The aim of this study is to compare the dissolution time of six formulations of paranteralSodium Ceftriaxonepreparation, the original product and five generic local ones. The dissolution time was measured precisely as the point at which the dried pow
der of Sodium Ceftriaxone preparation became a transparent solution on the addition of physiologicalsolution 0,9% of Sodium Chloride. The dissolution time of the six products were different. The measurement of infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) of different powder preparations was conducted, then the weight, the humidity and the morphology of different medical powders were studied to investigate the factors influencing the dissolution time. The difference in dissolution time between the six products was due to differences in powder characteristics such as water content, crystal shape and dimension. It was shown that one local generic product of Sodium Ceftriaxone islook like the original one.
The objectives of this were to investigate the response of Lupinus albus sp. to
phosphate rock (PR) as a source of phosphorus (P) nutrition, and to study the role organic
acid (Citric and Malic) in phosphorus dissolution from PR. Tow experiments we
re
conducted: 1) A greenhouse pot experiment, in order to study the response of white lupin
to the application of PR and Triple super phosphate TSP at three application rates (100-
450-800 ppm). 2)- A laboratory experiment in order to study the role of Citric and Malic
acids concentration and initial pH in P- release from PR. The results showed that Lupinus
albus sp. was able to use PR for P-nutrition, and has a relative agronomic effectiveness of
61% when compared to TSP. The possible Exuded organic acids such as Citric and Malic
were responsible for PR dissolution due to tow mechanisms: 64% of PR dissolution was
due to pH decrease in the rhizosphere area, and 34% due to chelating of calcium cations.
PR dissolution was increased by the increase organic acid concentration, but decreased
when the initial pH value increased. Dissolution was always more pronounced with citric
than malic acid.

In this work, Ck85 carbon steel was subjected to cyclic heat
treatment.
Process that consisted of cyclic short-duration (3.4 minutes)
holding at 800 C (above Ac3 temperature) followed by forced air
cooling. After 8 cycles (about a total 1 hour du
ration of heating and cooling cyclic), the microstructure mostly contained fine ferrite
grains and spheroidzed cementite. This microstructure possessed
an excellent combination of strength and ductility. The disintegration of lamellar pearlite through dissolution of cementite
at boundaries lamellar during short-duration holding above Ac3
temperature, and the generation of lamellar defects during nonequilibrium forced air cooling were the main reasons of
accelerated spheroidization. The strength initially increased mainly
due to the presence of finer microconstituents (ferrite and pearlite)
and then marginally decreased with the elimination of lamellar
pearlite and appearance of spheroid cementite in the microstructure.
The dissolution rate of Iron and Titanium from Syrian basalt rock was
studied by hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, mixture of hydrochloric acid
methanol, sulfuric acid methanol solutions. The effects of temperature, time of
digesting and concentra
tions of acids have been investigated, the ratios of solid
to liquid and stirring speed were constant (S/L=0.02). It has been clear that
when the mixture of hydrochloric acid and methanol (100:50(V:V)
HCL:CH3OH) was used, the best dissolution for both iron and titanium was
obtained when we digested the rock and it took 6h at 100 ˚C where as the
concentration of hydrochloric acid and methanol were [HCl]=11M, [CH3OH]
=0.92M, the resulting ratios of dissolution of iron and titanium in the
mentioned conditions were 75.53%, 63.19 % respectively.
For controlling the release of Ketoprofen from matrix tablets, combinations
between different polymers in different ratio were formulated.
Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the applicability of HPMC combination with
Polymethacrylates (Eُudragit RS, RL & L100) for controlling the release of ketoprofen from matrix
tablets. Four types of HPMC with different viscosities were tested in the study.
