This research aimed to study the relationship between job rotation and organizational performance in administrative offices at Tishreen University, where job rotation is dealt with as one dimension. Whereas, organizational performance was measured th
rough the two dimensions of efficiency and effectiveness. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data. The questionnaire was distributed to /363/ individual workers in the working administrative offices at Tishreen University, and the stability of the scale was confirmed by the Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. In order to test the hypotheses, appropriate statistical methods were used where both researchers used descriptive statistics, a difference test for one sample ‘one sample t test’, and the Pearson test to test the linear correlation between the study variables. Through testing the hypotheses, a number of results were reached, including: The low level of job rotation and the low level of both efficiency and organizational effectiveness in the working administrative offices at Tishreen University. There is a moderate strength positive relationship between job rotation and organizational effectiveness. There is a strong positive relationship between job rotation and organizational efficiency.
The phenolic compounds were extracted from leaves and flowers of Hops and grape
seeds from local production by soaking with different solvents (Methanol-ethanol-alcohol
and water mixture) . The polyphenols content in the methanol extracts for 100 g
dry matter
was 6.31 g for the grape seeds, 2.08 g for Hops leaves and 0.6 g for Hops flowers.
Methanol extracts were characterized by an antioxidant activity that appeared by their
ability to Reduce ions ferriques Fe+3, at a concentration of 2500 ppm, the Reducing Power
was 96.45% , 67.56% for the grape seeds and Hops leaves, respectively. The methanolic
extracts of grape seeds and Hops leaves at 80 ppm showed activity in scavenge free radical
DPPH. was 82.04% and 40.92% respectively. The methanolic extracts of grape seeds and
Hops leaves at 250 ppm gave the ability to protect linoleic acid from the oxidation process
of 78.98% and 48.41%, respectively. The antioxidant activity values of the extracts were
compared with standard samples of ascorbic acid and BHT.
This research aims to identify the relationship of the institutional
culture efficient and effective administrative reform process in the
public sector institutions. Where it was introduced the concept of
institutional culture and the concept of a
dministrative reform of the
efficiency and effectiveness angle, and then we dealt with the
reflection of these concepts on the ground in a number of the Syrian
public institutions. The main results of this research is the existence
of a relationship between corporate culture and the effectiveness
and efficiency of the administrative reform. Also shows a
difference between the averages of the opinions of the respondents
about the institutional culture in their impact on the effectiveness of
the administrative reform, while there are no significant differences
between the averages of the opinions of individual differences
sample about institutional culture in their impact on the efficiency
of the administrative reform.
the sample consisted of 36 patients who were admitted in alassad and tishreen
hospital between 2013-2016 with bacterial arthritis proved by clinical, radiological and
laboratory methods. They went uder surgical intervention ,during it,a continuous i
rrigation
system was accomplished according to designed plan. The irrigation period was 12 days
(mean) with mean hospitalization period 12 days. Irrigation fluid was considered regarding
to culture and susceptibility results in addition to antibiotic qualities .Results were
collected depending on joint functional activitiy return regarding to capacity, bearing and
stability(after a month-3 months- year),as well as natural laboratory and vlinical features
return .we used the criteria healing (irrigation handout). The joint functional activity
returned after a month in (70% mean) ,after 3 months in (77% mean), after a year in (89%
mean).while the clinical infection signs fell back after a week in (85% mean) ,after a
month in (92% mean), after 3 months in ( 97%). The laboratory signs fell back after a
month in (91% mean), after 3 months in (97% mean). A comparing was achieved between
these results and irrigation period ,hospitalization period by using CHI² test . The use of
continuous irrigation system in treatment of bacterial arthritis once it is diagnosed (in
regard to designed plan, irrigation fluid qualities and the host condition) improves the joint
functional activity and reduces hospitalization period so that ,it lessens economic load and
accelerates the return professional activity.
We have been evaluating the effectiveness of three types of
commercial disinfectants include ammonium hydroxide, and phenol
and ammonium Quaternary in concentrations of 5%, 10%, 20% of
each, to the effect on the non sporulated cysts ovales for Coc
cidia
type stiedae, which affects the liver and bile ducts in the rabbit, and
cause inflammation and hyperplasia in liver, gallbladder and biliary
canal infectious, and necrotic lesions with white color in the liver
tissue, in addition to the foregoing, also examined some of the
environmental effects of factors, including temperature , pH and
presence of organic matter.

The outsourcing of teaching at university colleges is a growing but
still limited practice. But, as a result of lack of faculty members, in
some colleges or graduate institutes in the public universities, resort
to employing this manner to fill th
is gap. Accordingly, this research
has dealt with the importance and areas of outsourcing by using
descriptive and analytical approach studying the case of the Higher
Institute for Management Development. The analyse show that the
growing use of outsourcing often reduces the quality. Among the
most important results of the study, the lack of correlation between
outsourcing of teaching and the efficiency and effectiveness of the
Institute, and the lack of meaningful significant differences between
teachers in the efficiency and effectiveness of the Institute to use the
method of outsourcing to teach attributable to the variables
(workplace experience and scientific rank). While there are
differences among teachers due to the variable age.
The free iodine (I2) in povidone-iodine (PVP-I) solutions is responsible for its
bactericidal activity, the bactericidal effect is steadily increased with the free iodine
concentration. This study aims to compare some of povidone-iodine solutions c
ommon at
the local market with one solution produced by Mundipharma company (Betadine®) which
used as a reference. Commercial samples (PVP-I 10%) were obtained from three local
companies (A, B, C), with one batch from each company. The research included
controlling free iodine concentration, pH and evaluation of bactericidal activity by using
disc diffusion method and rapidity of the bactericidal activity on both Staphylococcus
aureus and Escherichia coli. The local samples solutions showed low pH values compared
with Betadine®, furthermore, all the solutions extracted by heptane showed high levels of
free iodine with a preference for one local company. The high level of free iodine was
accompanied with an increase of inhibition diameter and rapidity of bactericidal effect.
Activity of Ziziphora tenuior L. leaves organic extracts against four pathogenic
bacteria, which were isolated from clinical samples and prepared from Al-Assad hospital
laboratory in Lattakia, were tested by disc diffusion method through 2014.
Res
ults showed that Ziziphora tenuior L. leaves extracts have antibacterial activity
against all Gram positive and negative bacteria. Inhibition zones were recorded between
9mm against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and 44mm against Staphylococcus aureus at
concentration of 200mg/ml for the methanolic extract. Whereas the inhibition zones for the
ethanolic extract were recorded between 7mm at concentration of 40mg/ml against
Streptococcus sp. and 34mm at concentration of 200mg/ml against Staphylococcus aureus.
These results represent the importance of Ziziphora tenuior L. as a source of natural
substances counteraction of pathogenic bacteria.
The antibacterial activity of Inula viscosa L. leaves extracts against some pathogenic bacteria, which were isolated from Al-Assad hospital laboratory in Lattakia, was tested by disc diffusion method.
Results showed that water extracts had antibacte
rial activity against all Gram positive and negative bacteria. The diameters of inhibition zones were between 9 mm against Pseudomonas aeroginosa and 41 mm against Proteus vulgaris.
All Gram positive bacteria showed sensitivity to all organic extracts, so they had antibacterial activity, while Gram negative bacteria showed resistance to chloroform extract except for the one of Klebsiella pneumoniae with an inhibition zone of 12 mm, and resistance for dichlormethan extract except for Pseudomonas aeruginosa with an inhibition zone of 15 mm. there was resistance for diethyl extract except for Serratia marcescens with an inhibition zone of 32 mm.
Ethyl acetate extract had antibacterial activity against all bacteria. Ethanol, methanol and acetone extracts showed antibacterial activity against all bacteria except for Escherichia coli with an inhibition zone of 10 mm.
This study indicated that water and organic Inula viscosa L. leaves extracts had antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria which also was tested, especially water extract, ethanol, methanol, ethyl acetate and hexane extracts. So the Inula viscosa L. leaves extracts may be sources for natural antibiotic in future.
