This paper describes the winning system for TextGraphs 2021 shared task: Multi-hop inference explanation regeneration. Given a question and its corresponding correct answer, this task aims to select the facts that can explain why the answer is correc
t for that question and answering (QA) from a large knowledge base. To address this problem and accelerate training as well, our strategy includes two steps. First, fine-tuning pre-trained language models (PLMs) with triplet loss to recall top-K relevant facts for each question and answer pair. Then, adopting the same architecture to train the re-ranking model to rank the top-K candidates. To further improve the performance, we average the results from models based on different PLMs (e.g., RoBERTa) and different parameter settings to make the final predictions. The official evaluation shows that, our system can outperform the second best system by 4.93 points, which proves the effectiveness of our system. Hemorrhoids are a common anorectal condition with a major medical and socioeconomic impact. Owing to the high incidence of hemorrhoids in the adult population together with the risk of complications of traditional treatment. The aim of our study was
to present our experience with laser procedure to treat 2- and 3-degree hemorrhoids with absent or minimal mucosal prolapse. Our study included 150 patients with 2 and 3 degree of symptomatic hemorrhoids who underwent to a medical center in Latakia city in 2017-2019. Data were collected on clinical and outcome. some of this result were compared with global studies. Our study included 100 male and 50 female patients of mean age 40 years. Hundred and ten patients had bleeding and 40 patients had hemorrhoidal syndrome. Mean operative time was 25± 5 minutes. Patients were discharged home within a mean 240 ± 60 minutes and allowed to resume normal activities on the first day post operation. Intraoperative bleeding occurred in 20 patients (13,3%). 1-2-day post operation, bleeding occurred in 3 patients. Hemorrhoidal thrombosis formed in in 10 patients 6,66%. At the six months follow – up, no complications were reported, and there was significant improvement in symptoms. No pain reported on week post operation in 73,3% of patients. Patients with 2- and 3-degree hemorrhoids with or absent minimal mucosal prolapse, treated by laser procedure had an excellent outcome in term of resolution of symptoms and postoperative pain. Minor complications occurred intraoperation. No negative results or recurrence had been noted after six months post operation and this is important when compared to traditional surgery.
The research provides a comparison between two methods for treating osteoarthritis. In the knee joint using platelet-rich plasma injections after or without arthroscopy, the study included 100 cases every fifty of them were treated in one way and the
results were evaluated after surgery and the researcher reached the following results. Treatment with platelet-rich plasma injections after arthroscopy provided an advantage in terms of pain reduction and reduced joint effusion in the knee, improvement of the ability to rest on the limb (walking), and a marked reduction in the severity of symptoms and signs of degeneration was noted.
Larynx cancer is the most common cancer of the head and neck with the exception of
the skin and it accounts for 2% of all cancer diagnoses, its genesis is directly associated
with alcohol drinking and smoking, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the m
ost common
histological type (95%) of larynx cancer.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate 3D conformal radiotherapy of accelerated
system for early larynx cancer and to estimate acute and late toxicity which appear because
of irradiated normal tissues around the tumor (thyroid gland, spine cord, ….) and also to
evaluate the rate of recurrence and survival.
Materials and methods: The study was performed of 44 patients of scc larengeal cancer
stage T1/T2, that underwent RT (2015 – 2017), 84% with glottic cancer, the median age
was 63 years, all patients were treated 3D conformal RT, Total dose between (60-66) Gy,
2Gy/fraction (5 fractions in week).Our analysis was to evaluate the acute and late toxicity
dure and after radiotherapy, and also the rate of recurrence and survival.
Results: The most toxicity was dysphagia (42 PTs) 96%, radiodermitis (30 PTs) 70%, the
least toxicity was tooth damage. No evidence of late toxicity, the rate of recurrence (11
PTs) 25%, metastases occur in (1 PT). (6/ 41 PTs) 16.4% were dead.
Conclusion: Radiotherapy is the important role to control early larynx cancer, and 3DRadiotherapy
is giving a large dose to treat the tumor and save the normal tissues around
the tumor from effect of radiation, therefor absence the late toxicity.

Thirty-two patients with port-wine stain were included in this study. The 585 nm
pulsed dye laser treatment with an air cooling device was repeated 4 times at 8 – week
intervals with a setting of 0.5 ms pulse duration and an average energy fluence
5 - 6.5 J/
cm2, using 7 mm spot size.
The results revealed improvement of port-wine stains after multiple treatments , and
69% of the patients achieved good or excellent clearance after the fourth treatment.
Transient purpura and tolerable pain were noted immediately after each treatment (87.5%),
crusting (25%), hypopigmentation (9%), hyperpigmentation (6%) were also mild and their
occurrence didn’t increase by repeating treatment.
The results of this study indicated that the 585 nm PDL is effective and well tolerated
in the treatment of port wine stain.
the leg ulcer is the common disease, it distributes widely in the world. it affect both genders, and any age. it strongly related to the vascular diseases, its most complications are infection and contact dermatitis. the management of the ulcer is de
pended to the etiology, and regeneration ulcer using different drugs, the surgical procedure is rarely taking place in managements ulcers. the duration of the study was february 2010 and june 2011. the percentage of leg ulcer among patients of dermatology clinic was 0.32%, and 5% of vascular surgery patients. the main age was 48 years. the most common causes of leg ulcer was chronic venous insufficiency (34%), and arterial (22%). the majority of the complications are contact dermatitis and secondary infection. therapeutic study had included drugs helping regeneration (32 ulcer), the best result was using Mebo and Silver Leaf, the percentage of healing was approximately 99% along 8 weeks.

The study includes 27 patients seen in AL-ASSAD University Hospital faculty of medicine Tishreen university Lattakia with gunshot sciatic nerve injury 11 of them have neurosurgery for nerve injury repair and 16 treated conservatory. All patients hav
e regular physical therapy sessions for one year. The strengths of all Muscles which innervated by sciatic nerve branches have improved for all patients. The best improvement was seen at tibial branch innervated muscles and the worst was at deep peroneal branch innervated muscles. Also the improvement at sciatic nerve innervated muscles was better in conservative patients group comparing with surgical one. The best strengths were at semimembranosus, semitendinosus,and gastrocnemius musceles and the worst was at tibialis anterior muscle
