هدف هذا البحث إلى تبيان دور التحليل الاستراتيجي في إدارة الأزمات في إحدى المنظمات الصناعية السورية, وهي المؤسسة العامة للتبغ (فرع المنطقة الساحلية), وقد تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي كمنهج عام للبحث, و تم جمع البيانات بطريقة الاستبيان, والمقابلة الشخصية. وقد تمثلت أهم نتائج البحث بالآتي: وجود دور مهم لتطبيق عملية التحليل الاستراتيجي في إدارة أزمات المؤسسة محل البحث, وكان الدور الأكبر لعملية التحليل الاستراتيجي للبيئة الخارجية وتمثلت أهم توصيات البحث بالآتي: -يجب على المؤسسة العامة للتبغ المواظبة على ما تقوم به من تحليل للبيئة, وذلك لما له من دور إيجابي في إدارة أزمانها, وأن تسعى لتحسين تلك العملية, وإن من أهم ما يجب أن تقوم به هو الآتي: - اعتماد أسلوب السيناريو في التحليل -تحليل ثقافتها التنظيمية - توفير أنظمة معلومات متطورة تساعد في عملية التحليل الاستراتيجي
