This study aimed to detect the relationship between some metabolic
indicators of energy with fertility results in the period: 8 weeks
before calving till 8 weeks after calving in dairy cows.
Forty eight dairy cows, 5-9 years old, were used to determine
their response for using of equine Chorionic Gonadotropine (eCG)
and Cloprostenol associated with PRID on post-partum anoestrus
treatment in order to increase the fertility.
This study aimed to detect the relationship between some metabolic

This study aimed at studying factors influencing the probability of
processing dairy products by rural women, the importance of food
processing as an income-generating activity through the analysis of
profitability of these products, and identifyi
ng some of the
economic and social effects of producing dairy products on rural
households.
This study aimed to study the economic efficiency of producing
biogas from manure dairy cows, through cost and revenue account,
using some of economic indicators.
This study was done on the records of 564 milk cows
during the period 2004-2007 .Those cows were dismissed
for many reasons and in different ages. The range of
dismissing age is between 3-6 years. The ratio of
dismissing of those cows was between
20-25% . The rate
of dismissing was high in the first lactation season . It
reached 27,43% for the years 2004-2005, and 24,45% for
the years 2006-2007. The highest percentage of dismissing
was in the first month of milk seasons .It reached 34,49%
in the years 2006-2007.
This study included 198 patients who were divided into groups according the clinical severity of acne: mild (30.30%), moderate (44.44%), severe acne (25.25%). We chose 50 persons who did not have acne and depended on them as a control group.
Our s
tudy showed the correlation between high and frequent consumption of certain food stuff (milk, dairy products, fried food, sweets and food with a high content of sugars, chocolate) and the increase in the risk of occurrence acne. We could not prove the existence of a relationship between frequent intake of (eggs, fatty food, nuts) and the incidence of the disease. But the study showed that increased intake of each of the (dairy products, eggs, sweets, sugars, and food high in fat and fried) may be exacerbating factors the disease, because increased consumption was accompanied by more severe cases of the disease. But we did not notice this link with chocolate and nuts. Our study also showed the importance of the high consumption of each (fruit, vegetables, fish and marine products) as a prevention of occurrence acne, and the lack of consumption increase the probability of appearance the disease
This research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of
Food Science laboratories to isolate lactic acid bacteria from some Syrian milk
products (milk, yogurt, cheese) and determine some morphological,
physiological characteristic and the ability of these isolates to ferment sugars.
The study is based on the cost of milk and marketing margins in dairy
farms in Jordan and estimated cost function. This study is based on a cross
section data from 33 dairy farms. In the study it was determined that the cost of
raw milk production
in dairy farms is 0.43 JD/ Kg. and the most important cost
factors are feed cost, depreciation contributing 64%, 19%, respectively of total
production cost. It was found that marketing margins of milk were 77%,
econometric estimation of raw milk function using different forms showed that
the linear model is superior to the other forms. The elasticity of the estimated
cost function is found to be 0.20.
A total of 294 samples of raw-unpasteurized bovine milk and variety of
dairy products (hard cheese, sweet cheese, cream cheese and cream), were
collected from local markets in Lattakia city as well as 44 samples of used water
(clear potable water
collected before used in cheese preparing processes) and
preserving water (turbid water collected from hard cheese preserving tanks).
All samples were analyzed for E.coli O157: H7 detection.
