respectively. The aim of present study was to illustrated som e aspects of reproduction biology for Sardinella aurita. . Gonads Somatic Index (G.S.I.) for female and male recorded highest value in early June 4.22 and 5.80 respectively. Male and females round sardinella reach first sexual maturity at total length (17.97 cm and 18.67 cm respectively). Mean absolute fecundity (FA) increased with body length ( ) and weight ( ), with an average of 20714.79 ±4876.21 oocytes produced per spawning female. Relative fecundity (FR) ranged between 242 and 285 oocytes/g of body weight (average: 266.17 ±21.49 oocytes/g). The study on the frequency distribution of eggs diameters revealed the presence of one beak of sardinella aurita. The egg diameters of sardinella aurita ranged between 0.2mm -0.7mm with an average 0.45±0.18 mm.
This research aims to shed light on the reality of population growth and its components and highlighting the characteristics and changes in the educational structure of the population in Syria during the period studied. This study also aims at know ing the position occupied by the population in Syria on the steps of the educational ladder, through the analysis of the percentages for each stage of educational levels. One of the most distinctive results that have been reached, that there is a direct relation yet weak and insignificant statistically between the changes of the population growth rate and those of the educational structure in Syria. Accordingly, those changes of the educational system are related to other changes than the ones of the population growth rate such as the education, government expenditure on education and higher education assimilation policies ,etc.
This investigation was conducted at the Pome and grapevine Division in Sweida governorate in 2014-2015. Four introduced pear cultivars (Anjou, Bartlett, Red Bartlett and Beurre Bosc) were studied, through fruiting and growth organs, fertility, average of fruit weight, and the yield at P< 0,05.
This research was conducted with the aim of applying artificial insemination in poultry for the first time in the Syrian Arab country by studying the semen quality of local Syrian roosters and knowing the differences between the effect of using fresh or cooled semen on the fertilization rate in hatching eggs
