The current research aimed to know the feeling of loneliness among the tenth grade of the national centre for distinguished in Syria; as recent arrivals to the centre. They are adolescents, who have special qualities common in terms of superiority mental and academic. The research also aimed to know the differences in the loneliness according to the variables of sex, the city where the student’s family lives, the place where the student spend the week-end and the student’s desire to join the centre. The sample consisted of (67) students registered in the tenth grade for the academic year 2014-2015. Where the number of the original community was (74). To reach the objectives of the research, the scale of loneliness for ( شيبي، 2005 ) had been adopted. Resultants confirmed the presence of high level of loneliness among students. There was not any impact to the variables of research on the level of loneliness, except the desire to join the centre, where the student who did not want join the centre themselves had the highest loneliness level than the others.

The aim of the current research is to determine the level of academic achievement motivation of the students in the national center for distinguished in Syria. In addition to determining whether the level of academic achievement motivation varies a ccording to the stage of study or gender or the desire to join the Center. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the descriptive approach was adopted. The motivation scale was distributed to a sample of 170 students at the National Center for distinguished in the academic year 2015-2016. The results showed that 74% of respondents had an average level of academic achievement motivation, 24% had a high level and 1.76% had a low level. Also, this level did not differ according to the stage of study or sex, but differed according to the students' desire to join the center. Students who joined the center with their personal desire or with a common desire between them and the parents were more motivated to achieve than students who joined the center with a desire of their parents without theirs.
This study aimed to investigating the prevalence of Cornell Critical Thinking Test Level (x) on a sample of talented students in the national Centre for the distinguished (NCD) in Syria, and to identify the levels of critical thinking among talente d students, and whether these differed according to (students’ gender, academic level), the sample consisted of (167) talented students, the results showed that the participants exhibited an average level of Critical Thinking, and no Significant differences were found due to gender, the results also revealed that Significant differences were found due to academic level for the third academic level.

The aim of current research is to identify the research tendencies among the students of the National Center for the Distinguished in Lattakia, by using a research inclinometer as a measure occupational orientations in the Strong Interest Inventory o f interests, which was codified (standardized) by the researcher, and the scale has been applied to a sample of 80 students from the National Center for the Distinguished, and the search results found no differences between respondents in the investigative tendency and its key metrics, except for differences in favor of females in science scale.
