This research aims to study the water sources that feed watering and landscaping gardens networks in Homs city , where wells constitute most of these sources and study related problems and how to protect and preserve the quality and quantity require d for the fact that some of these wells is used to provide drinking water in the absence of the ability of water sources drinking key on it. The establishment of a database to establish the structural comprehensive sources(Master Plan) of water which are securing water for watering gardens, depending on geographic information systems (GIS) and perform analysis operations, processing and utilization of these results in making and decision support process to reduce waste operations and rationalization of consumption and conservation of pollution and help finding alternative water sources to cover the winning water deficit for watering gardens and propose appropriate recommendations.
Fresh water is considered as a top priority concern that captures Syria because of limited water resources and high rate population growth (2.52%). This paper focuses on virtual water concept and studies the possibility of utilization it in agricul tural sector, and calculate the water balance of Syria accurately. The virtual water volume was calculated for most of the crops that are planted in Syria and the total water footprint and its indicators were calculated. A mathematical optimization model is developed for the selection of the cropping patterns distribution in Syria that use water with higher efficiency and better economic income, and minimize the food gap by offering two scenarios. As a findings of this research, the food demand was not covered completely but mostly because of water shortage, and the food gap value was decreased in the first scenario from 10950 million Syrian pounds to 9850 million Syrian pounds and to 5100 million Syrian pounds in the second scenario because of the productivity improvement of some crops and the increase in the production of some crops (wheat, maize) which are the main crops in food balance.

The second by working to strengthen its role in contributing to with the municipality in sorting and recycling and willingness to buy recycled good, which contributes to ease costs, and thus improve the management. The aim of this research to identify the degree of presence environmental awareness about the management of solid waste in the province of Lattakia from the point of view of the mushers of research sample. And to identify the differences in their views depending on the variables studied (sex gender, educational level, place of residence). Research Applied on a sample of the population of the province of Lattakia that number had reached 280 people. The researcher used the questionnaire, which was relied upon in reaching the results of the study, was to ensure the stability of the resolution in two ways: first way retail midterm has reached stability coefficient (0.829), and the second method equation Cronbach alpha was the reliability coefficient was (0.793), a transaction firming acceptable statistically.
