Addressing the mismatch between natural language descriptions and the corresponding SQL queries is a key challenge for text-to-SQL translation. To bridge this gap, we propose an SQL intermediate representation (IR) called Natural SQL (NatSQL). Specif
ically, NatSQL preserves the core functionalities of SQL, while it simplifies the queries as follows: (1) dispensing with operators and keywords such as GROUP BY, HAVING, FROM, JOIN ON, which are usually hard to find counterparts in the text descriptions; (2) removing the need of nested subqueries and set operators; and (3) making the schema linking easier by reducing the required number of schema items. On Spider, a challenging text-to-SQL benchmark that contains complex and nested SQL queries, we demonstrate that NatSQL outperforms other IRs, and significantly improves the performance of several previous SOTA models. Furthermore, for existing models that do not support executable SQL generation, NatSQL easily enables them to generate executable SQL queries, and achieves the new state-of-the-art execution accuracy.
the aim of the research was to use different types of
flour in terms of extraction rates (70-80-90%) and then study the
specifications of these types of flour and the specifications of the dough
and bread produced.
The research aims to study the determinants of purchase to the consumers of chicken
meat in the province of Latakia, and see how it affected the consumer when making a
purchase decision, respondents were surveyed (500) the consumer, was the distrib
ution of
a questionnaire allocated for this purpose.
Use the statistical and analytical method for the study and analysis of the data, which
used randomized complete block design, and testing of F in accordance with the SPSS
statistical program, the research found a range of results, including:
• purchasing decision influenced by a variety of factors: the level of consumer
income - Product Specifications - the price of chicken meat - other meat prices - the views
of friends.
• Low impact of consumer life and the views of the seller and the Declaration on the
purchase decision process.

The study was taken place at the experimental station (kharabo), Faculty of
Agriculture, Damascus University, 1464 - one day old chicks of the hybrid
Lohmann were used to determine the effect of adding different levels of
methionine without or wit
h lysine on some of carcass traits. Chicks were
divided randomly and equally into 8 groups (183 each) at the first day with 3
replicates for every group (61 each).
The phenotypic characterizations, such as: fruit weight, seed weight and
dressing percentage for eighteen olive cultivars grown in Palmyra oasis were
studied and discriminated them qualitatively by studying their seeds and
processing their images
through fractal geometry technique during 2009 and
2010 seasons. The obtained data were analyzed statistically to have the least
significant difference by using Genstat 8th ed program, and the dissimilarity
matrix of these cultivars were included according to morphological and
geometrical features through SPSS program.
The research was conducted at the poultry farm in Kharabo, Faculty of
Agriculture, Damascus University. 1080 chicks of Lohman hybrid, one day old,
distributed randomly and equally into six different groups, G1….G6 (180
chicks/ group) with three re
plicates in each group (60 chicks per replicate).
Chicks in all groups were fattened for 42 days on Diets composed of vegetarian
feeding stuffs, based on corn, soya bean meal and different additives. Chicks of
G1 were fed on the main diet without adding iron or copper. The chicks in G2
and G3 were fed on the main diet mixed with 80 and 160 ppm of iron
respectively. The vhicks of G4 were also fed on the main diet mixed with 8 ppm
of copper. The Chicks of G5 and G6 were fed on the main diet mixed with iron
and copper (80 and 8 ppm) and (160 and 8 ppm), respectively. Results
demonstrated that adding iron and/or copper to the broiler diet was safe for
chickens up to 42 days of age and did not affect significantly on carcass
parameters. Supplementation of broiler diet with 8 ppm of copper was not
associated with accumulation of copper in the tissues of liver, leg bone, breast,
and thigh. Adding 80-160 ppm of iron to the broiler diets was not associated
with high level of accumulation of iron in the tissues of breast and thigh but
with high concentrations (p < 0.05) in the tissues of liver and leg bone.
Twenty two samples of black tea were collected from local Syrian markets
during 2009-2010 to study the quality characteristics of tea in terms of
moisture، water extract، caffeine، total ash، water soluble ash، alkalinity of
soluble ash, insoluble
ash in diluted hydrochloric acid in addition to
microscopic examination.
Results showed that all tested samples were identical to the Syrian Standard
No. 286/2003 for all above quality specifications، except for caffeine percent
which was less than the standard in 4 samples. The results also showed that
there was no adulteration with foreign plants nor exhausted tea leaves.
This study was carried out at the laboratory of Food Science Department,
Faculty of Agriculture, Damascus University in order to evaluate physical,
chemical and microbial properties of Akkawi cheese in Syria. Thirty samples of
Akkawi Cheese collec
ted randomly from different Syrian cities and urban
markets during 2011 were analyzed. Chemical and microbiological analyses
were applied to determine their suitability to the Syrian standards. Results
showed that the quality of cheese samples did not fulfill the set minimum
Syrian quality standards and the proportion of the violation of the Syrian
specification for total dry matter in cheese samples studied was nearly 10%,
and 100% for sodium chloride. The study also demonstrated differences in
chemical properties, with an average of acidity, moisture content 0.34 %, 53.9
% respectively. The fat content had a wide range for all cheese samples. On the
other hand, the proportion of health violation for this type of cheese from the
Syrian standard was 73.3 % for Coliform bacteria and 56.6 % for the E. coli.
but they were acceptable for the existence and account of Staphylococcus
aureus , Salmonella and Listeria.
